Now tell me, how exactly was the old wildy only good for no-life? And since when is playing for a long time a negative label? Why shouldn't a level 115 be able to kill a level 20, 50, or 90? I can still easily kill those levels in Clan Wars, Castle Wars, and Fist of Guthix. So Jagex should remove those thing too? You are correct of course insofar as that a 115 cannot kill a 20 or 50, but the point was that the wildy was unfair and favored those who were essentially bullies. Everyone whined that so many people quit when the old wildy went away...how many thousands more had quit over the years because they were lured into the wildy and lost all their items? AND there were elements of the game that you could only access in the wilderness. Green dragons, clue scrolls, agility course, etc...so comparing Clan Wars and other mini games is ridiculous. In the end it doesn't matter. The old Wilderness is long gone and good riddance. A lot more people are glad it is than miss it. Period. BTW...Altruism??? :roll: Who are you anyway Dennis Miller?

I love when I rile people by making valid points. I can tell I've struck a chord when people resort to insults and name calling. GREAT guide. But, don't be fooled. Hunting chins is long, tedious, and EXTREMELY boring. I went from 62-64 in the past few days. And although 2 levels in 2-3 days is pretty good it's still going to take a LONG time!!! I can't imagine getting to 99 anytime soon. There's gotta be a better (faster) way!

I would prefer using feathers and selling the roe/caviar. If I have some of all three in my inventory, which would be the default bait I wonder? thing is you dont need to bank unless you want to save the caviar This is true. However having to right click, move the mouse over "drop trout/salmon/sturgeon" then click drop 26 times takes as much time as running to the bank, depositing the fish, running back to the fishing spot, then running back to the bank again :wall: Meh...it's actually not so bad running that far. Anyways, it's good to do both Shilo and Barbarian. Mixes things up and keeps it a little more fun than being stuck in one spot.

Question about this though...is the only close bank at Barbarian Assault? If so this changes the timeframe. Not dramatically, but it's sizeable. The bank in Shilo is one click away. The Barb Assault bank is quite a ways. Probablly still better, but the excess running time would chip away at the time savings. Unless there's a closed bank?

...Is there such a thing? I used to play all the time, but when they did the update into the "beginner"/"intermediate"/"advanced" thing...I lost interest. BUT, I now want to work on my attack (specifically to get to 99!) and I know PC is the best way to do it. Problem is the "official" PC world is always empty, and hopping trying to find the right world is a pain in the a$$. Is there a way to get into a good world easily? My stats are in my sig...my combat is 119 so my #'s are pretty respectable. \

I'm working on my cooking cape because; A) I've been playing 3 years now and have no skill capes B) Cooking is easy to get to 99 C) I can make good $$ selling cooked turtles and rays I'm not working on my cooking cape because; A) I demand respect B) I give a crap how impressed or not impressed others will be C) I like purple If anyone says "nice skill cape", they'll get a "ty" from me. If anyone says "your cooking cape is teh noob" they'll get a "fu" from me. I play RS to have fun and accomplish tasks/goals/quests. Pretty sad if you care what someone else thinks imo.

I can't believe someone is actually complaining about how someone else pkills, or avoids getting pkilled. :roll: So you picked on someone who's a lower level than you, they tele'd, and someone else attacks YOU for picking on the first guy. You sir, are a moose-twit. All's fair in love and pkilling. I always thought pkilling was for the weak anyway. ANYTIME a pkiller gets foiled either because the victim runs, or tele's, or otherwise survives the attack it is a good thing. Next time don't attack a lower level. Thanks for the replies. Fletching sounds the best. At least I'll recoup (some of) my $$ back. what I dont get is how people say cooking isn't worth it. Right now between buying raw, then selling them cooked (sharks) I almost break even. Once I'm 94 or so I'll switch to sea turtles which will actually net a profit! But maybe I'll look into fletching... @ regionfury...which kind of logs are you fletching? Yew?

What are the best skills to increase with money? I'm working on my cooking. I realized the spread between buying raw sharks and selling them cooked is relatively small, so I can buy my way to 99. Yes I realize there's many who don't agree with doing this...But, I've been playing for what feels like forever, and I have no 99's. Plus, I've accumulated a bank full of stuff...full dragon, guthans, godsword, etc...I have everything I want to buy PLUS I have 12 million cash. SO I figure I'd work my way up with skills with my $$. Suggestions? Preferably something where I'm not COMPLETELY wasting my money but I'm open to it.

Actually that is the problem. I have the chimes instead. Any idea on how to change it back to the saw or the crystal now? I want to work my construction.
