I do. If I'm going to spend my points on something, and it's something with the potential to look epic and it ends up failing, then that needs to be fixed.

I actually like the auras like reverence, ad soon vampirism and the other prayer one. Knockout isn't as effective as I'd like, but oh well... I kinda like the idea of rewarding their loyal (paying)players. its different from holiday items because you have the ability to earn and decide which ones you like without time constraints. I'm not a member all the time, but when I am I enjoy the content, and the rewards are nice.

I may have.. i tried to hit edit but I might have quoted 'o.O I added a bit on at the end of the second post; Yes the wording seemed slightly awkward, but it only just caught my attention while i read it and that was fleeting.. other than that it seems legitimate... *epiphany* I think I figured out how they did it. Nope.. got close but it still requires server login; They could have used this if they hacked a jagex server. (I wont go into detail but if you know much about computers or email its not hard to guess) they made a mistake when they sent it from "Runescape" instead of "Jagex Ltd" with that address.

Unfortunately it also opens the doors for scams. has anyone caught anything I missed that makes it fake? And is there anything we can do to wide-spread this so that others know? i forsee a bunch of scammed players >.<

New scam email; This was NOT an amateur. Screenshot of SCAM email: Now I will show 2 legitimate emails I find it alarming that the scam email apparently came from Jagex itself. The email sent me (on my Evo, so I expected it) to a site that looks like the simplified login page (but still had the login via facebook etc. it looked extremely legit) the only thing I caught was when my phone reloads, it shows the address bar, so I saw that it wasnt a runescape site and canceled the loading page. As far as Im aware they never got the password, but as a precaution I had to change my password anyway. This is the second time in a week; the first was on the runescape facebook page. At the time I had thought that someone just changed their avatar and name to match (they made a post about another round of mods being selected and an application link, again quite convincing.) ; Now I'm not so uncertain if there's a Jagex Mole. I got another email that had an identical picture layout but different address ([email protected] or something like that) about a "Classic beta" allowing everyone to play the classic game with a few adjustments to models that were graphically glitched. The button wasn't linked to anything in that and now I wonder if that wasn't a scam fail too... The T&C, custoner support and contact us emails at the bottom are all legitimate as well. I've already reported the site and email to jagex. So now I dont know how to feel... betrayed? im angry for sure... I feel stupid for almost being scammed again within a week.. thats a noob thing to have happen... I've played for 5 years... Guh >.<

Honestly - i love you! Quote of the year: "Do a 99 because you love it." Don't get a 99 because you just want a skill cape......That's what is wrong with people!!!! Do it because you love it! I agree completely. As a pyromaniac(well lover of fire anyway), I chose my first skillcape to be firemaking; HOWEVER even though cooking and fletching have relatively very little effort, they are by no means effortless. I also enjoy cooking in real life, and while in game its not nearly as rewarding, It will trim my firemaking cape. Thats why I am getting it.(next i will do strength, agility, fishing or magic... I am unsure as to which one at the moment.)

in my experience it takes approx 110 hours to get to 99 firemaking from level 61. this is with clicking errors, random events, getting pked and the like, but you have to be realistic(though now that bounty worlds auto skull, I dis-recommend them) just divide that by 95000 logs and multiply it by the exp per log, and you're set... roughly...

Runescape ahs helped me in a number of ways... from improving and making use of my puzzle/problem solving skills, to helping me become a better coordinator, strategist, and planner of everyday things. it also has introduced some ways of thinking outside of the box(required for many of the puzzles, treasure trails, and quests) that have benefited me in real life. i have learned parts of other languages(almost required to communicate with runescapes vast population) so yes! it has helped me in real life =]

We almost all like classic pking. when i needed an adrenaline rush, i knew where to go. even at 105(or on my little pker acounts) the wildy is a fearsome place. the new update changed that. yes, those new ghost things are awsome, but still. it isnt half as scary as pking. i KNOW that those will own me... with pking, everything was a surprise. so why not bring back the old pk system? in 10 servers, they should bring back the old pk system. BUT these would have rules to stop RWIT'ers: item restrictions(to bring into the wilderness. doesnt count what you kill for/pick up) --------------------------------------------- -no noted items(unless they were earned from a clue AFTER entering the wilderness) -no more than 10k cash. yes, 10k IS generous, but if a noob is dumb enough to take 10k into the wilderness, then thats his problem. almost no one would pay real cash for 10k, and if they did, then they are DESPERATE. -no un nessesary non combat items. this doesnt include holiday items/fun weapons. items allowed might be: compas and other TT helpers, pots and food etc. -no more than one of each combat item(excludes runes, and ranged weapons. maybe a cap on those at 500-1000 each depending on type?) i know its different, but its a LOT better than the current situation.

3 months after i started, and my first account got hacked(at lvl 12... rofl?) i made a new account and was training on giant spiders. along comes this noob. noob:REPORTED!!! me:me? noob:yes you!! me:why? what did i do wrong :anxious: ? aperantly this guy had been reading the rules recently, because he promptly spouted out: BUG ABUSE!!! though spiders arent bugs, i didnt bring this to his attention then... i hopped out after reporting him for misuse of customer support. :roll:

i would love to laugh... but its not funny. I just bought a debit card(it said they would work on the RS web site) and activated it, but since membership set up as continuous payment until its cancelled, the card DOESNT WORK! i wasnt able to be a member this summer, because we were gone half of it, and my mom wont let me use her credit card unless its summer. so i havent been a member for a year and a half :wall: (meaning that my bank is packed with members items, most of which ive thrown out by now) and i have no way :shame: to make money besides merchanting pking or skilling(all time comsuming). so yes. it is 'that hard' :boohoo: :cry: :| if only they would fix it so we could do separate payments monthly, or just MANUALLY continue the membership, instead of automatically.(or even as a second option)
