Hopefully someone can help! Topic say it all...I must have died while carrying it. Is not in my bank. Tip it says to talk to Brimstail in the Gnome Stronghold to get a new seed, but when I talk to him there's no option to talk about the seed or the saw. I also talked to King Nardone and Hazelmere but got no info. I can't believe of all the objects in Runescape managed to lose one that cannot be replaced?!?!?!?!?! please help!! :pray:

Hey thanks for the info/suggestions peeps...although Asianboy, you sure sucked the life out of me!!! :ohnoes: I've been playing 3 years now and it took all that time to get to 90! I guess I shouldn't look to 99 as a serious goal anytime soon... I have been doing slayer, but frigging duradel keeps giving me the same assignments over and over...Kalphites, Dust Devils, and Fire Giants, non of which drop squat! Well...the F Giants do but only once every 100 kills... Ah well...patience patience patience I 'spose.

Ya I know...this has been asked before many times I'm sure, but I'm gonna ask anyway. I'm currently lvl 90. It seems like its gonna take frigging FOREVER to get to 99!!! What's the best monster(s) to train on? Or that is to say...something interesting and worthwhile. I don't want to train on Rock crabs. I don't want to die of boredom getting there.

Former Pkers want you to think they are dangerous. I practicially live in the wildy since the update and it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out how to avoid them or get away from them. Like you said, dhide...keeps range and magic hits to a minimum, and if it hits with melee just use prayer. Or just keep your run at or near 100% and all you'll need are 2 clicks worth to escape.

What are you talking about?? Doing clue scrolls have become impossibly hard with the revenants! They freeze you, teleblock you, poison you, and do what-not on you in like one hit! They easily hit 20-30 in every hit, you do not stand a chance if you're doing a clue scroll! Pkillers already did that before, only just for the fun of it, and often in packs. The revenants only attack at random, and you can easily escape them. Clue scrolls are much easier now.

+1 Geez, I was hoping the December 10th updates would get rid of lil' kiddies like this... The Dec 10 update did get rid of the lil' kiddies. There's no more pking. \ Not everyone agrees with that. Weak as YOU may think it s his point is right on. I mean...c'mon, making a SONG to whine about the updates? IMO all the complaints about the updates are the spam. I mean, we get it already. Pkers don't like the update. Everyone else does. Pretty simple. Eventually, every temper tantrum ends. It's time.

1 mil is a lot of money to a lot of people. Not everyone plays 12+ hours a day for 3-4 years and can recoup that much easily. I can't say I blame him for ranting.

So if Jagex killed skilling and all the pkers were saying "OMG noob skillers, stop whining and just quit because we want you too!", how would you feel? C)You will care when your nature prices plummet.. There was a HUGE drop right after the update.. but now since its Christmas a lot of extra players are logging on to do the holiday event.. Nah, pking still lives... Maybe not in the old sense of the term but it's still there.. A) That was your decision. Did that come with a guarantee of content in any form? B) No, I dont want anyone to quit per se. Just the people who keep complaining about the updates and threatening to quit. "I'm gonna leave...I'm gonna do it...I'm gonna...Oh I'm goin' you just watch me...I'll do it...I mean it..." Puh-lease. Also, if Jagex did away with something I was by far in the minority in liking, might be pissed, I might even quit...but I wouldn't whine about is constantly and THREATEN to quit, I'd quit. C) No, I use my nats to high alch. And even if I did make them to sell and the price dropped, I'd move on to something else (like what happened with the price of sharks) And sorry...there was no drop. That's another myth the pkers are coming up with to make the update sound bad. If there was any drop, it was all the woodcutting/flax/fishing bots.

I REALLY love all the rants of how "thats it, I'm quitting", and "runescape sucks" and the like. Pkilling is gone. Period, dot, end of story. Most find it has made the game better, some dont. Either way, it doesnt matter, its gone. My question is, it's been nearly a week. Theres been no drop in the numbers of players online, and the number of whining posts about pk'ing being gone are still high. Sooooo..... If it sucks and you're going to quit, can't you just..QUIT? I mean, we don't care that your going to quit. In fact, if you were a pkiller we WANT you to quit. So just do it and begone already.

Yes. Yes they do. Actually...we need to do a guide where members share their escape routes... If they attack in the wildy Agility area, just jump down the ladder on the northeast side. They don't follow you. At least, the one time I was there they didn't. He WAS pretty damn determined though...every time I peeked back up he was there and tried to mage me. Eventually, I ran east to escape but he followed, until I got to the teleport by the mage arena. Now, granted...not everyone can make it that far, BUT...I was ahead of him enough that I was able to slash the two spiders' webs, while he was still on the west side of that little building. He also didn't follow me in, nor did he try to mage me through the wall even though he was in clear sight. I just waited 10 seconds, logged out, logged back into another world and of course he was gone. I walked back to the agility course and wasnt touched the whole (rest of the) time I was there.

They just might. Although, for some reason pl thought they were worth 1.5k+, but I NEVER spent more than 1k on them. Why would you spend so much I never understood. Just stand in the west Fally bank and you'll get tons of people willing to unload them for 1k.

Ok ya, I keep forgetting the trading thing. That part just plain stinks IMO. When I say "best update ever" I'm being a little one-sided in that doing away with player killing is the "best" part. Why is doing away with PKing the "Best Part"? Because player killing was, for most people the one facet of the game that made it unplayable. Really, only the uber-high levels pk'd, and those are the people that dedicate HOURS and HOURS to the game. Most people don't have such a sheltered life. I'm sure jagex partly did away with it to stop the RWT, but I would say it was mostly due to that it allowed a small percentage of players to have a totally unfair advantage over the majority, and when you have that you lose members. The wilderness is now a fun place full of new things to do and see. And please dont tell me its more dangerous with the reverants. Theyre easy to escape and are nowhere near as dangerous as a pack of 12 year olds chasing after you for your dhides and food. :roll: Yes, it ws part of the game, blahblahblah. Now it's not. With good reason. =D>

I'm sorry for you that you have to make up a number like 80%. That's complete exaggeration and only *your* opinion My opinion, is that it is less than 10% of members, who ruined it for the other 90 by player killing, are the ones complaining, and there's no need to bring it back. Based on the numbers online over the wekend, I'd say my figures are more accurate since there were just as many people online as ever.

If you're just trying to take a "group picture" and dont want uninvited members popping their heads in, why not do it at someones house? Only invite in ppl you want. Problem solved.

Mostly @ the green dragons. I've gotten over 200 hides and d bones over the weekend, and not one dreg pkiller attacked me. I got attacked by reverants maybe 3 times. normally, I'd have some jerkoff trying to kill me for my hides, or my food. SOOO much better now. IDK what some ppl are complaining about reverants. Sounds like (former) pkillers trying to make this update sound like a bad thing. It's MUCH easier fighting or avoiding them then a pack of 12 year olds ganging up on you spouting "just die already you noob". :roll:

I guess I did lose something... I used to bribe my 9 and 13 year old with money and items to do their homework, chores, etc. Or I'd have my son finish a quest I didn't feel like doing in return for a ddp, or something I didn't want anymore that he wanted. :-w

#-o Which is exactly why it ruined the game for most players. I couldn't agree more. Still, plenty of people were scammed with the wildy, like "hey drop party at my house, just let me teleport you there", or "I want to die and respawn at Falador...could you please help and attack me", just so the person would get skulled and lost ALL their stuff when thier buddy the lvl 136 mage teleblocks them and they both kill the guy. Either way, whats done is done and only a few of the millions of members will quit, although I bet most are just whining and will still play anyway. I'm sure it's no bigger a number than the people who lost stuff in the wildy just doing a treasure trail, or killing green dragons, or just plain old exploring and got aggrivated and quit.

Strangely enough, I've seen the opposite effect. I've added 4 people to my friends list, and not one person I know is considering quitting. Right now, all the members servers are PACKED, and there's lots of good people roaming the wilderness for the first time. I've gotten over 200 green dragonhides in the past few days, and not had to give one up to some lowly pkiller. I can't wait to do some nature runeing now. I don't know what some of you are talking about with the new monsters. I've yet to even come close to getting killed. they are a pain to fight, but escaping is easy. Oh well...a hearty bye-bye to those who only played runescape to prey on people who don't spend 12 hrs a day looking to steal from low level members. You will be dearly missed. N-N-N-NOT!!!! :^o
