I missed you my dear doppleganger Abc1230! my ex was hospitalized for the same reason for a few months about 18 months ago. She ended up making a lot of friends, but hated the place. It's stange, because she talks about it sometimes and then she finds all these other people that went to the same psych ward and they all know the same people. It's like their own little community down there. Anyway, hope you're on a better road now, wish you the best and the like :) Today I have fireworks and beer. July 4th will live again!

this is precisely why I didn't live on campus my freshman year. the freshman dorms were no larger than my first floor, containing 3 bedrooms, 1 bathroom and a "recreation room". Before I even get to the bad part I'd like to mention that each bedroom is about a 18'x18' box. Worst part? Sharing that dorm with 8 others for a total of 9 people living on what almost qualifies as one floor of a modest sub-urban house. HELL no.

Haha, no its PAWN STARS. It's a decent show too. Except the business model is a bit shaky at best, blatantly annoying at worst. On one hand, they gotta make a profit, which is fine. On the other, they seriously undercut people who bring in stuff to sell. On the OTHER hand, some really cool stuff shows up from time to time. I was more interested that the history channel actually had a programme about porn stars. Ahwell, maybe one day. They've done it multiple times - history of the sexual revolution, introduction of prostitution, fascination over sexual stimulation...plus all the "behind the music" type things about celebrities, a couple of which were former porn stars. Although I might be thinking of the Discovery channel...

I stayed up all night with a girl that's trying to hook up with me, and the girl I'm trying to hook up with. bonfire turned into a not-so sleep over. but as long as we're name dropping, this girl that I'm trying to hook up with can play every instrument you can name on command, [and if she doesn't, she'll learn it on the spot if you give her one] and she's a nationally recognized choir and solo singer. not to mention she's mad good at drawing, and somehow invented her own glow-in-the dark paint using chemicals she refuses to tell me the names of. She's incredible. not famous though....yet.
