In the situation you've presented us in I'd have to advise you to go for c'bow + bolts. ;)

Keris is very helpful and bring super antipoison as it lasts much longer than normal antipoison.

Terrorbird also provides infinite run if you use its scrolls, so thats double useful.

Saradomin Sword will speed up training but you will need to bank more as you'll have less defence. :?

Tip: -Upon entering the lair, head south then east, this will help to avoid prime(mager). -Now Supreme(ranger) will attack you, turn protect from range on and kill him with a melee weapon. -Head furthest east of the island, there is a safespot here. Now if you stay away from both prime and supreme, only rex(melee) will attempt to kill you. Continously kill him through mage and hopefully you'll have some nice drops. Good Luck! ;)

My combat is 90, I'm wearing full rune with a rune scimmy. I have no problem killing them, but I'd like to make a profit killing them. Switch the roaches as they are much better money makers. ;)

Combat level? Because if your combat is low it's hard to kill ankous, cost effectively/ make profit.

Once I complete 99 str I will have: 91-99 str 88-91 hp This is all through slayer, so I would guess that you would be very near/hit 92 hitpoints just before 99 strength. EDIT: So you would have to PC until about 91/92 strength. Then do slayer or regular training from then on.

When a fighting familiar aids you, do you get any xp for what it hit. So smoke devil hits a 5, will I get any mage xp for it hitting 5? And is there a formula to work out how much xp you'd get according to what it hit?

They've taken away the wilderness and replaced it with bounty hunter, might want to look into that. ;)

Would it be viable to train range effectively through slayer, using bronze/iron knives? I know Broad arrows/bolts is better, but I'm just wondering if it's possible with knives.

Cokaroach Workers aren't too bad, drop good amount of runes. They're level 56 though.
