  1. Post nuclear winter I imagine a lot of what we have will cease to be. Near every internet or virtual device will be erased of use, but even through infrastructure, a vast number of things now could be left long after us for future life to ponder how the hell we accomplished any of the stuff we did. They could see the American flag on the moon, and one all ripped up on post apocalyptic earth and have no idea how a radio active planet of desolate wasteland somehow got to the moon to put anything there.

Its all about determination. And peeing every 5 minutes (beer guts are usually a result of expansion from excess liquid)

Day 3 of my pre-birthday bender ended at 4am last night. I'd welcome death at this point. Class in 20 minutes (it's 9am now). I'm almost excited to not drink after this weekend for abit, this hangover shits getting old quick. (but that's what happens when you try to do birthday shots AFTER 12 beers and a large White Russian)

RIP today thread. Got drunk at a party. Missed my colleges version of prom. Chick I dig went. She looked real good. Pictures everywhere. Ex is dating some dude. [bleep] it. Much beer left over for tomorrow night. First bender weekend in a while. I need it.
  5. I think this thread has evolved into a self contained psychology experiment, where we all kind of bounce our ideals off each other when we're not busy with the once-in-a-blue-moon new poster that hasn't heard the "lol you care too much, there's better things to do than fawn over that girl you like" response we always seem to conclude with. Thus, to progress the status of the ideology power struggle, we must identify why our opposers think what they do to understand them and potentially amend our own thinking. Its kind of why I get enjoyment in stirring things up
  6. Asking for background isn't super different than asking for sources in a research paper, as long as it isn't followed by an invalidation of whatever the opinion in question is
  7. I'm not offended but what are we referring to specifically when we refer to me saying one thing and doing another?
  8. 2nd Assault went live on PS3 yesterday. It's fun, though death is inevitable and swift in most scenarios in them. The M60-E4 is hella good. Metro is still a cluster [bleep], Caspian is much prettier and overall just more fun. Oman is gorgeous, and the sandstorm is such a fun element to play in. Fire Storm is still Fire Storm, but your chances of dying as infantry are increased so dramatically I have trouble having fun if I'm not in the Attack Jet. But that's all just regarding conquest. I haven't played much Capture the Flag yet, but it sucked in Metro. Current stats: http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/soldier/Brand_New_iPwn/stats/355806237/ps3/
  9. You're not necessarily going to end up unhappy Nice edit ;)
  10. There was also ancient Greeks that knew that the Earth wasn't the center of the Universe way back when during Alexandria times. The library was built on traded scrolls, so knowledge from everywhere in known civilization was lost. Also Egyptians even before that were able to construct massive pyramids in coordination to the alignment of the stars. They certainly did have calculus and trigonometry, even if it wasn't as sophisticated as today's trig/calc is. Going even further back, the Eastern Island heads and Stone Henge dont have any completely proven method of construction. Whoever made them was WAY ahead of their time.
  11. THERES NO SUCH THING AS LOVE EVERYTHING DIES AND ENDS AND YOU'LL ALL BE MISERABLE ABOUT IT UNTIL YOU'RE NOT AND THEN YOU START OVER AGAIN (is what this is starting to sound like) This argument is why I dont date very often. Why bother if I'm gonna end up unhappy anyway?

What a strange creepy little man
  13. Our species got dumber when the Library of Alexandria was burned. But at least we started putting iodine in our salt. Boosts us back up a whopping 15 IQ points on average. I can only imagine how crazy our understanding of our universe would be if that library survived though. It took us thousands of years just to rediscover that the Earth was a sphere for Christ's sake.

I had a great night. Started at a friend's court of honor for Eagle Scout. Saw a handful of kids I graduated with there, we got to talking and me and my one friend decided to go to a frat party with this lesbian couple we met a few months back. I expected it to be a $10 kegger, but we ended up walking into the Pi Lambda Phi 7th annual Two Piece Fest. Which is a sick basement show for two piece bands all day and all night long.Watched a handful of sets, some were plain weird (the Wharblers) and some were awesomely unique (Gun Muff) while others were just plain really good (The Joint Chiefs of Math). Hipsters galore. But I bought myself a pretty vinyl from The Joint Chiefs then headed to Shake Shack with our group to meet another friend. It lives up to the hype. God I love not having a job anymore :D
  19. Ive been agreeing with Muggiw a lot lately, but I dunno Maze. I kinda like your chocolate idea. Its just the right amount of cheesy.

I lost almost $30 because I had three of a kind twice in a row. And got beat by a full house twice in a row. [bleep]ing bull shit. At least i had fun with some cool folk while it happened.

Far too readable. 1/10. Try again next week.
  23. Id like to start a regular exercise routine. I just have to motivate myself to start I suppose. Its not made easy with my fluctuating morning scheduling (I alternate waking up at 830am and 11am depending when I have class) but I suppose a little determination could make better use of the ttime than sleep. Ive heard of light boxes, and I'd certainly pick one over pills. Dont know if its actually worth the purchase, but its certainly interesting. Perhaps tomorrow ill apply to grad school just to know if I'm even accepted first. Worry about payment later. I also have to get my minor sorted for my diploma. Could do that too. As for setting exercise goals, I wish there was a threshold system to know where I stand to even look to improve. Obviously tone shows progress, but I want to better gage my ability now to compare it to in a few months time.
