Since hardwick posted his photoshop sig. I'll post my first GIMP sig. Now look at my signature. I have got a lot better through experimenting and just playing. If you need help pm me. I use the GIMP too. Now on the sigs. Render is destroyed absolutely, and fonts don't blend, for starters, brushes are good, brush the whole sig.

Logo? I'll have a shot of that.

I'll have a go of this if I can find a good render/stock.

First one: Nice and minimalistic. Make the text over the scanlines. Second: Nice and calm. Third: Force is good coming from the sig. Fourth: I dont like the brushings from the hair. Fifth: I love this one. Sixth: Very restricted, and flow is pretty bad. Seventh: Awesome, everything fits. Eighth: :| I don't care much for this one, not that its bad, I just don't like it. Nineth: Looks a bit random. Too pixelated. Favorite: Keep it up.

I always set my c4ds to overlay, thats why you can't see them. I have discovered a technique, do some clouds then use IWarp tool the move out the picture from the render, from now on I'll try to refrain using brushes. And use fractrals to cover white spaces instead of brushes, I have apophisis or whatever its called.

Thanks much for replying. I think I over use the burn tool, and the blur tool, when I try to blur some sharp edges I think it looks good in the xcf, but not the jpg.

Gimp > Photoshop CS. I've had photoshop CS and prefer GIMP. (By the way Ctrl + L for layers.)

I'm sure I've seen those fractrals before, GIMP is a lot better IMO, I use it, take a look in my shop for my work.

First is a lot better, scanlines arent consistent which is good, It brings out the focal more, change the font.
