  1. Like I said, the enjoyment comes from the process of things. It's like playing an MMORPG-- the pleasure and enjoyment come from the journey to your goals, not actually obtaining the goals. Just think of it as living a life of constant pleasure/enjoyment, without any worries. It's an awesome life to have :D Apparently I've been playing MMO's wrong my whole life
  2. That was glorious, indeed. Check out this crazyiness http://www.youtube.com/watch?feature=player_detailpage&v=UJp8DXOvwBk
  3. It's decent. I liked it on my M16A3, but I've long since stopped using it. Makes distance shooting do 'more' damage by negating damage drop over distance. Makes close range encounter interactions change by jumping in recoil more significantly. Works best with bi-pod deployed. Overall though, there's better attachments to be had in that slot. I'm a huge fan of the silencer in particular.

That's just ludicrous. If you had an actual support based argument [you did] then you should receive full credit. The question asked if USA was a Democracy or not. You chose an option, and in my opinion had a rather structured counter-point to it's democractic image. I'd have given you a passing grade lol. Kinda want to read it though. [And for the record the US is truly not a Democracy, it's a Republic. Democracy is the people's self election, a Republic is a government approved list of candidates to be elected]
  5. Shoot a PM in IamDan's direction. Read his blog, yadda yadda. Post again if you want another opinion or have any questions/concerns. @Ouchy My condolences @Muggi From my understanding to be truly "carefree" is a joyless experience as you don't have the emotional output [care] to truly enjoy your experiences
  6. The Big Brother tag looks pretty slick. I'm on my 48th ribbon, but haven't gotten around to finishing it yet. Last I played Metro and there was a MAV exclusively killing people, but actually managed to get upwards of 11 kills. Excruciatingly frustrating to see your entire team distracted by a friggin' robot, and even worse to get killed by it twice when you were looking the other way >.>
  7. Isn't that what people are supposed to do? Feel? Care?
  8. Girl I've been talking to [the one i was debating committing to] called me tonight. Ended things. I laughed, and then it was awkward for a second. Then she said "talk to you later i guess" and hung up. Even I was surprised by how much I didn't care. I actually wish I cared. I literally feel disconnected because of my lack of giving a shit. How does one start giving a shit again?

    'murricah ... err 'stralia
  10. Not sure why the atheism source was necesary, but I get your point
  11. MG36 is my favorite gun next to the KH2000. I've also found pleasure in mortaring lately, but generally only as a response to someone else mortaring. Seems the christmas noobs are discovering the joy of 60mm shells, and I'm loving the free mortar kills [only about a dozen away from my first service star with it]. More often then not, I'll be counter mortared and win the fight by simply hopping off the mortar the second i send my shell out. Saved my life a few times. @Albel TURN YOUR MIC UP
  12. I only just switched to Air Radar today [been using stealth] and I have to say, it's much more useful. I can dodge enemy jets, AND get a heads up on their predicted AO. Much better than not getting spotted. I unlocked Below The Radar, but I'm probably not going to use it until I get maintenance. I've become a USAS-12 noob when it comes to Metro. Sue me.

$250/week is pretty sweet for only being on the clock 13.5 hours. I make $11 so whatever hour I spend on the clock just x10 to get my week pay. Makes things easy. ~$350/week is nice too, but my lack of social time blows

Comeback Kid and Close Your Eyes would have been enough for me. I'll consider it when more bands are announced. Might make up for the Rise Against/A Day to Remember tour I'll be missing next month
  15. Or it could be a great idea to contact her because it was a good relationship but event X occured that nothing could be done about. But truly it's neither of our business to decide for Jeff whether or not he should contact her. It only becomes ours until he asks for help on something [like how to not call her, or how to call her more often with out sounding desperate]. Odd factoid: I got back together with my ex due to the advice given on this thread [but many many generations of "gurus" ago]. Well...the first time anyway.

Tool's in town but it sold out before I got the chance to get me a ticket :'( $81 for nose bleeds though...
  17. Says the guy who was manipulated by his ex for years. Not meaning to be rude, but your case is exactly why contacting exes on a whim isn't a good idea. Can't help but smile at the knowledgeable stab. I feel like my iffy experience shouldn't ruin the chances of someone else having a good relationship though. Just cause I had a rough times doesn't mean everyone will. Some break ups are for sure supposed to stay that way, no doubt about it, but some people break up for something stupid, or simple. People grow and change constantly. Some relationships are worth another shot. You never know.
  18. Nothing wrong with a little experience. text her. have fun. I can rationalize why some people forbid others to contact their ex's, but it's such an absolute mentality. Nothing should ever be absolute.
  19. There's likely reasoning for that though. and I'm not just talking about event: guy was too whiny for girl.

  21. is there a blooper reel of the cameraman getting roasted by stray fire?
  22. I'm a conquest fiend, first "special" tag being for conquest wins obviously. Now I've won it 5 times over, soon to be 6. I started playing some team deathmatch recently though. Shotguns are so useful in DM. Rush is fun, but it's insanely frustrating on some levels.

Everyone blames the president. No matter who is put in charge, unless everything is perfect they get hated on by everyone. That's why we only had like 3 good presidents in the past 240 odd years. Personally I don't even think the president has any power. He's just the fall guy that takes all the blame for all the things the other branches get away with that wouldn't be enjoyed by the public. The whole electoral process is just the goverments way of gauging how the public feels towards certain issues, especially on a global scale [foreign countries care more about American politics than Americans do, let's face it]. The elections themselves are just a bunch of hoo-hah distractions so the public has something else to worry about while other things are going on. The real power comes from Congress and the Senate. And from what I can tell, most of them are douche bags.

Unfortunately, this is probably a true statement. Shrug. I'm not a big fan of him but imo he's probably better than any of the other options. I'm a republican, but that statement is also true. <_< We sure put up a good batch of candidates this year.... How on Earth can you still identify with that party after the crap candidates they've pushed the past couple elections? I'm alright with Obama going for another 4 years. He's doing about as well as anyone else would if not better.
