Wow, quality entertainment ITT. I feel like making a joke but it'd be pale in comparison.
  3. Psychopaths/sociopaths/serial killers are incredibly rare anyway Case in point, so are lions like Scar.
  4. Go longboarding around. Don't try to pull tricks and stuff, just wander, listen to music. If you feel like carving to the beat, then do it, let yourself move. Get some thoughts flowing and come back. Do something creative (you should get FL Studio, by the way). It gets me pretty inspired.

Screw you Americans, thrifting sucks here.
  6. They have a code of conduct (that is how they appear normal), but it's not a moral code because they behave in a certain way strictly to minimize the consequences of their actions. This may be the logic behind our morals too (don't kill or you'll be jailed, shunned, etc.) but there's a veneer of civilization on ours (don't kill because it's wrong). Animals behave in the same way as psychopaths do, I think.
  7. Some humans don't have morals? I know the some don't have emotions, but does that mean that they don't have morals? Psycopaths behave amorally.
  8. Yeah, but some humans don't either. That would mean humans don't have morals, according to your logic.

    Thanks!

This is the style thread now, the OP is pretty much irrelevant.

Thin soles are a sure give-away of a bad construction in that type of boot/shoe. Personally, I've seen enough of the whole workwear thing.

I've done it before, and I preferred it to a lot of the things I've had... Fifteen year-olds don't make a fuss about what they're drinking, they're too afraid to seem like [kitties].

I forgot to announce I'm 16. Usually it's the other way around...

Hah, as I scrolled down I was like "Holy [cabbage], she's a keeper" then "oh".
  15. I'm pretty sure most people who suddenly get the hang of it are older than you, Niflheim. All hope is not lost (in fact, most of it remains)! @helpmeownlife: Glad everything's working out for you!
  16. Talk to him and give him some time to get his priorities straight. If that doesn't solve anything, there really is a problem; he'll take a video game over you. I'd go look somewhere else. Well Lent, you wouldn't be having the problem with girls being too easy and not being "good" enough for you if you weren't completely awesome right?
  17. Something can feel good and not be emotional. For example, eating strawberries. Also, that's not what hypocritical means.
  18. I like the way you think. I don't, that could have been pretty funny. I remember reading something about animals having some type of morals not long ago, but I can't for the life of me remember where. [Edit] Found it. This article just keeps being relevant... http://artofmanliness.com/2010/07/25/our-disembodied-selves-and-the-decline-of-empathy/ http://www.telegraph.co.uk/earth/wildlife/5373379/Animals-can-tell-right-from-wrong.html According to this article, animals who live in groups have some kind of morality. And that makes perfect sense if you think morals is a social survival system. They allow us not to be kicked out of a group. I think it was Freud who said that, on disillusionment and war.
  19. Sometimes, I'll say something controversial here just to be argued with. A theory pops into my head, but I can't really be sure I'm not thinking something dumb (dumb as in illogical, not abnormal or immoral), so I'll post it.

  21. I feel the same way about candles. I went to a party and when I woke up the next morning i saw a half-eaten candle, it was pretty cool. Unscented, too.
  22. this basically. or you could release a personal vendetta on behalf of our gender, and sit her down, sigh heavily and friend-zone the [cabbage] out of her. ^What I would do. It would shut things down quicker than waiting it out.
  23. Get up, put on a dancy song, and do a two-step. Right now. Try rolling your hips a little, or pushing them from side to side with the rhythm. Raise your arms above your head, move them to the beat in whatever way feels natural. What's most important is that you let go and have fun with your lady. That's what will make her happy.
  24. Yeaaaah I don't think anyone follows that rule. I've been pinned to the wall by a girl who had a crush on me though, while grinding. I still didn't figure it out until like a week after.
  25. Iran murders homosexuals and Canada lets gays marry. Yeah there's no advantage to living in Canada. That money is wasted on you. Can you please stop being insulting and pretending you know me? I get a very large discount because my mother works at my school. Canada doesn't allow polygamy, and yet it's not much of a harmful marriage. Ask a "typical" Irani and he'll tell you "Canada jails people who are guilty of polygamy and Iran lets them be!". According to our values, we've got the right things going on. According to theirs, they do. There is no such thing as a supreme culture which has figured out what's right and what's wrong.
