  1. Marijuana has amazing medical uses, part of the reason why it is still illegal probably. And hemp has sooooo many uses it's unbelievable
  2. Eh, I don't enjoy it (oddly though I can think really clearly when I do drink), but I can see why most people would.
  3. Yeah, " It is illegal for a driver to be blindfolded while operating a vehicle." Pretty crazy stuff. If these are real/still around, then what the [bleep] Alabama?

I'd like to see an option to hide your post count. Or just get rid of them
  5. Sounds like you know a lot of morons
  6. Though I disagree and have something to say to that I'll just drop it to get this horrible thread back on track. BECAUSE MAN, ITS HIS RIGHT TO NOT HAVE TO WEAR ONE!HIS RIIIIGHHHTTT RARAWRWARWRWR THE GOVERNMENT IS EVIL1!
  7. Oh, and I was looking for a specific picture from Australia or Africa or something. I thought it was hyena vs wild dogs, but I'm not sure if they are wild dogs. Posting because it is awesome
  8. Uh, that's pretty much what I'm saying. I'm aware that dogs were wild and were perfectly capable of fending for themselves, but now that they're domesticated they are house pets. Although I believe there are still wild dogs in Australia, yes?
  9. That's because leaving an animal you bought and assume responsibility for outside 24/7 exposed to the elements and anything else that might be outside is [developmentally delayed]ed. You say this like a dog can't fend for itself in the outside world. They've been doing it for God knows how long before humans started domesticating them. Thank you for proving my point. Before we domesticated them/wild dogs yes, ones that have been bred and raised in domestication will have no chance. There was actually some small USA town that didn't have enough $ to support their dog shelter, so their great idea was to just release all the dogs in the park. You are buying a dog, not a lawn ornament. Sorry for the off topic
  10. That's because leaving an animal you bought and assume responsibility for outside 24/7 exposed to the elements and anything else that might be outside is [developmentally delayed]ed. This topic is hopeless because it is stupid. Of all the things you could have picked you chose seat belts.
  11. This is the stupidest topic I've seen in a long, long time
  12. Didn't matter how much I played sports/went bike riding/activity in general, I never really gained any weight. I had a "human performance" class in highschool, which was basically weight lifting, and I toned so I do have some muscle. Contact sports are really fun when you're small though, I will say that
  13. Yeah, the good thing is I can eat anything I want and not have to watch my weight, the bad thing is pretty obvious. Since I'm planing on going into policing I gotta hit the gym soon
  14. Pretty much what I was thinking from page 1. Of all the things he could have picked, he picked the thing that the majority of people would likely do anyway if laws weren't there.
  15. If you're planning on getting a gym membership, why not consult with one of the trainers? Would be a ton more helpful than anything anyone can give you online
  16. I'm 5'8 and 95 pounds at last check up. High metabolism is so bitter sweet.
  17. And good hard cardio, which the pool will come handy for
  18. Because your argument is basically HOW DARE THE GUVMENT TELL US TO WEAR SOMETHING THAT WE DONT EVEN NOTICE IS STRAPPED TO US! THE AUDACITY! Just put the god damn thing on, it doesn't affect you negatively in any way. If you want to be all rebellious and complain that if you don't care about your body/life then go throw yourself off a bridge or something. Everytime someone crashes and gets more damage done than if they were wearing a seatbelt they are costing OTHER people money, among other things. Oh hey, it's my CHOICE NOT TO WEAR A SEATBELT, well you know what? If you die there are going to be a lot of [bleep]ing depressed people/family who know if you weren't so stupid you could still be alive (I don't mean anyone in this thread, as you said you wear yours).
  19. You're obviously missing some pretty vital points then. The government has business in some aspects of society, but personal safety - which is their intentions for making seat belts and helmets mandatory - is the business of the individual. That's like making it illegal to eat to many hamburgers. I pity a person who cannot see the beauty of exercising their own rights and freedoms. I'm not saying that people shouldn't wear seat belts. Hell, I even wear mine. I just think it's ridiculous to force it upon someone. It's your body and your property. And in the case of human projectiles, that is a rare exception, much like what you made of my arguments about being trapped in a car. Personally I've never seen or heard about someone killing another person because they didn't wear a seat belt, so I highly doubt it's a common occurrence. God this argument is so [developmentally delayed]ed and juvenile. Kriegsmier Requesting you make a thread where we can ask you questions about being a police officer. That would be awesome.
  20. Well I was hoping they werent gunna search the car and they would have easily seen me drink the beer because the windows werent tinted or anything. Oh well [cabbage] happens I guess, I had it coming to me and atleast I got off on the underage and seatbelt ticket, And got to keep the beer that was in the trunk! :) haha. Some places it's illegal to have empties anywhere but the trunk
  21. I just did a bunch of those and they are really interesting, and quite accurate. The only thing that was a bit off was the personality matching to a major, although I live in Canada. The first one it matched was wrong, but the second one on the list was one I was considering seriously before picking my current one. Thank you for putting these on facebook!
  22. Eysenck started the criticism on the "type" kind of personality study iirc, and studies done backed up his idea that "types" are not valid ways of measuring personality. The IPIP NEO just measures the Big Five separately and doesn't attempt to link them together or anything like that. I also like that the IPIP NEO uses the Lickert scale (scale of 1 - 5, 1 being strongly agree, 5 vice versa) as opposed to just T or F. Not to mention the IPIP NEO specifically measures the big five, which have been tested every 10 years for the past 150 years successfully. IIRC, there is no statistical evidence to support the types theory, so it's done using traits now (Which have been organized into the Big Five). I mean, you can do the Myers Briggs and believe it if you want, but if you want a more accurate test try out the IPIP NEO.
  23. No, this is just fun pseudo science
  24. That predates the internet by half a century or so. Most personality tests are crap and pseudo science. If you want a GOOD personality test then you want the IPIP NEO. Most personality psychologists regard it as the most valid and accurate. It measures the Big Five, and traditionally costed a lot of money to take. A college proffessor put it up on the internet though, and you can find it here http://www.personalitytest.net/ipip/ipipneo1.htm It is 300 questions though, and could take upwards of an hour to do.
  25. TIF doesn't really have a very big pking community. You want to know where the pkers are, check out zybez.
