yea what i figured but my friend seems to think catherby is better, i dont really pay attention but i think there is only like 3 willow trees even there lol :

what willows would you consider a better place to cut.. draynor (more willows) or catherby (less crowded/ususally) :anxious:

it would probbly infact be a good idea to invest in a rare about now.. School exams.. Hunting skill 3rd age armors but by summer, schools out, hunting and 3rd age would have died down and of course rares would go up then, so buy one and sit on it a few soild months.. i think you would come out fine. O:)

it is over rated because it is "new" once more people do treasure trails and get it over time it will drop for example the first day the dragon 2 handed sword came out it was like 12-15m? now it is like 1.2m? people just can't wait.. of course if you have the money for 3rd age then it don't matter, however 3rd age dont look as good as dragon does in appearence if you ask me, of course since i have dragon i kind of take its side

looking aside from party hats,halloween mask, santa hats and all other rares, dragon was probbly the most desired thing in runescape. Once barrows came along it kind of took some attention away from dragon,but dragon was still your best bet without a repair bill. When 3rd age came along it once again took away what dragon had, the best defence armor without repair but....with the extremly over rated prices of 3rd age dragon still stood about how it was, but lets face it dragon isnt looked apon like it was before barrows or 3rd age came along... I think dragon needs a defence update to boost it up...

About the mime random, yes it is completely random, However... Doing task such as woodcutting, fishing, hunting, etc. increase or seems to increase anyways the chances of getting a random event, i have had mime 5 times and 4 of those 5 times have been during my quest for 99 woodcut, and the other time was while i was simply sitting in a bank. It's "random" but you'll get it eventually, it gives you something unexpected to look forward to anyways :wink:

I don't think the gloves require prayer? however the barrow gloves require 175 quest points to finish up the end of RFD, so if you don't have 175 quest points the best gloves you can get are dragon.. i think they do require some kind of defence.

well you cant get banned for calling someone a "noob", if that were the case we don't even want to know the number of people who would be banned right now, anyways, sorry about your bad runescape history, just make sure you don't do anything else wrong and you should be fine.. \

well if your strength training buy dhaorks, since you said your going to do a lot of slayer maybe you should save alittle more and invest in guthans, the torag extra seemed like a pretty nice option for your budget :mrgreen:

for a free player your probbly in the best place there is, umm yea do tele grabs for some extra loot, if you decide to become a memeber then you could do pest control, if not just keep doing what your doing and you will get your desired mage lvl soon O:)

I mean thats the reason people call another person a noob because there trying to anger them, so it's easier just to play if off and reply something like "yea" and just walk away, they won't be happy when the "noob attack attempt backfires" :-w

yea pest control is a good option, if you were to do blue dragons it is best to range them, melee would kinda of be a waste.

well i am 96 woodcutting, i only had a dragon axe from lvl 80 wc-82 decided it was not lvling me much quicker if any quicker then a rune one, so i sold it. But everyone says there "a lot" better so if you have the extra cash then go for it. they seem to hold there vaule, so just sell it when your done/get tired of it :thumbsup: *Just be careful to pay attention, dragon axe heads can fly off and people will run like crazy to get to it before you, if you didnt get with in the time limit of other players being able to see it on the ground*

yea, sounds good, everyone has cook cape lol, but like i said i basically want it for the green trim on my woodcutting cape when i get it :wink:

well, you could do some clue scrolls, some new treasure trail items are worth a pretty penny, you could start fletching because it lvls fast or you play pest control, it only pays 1k per game but it's fun and great xp and after awhile you can make pretty good extra spending cash. Just a suggestion! :-k

already going for woodcutting tho, i just want a second 99 easy skill so i can have a trimmed skill cape 96/99 woodcut, 3 lvls to go =D> Probbly will do cook...afterwards

the willows in draynor for sure, try to get a world that don't have to many people, if you become a memeber the willows near catherby bank and candle shop are also good xp :thumbsup:

i can't wait to get 99 woodcutting, its one of my favorite skill's and skill capes, however i want to get a second 99 skill but one that moves along faster then woodcutting, so i basically have 2 choices, fletch or cooking, i have not yet decided, 99 fletch would like nice with 99 woodcutting but i like the cooking emotion better and it seems like cooking might be faster if you purchase most of your food. Kinda of confused, feedback would be wonderful :lol:

you could just do fight pits, bring your friends get a lot of people then take turns winning, its fun and you get a lot of tokkul, so when you make enough for the onyx its pure proft \

well, you could buy the yew logs and bow strings and nature runes and you would lose some cash but get mage xp and fletch xp the only "pure profit way" is to cut your yews and make your bowstrings and make your nats but even if you just made your yew longs and bought the nats you would still make good cash, if you wanted to just get fletch xp and didnt care about making much cash you could buy 1k bs and 1k yew logs then make 1k yew longs and sell you can make around 50k-100k and get fletch xp but thats all i can think of. i'm not big on fletching myself. \

i know thats why i placed (powercutting) after the word willows not yews, but yea i'm going to do willows, thanks :mrgreen:
