  1. #26: Completionist: Week 18.

    · Dax · 03/07/12 08:38 AM

So I was 90k from the level, so I decided to:

Then I did a clue and got:

    (Sold for just over 300k).

    And then I did another:

And finally finished off my Hati Paws. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

  3. #22: Completionist: Week 14.

    · Dax · 02/08/12 09:18 PM

Started things off with doing the new quest and the three revised ones:

(Clicked out of Death Plateaus new screen, blegh, but I do like the look of these new ones)

And that's all I did this week. Catch you next time, ~Dax.

  5. #14: Completionist: Week 6.

    · Dax · 12/13/11 01:30 AM

Boring week. Got a bit too into Skyrim and only really played a couple of times this week. Gaining only one level.

(Also got three Whips in that task, thought it was pretty cool). Catch you next time, hopefully with more, ~Dax.

  6. #7: 99 Fishing and 99 Cooking.

    · Dax · 08/24/11 03:33 AM

This blog is just becoming a collection of 99's acquired. Got these today. Fishing then Cooking moments later.

Next is looking like Strength through Slayer or Thieving. Depending on how I feel. Catch you next time, ~Dax.
  8. (Really bad MS Paint edit for teh lulz.)

Well, I got my Adze yesterday, after being foiled at the second beacon. Which is really the second last. I thought that area wasn't in the Wilderness, so I thought I could Trollheim outta there. Alas, I couldn't. Thinking quickly, I ran to the closest out of WIlderness area I knew. The KBD lair. :wall: Can you guess how that went?

Anyway, apart from that, I've been Dungeoneering. In preparation for the update. I'd be playing that update right now, I guess. But noooo! So I gave up this morning, and went off to get 90 Attack and 90 Strength, through Slayer. I'ma get them, then get a mate with 97 Smithing to make me a Promethium Spear.

And the title? Something I've wondered about since the release of Strykewyrms. Jungle Strykewyrms are my current task.

    Catch you next time, ~Dax.
  9. Well. Here it is. The holidays. I've been waiting for these for a while now. Hehe. Anyway, I've got a bunch of goals, hopefully I can get a few down and work my way closer to giving up this game.

    For RuneScape:
    - 70 Dungeoneering. Goal from release, even better when I worked out that I loved the skill. Hopefully Batch 2 can help me out without me going through the dungeons, I do love doing it, but soloing is really slow, and the fact I can't be bothered to team up just makes things annoying.
    - 92 Firemaking. I (about 30 minutes ago or so) just obtained 90. This shouldn't be too hard, considering I've got it banked and then some (Good ol' Dunegoneering needing Firemaking). You'll see me hanging out World 99 Edgeville for this one. Hopefully I'll stick to this one and knock it out in one go, continuing from now.
    - Slayer, Slayer, Slayer. I can't think of a skill I love more. When I get bored, I slay. When I get poor, I slay. When someone asks what they should train, I say Slayer.

    For OtherThings:
    - 100% FInal Fantasy XII. A goal I will be starting soon. Greatest game of all time? I think so.
    - Finish BioShock 1. I've gotten really lazy, and the difficulty of the part I'm up to (Harvesting with a Little Sister) is gonna be hard.
    - BioShock 2. Start going through the story after finishing the first. Then I'm gonna go online more. Rank 20 at the moment.

    For RealLife:
    - Try to exist away from the computer. Hehehe.
    - Stay in touch with people (especially one <3: ) and do stuff. Tied in with point one.
    - Do SOMETHING school related. Exams end of next term. Scary when you think about it. School's gone really fast. :\ I don't like it.

Well yeah. That's it. I'm leaving for my grandparent's place tomorrow morning, for something like four days or so. So I won't be around. I'lll miss you guys. <3:

  11. And so it begins...

    · Dax · 03/20/10 05:52 AM

And there it is, in all it's glory. My new 'goal'. I shall be doing whatever potion, then camping Mages to resupply my cash. Hopefully I can get it without boredom.

Anyway, that's all I really wanted to say, now i've gotta get back to FFA Clan Wars with my clan and then homework afterwards, which I seem to have a lot of. School sucks.

    Catch you next time, ~Daxter.

  12. Which Kyatt's mine again?

    · Dax · 03/13/10 10:42 AM

Ok, I only did two levels of Summoning, using the balloon, so I never really used a Kyatt. I just wanted to use that line.

Anyway, I logged on for some epic Exp today, and did some pitiful Summoning, which ended up getting me two levels. I then went onto my original Exp Weekend plan, which was to Runecraft. I ended up getting bored Runecrafting, as I always do, and only got one level before returning to Yaks to get a few levels. I ended up getting two today, and plan to get my final tomorrow, making 80.

I also had a lot of homework this weekend, and you can see how that went. I didn't get any homework done, thanks to the Exp Weekend, and Pokemon Silver. Two friends and I are starting a Pokemon challenge, and after unsucessfully trying to find a full English patch of Soul Silver, we dealt with normal Silver. All of us choosing a different starter. We originally planned tochoose our own, but we ended up trying to randomize our starters. We all ended up with the starters we wanted. KInd of pointless. :)

Anyway, i've beaten four gyms now, and I don't know where i'm meant to be going. I have the least amount of Poke-experience among us, but my friends haven't played Silver as much, compared to other versions. I'm going to try and lay off the computer and gaming tomorrow, as I need to do the homework, but I don't think that'll happen if I get Final Fantasy XIII as I plan to.

    Catch you next time, ~Daxter.

  13. First trip of Mages.

    · Dax · 02/04/10 10:11 AM

I decided, out of boredom, to head on down to Spiritual Mages.
    Here are the trips results.

Selling two Boots off on the G-E, but selling my first pair to a friend. ;) The first two came in before 60 kills, while the third pair came in at around 220. The reason for having remaining Potions is that I was getting bored. :ohnoes:

That all for now, catch you next time. ~Daxter.
  14. My Raven just grew up, moments before 88 Woodcutting. I think i'll be taking a break and doing some other skills, despite the fact i'm still getting a heap of homework. It hasn't gotten hard yet, though. ;)

EDIT: I also got 79 Crafting an hour and a bit after.

  15. Well that's two things in one picture. Really happy to see this one fall out of the vine. I'll raise this while continuing to Woodcut. Other than this, I have nothing else to say, really. Although I am hyped about the fact tht I saved $40 today. Meaning I can get both the GTA IV Expansions for PS3 and Final Fantasy XIII. But I am also sad to say that I probably won't buy the second, due to the amount of focus it takes to keep up with those type of games. Although, with only a few more GTA missions, I could probably knock that out in a week of less focused school. (Possible in the holidays in April)

It's sad to say all this. Gaming has been a large part of my life for years, and it's sad to say that i'm going to have to drop a large part of it to get the good marks in school. Hell, I know this isn't even that serious either. I still have Year 12 to go after this. I think I might go clean up this first week's homework. Only a small amount of easy Physics stuff left to go.

    Catch you next time. ~Daxter.

  16. Fishing and Christmas Event.

    · Dax · 12/22/09 08:35 PM

My goal of 80 Fishing and Cooking may come to an end tomorrow, with me hitting 79 around the time of writing this.

The Christmas event was good, but not as good as Christmas '05, my favourite Christmas event of all time. The reward was alright (Still not as good as '05!), but thanks to some random in World 111 Varrock West, I learnt of the Candy Cane glitch, so for about five minutes, I stood there flinging Balmung around. :ohnoes: Luckily, there were no incidents that I could be held responsible for.

This year's Christmas: 4/5. (We need more stuff like Christmas '05!)

  17. Daxter wants to go Slay.

    · Dax · 12/09/09 02:17 AM

Slayer update sounds promising, I haven't got the time to get on RuneScape yet, but I do know that i'll be doing my tenth and fiftieth tasks from Kuradel. But most of the time, I will stay loyal to Lapalok. The new dungeon is sounding good. Another placde to find some of those monsters has got to be helpful, despite the fact I can't get all of them with my 80 Slayer. :P

My RuneScaping has been consisting of Thieving until I get bored or distracted, then doing a Slayer task, then back to Thieving.

I finish school for this year tomorrow. :) :o Going to a mate's place afterwards for a small-ish party. Which will consist of much PS3.

    That's it for now. Bye!

  18. Yeah, i'm back

    · Dax · 12/04/09 08:07 AM

I'm back, not that anyone cares! It was a pretty good trip, and I bought Them Crooked Vultures' album. (check it out) I also considered borrowing some money from my (rich) friend to get Chinatown Wars for PSP, but I held back.

So, all in all, it was fun.
