Archimage's Story
I knew it. The butterfly seemed to lead me to a fountain, I was really hoping to see Xeox, or Hawks.... The fountain was dry and cracked it was surrounded by walls and stalls. I sat down on the fountain to see where I am at, by the looks of it, it seems I am near the east wall of the town. As I sat down the Butterfly merely went back into my back and merged with the symbol once more. There was a cart nearby, on it was strange figures that vaguely looked like letters. I tried to read them. "Jeorg Mthlquin" just gibberish I though. I went back to sit down on the fountain , the statue looking thing in the middle of the fountain caught my attention. Near the center there was a hole as if a Gem or a Stone used to be there. OOC: The characters here are used differently than that of my world. There are still almost basically the same characters though.

The Simple Things In Life
Found this nice grave in a Graveyard. It's just an Angel with curly hair, reaching and on the tips of it's hand is a Butterfly. One of the wings of the Angel is chipped off. I remember I found this grave while doing a project about our Town History, it was a cloudy day as if it was about to rain when I found it. I just stared at awe at it for a good hour or so. It was dedicated to a Priest who died in 1968. I'm amazed the statue still stands. I always she this statue if I take the long way home from school.

Archimage's Story
My god the ritual took long. Finding support for the insignia was horrible, the nearest supportable tree was roughly a fifteen minuet walk. As soon as I finished the ritual I went back to the Inn to look for Xoex. He wasn't there. I'm guessing he went ahead, after all I did have to wait for sun and on top of that I had to walk back for the water I stupidly forgot. I grab my empty satchel and place the sharp rock in there and started running towards the fort. The fort was amazing, there was no trees just cement and roads. But it look like a palace, roads leading towards Spiral towers and a big one to what seemed the center and ultimately the Castle. Only creepy part was, no one was here. It looked like i t was a thriving metropolis, carts everywhere. I could hear the chatter in my ear and the music of the bards as I imagine the area full of people. But that slowly went away as I started running forward. "HAWKS!! XEOX!!! Anyone here!?" Oh well just and echo. Just then I felt a tingling sensation on my back. The butterfly symbol on my back turned blue and flew out. I decided to follow it hoping it may lead me to somebody. It followed the big road towards the center of town, where I guess would be a fountain of water or a market.

Archimage's Story
"Oh good lets eat!" "So what is this Ritual you speak of?" "Oh good question. When I was camping out west with Hawks I made a shrine to recharge my Magicks. It was a fairly crude shrine but it still did the trick. Before I left I snatched up a sharp rock Hawks made and a insignia that I made that was in the Shrine. For the Ritual to work I need to give new life in front of this insignia while the sun is shining. I guess you could say I'm solar-ed powered." I laughed at this. "Well anyway the way I do it is I find a little bit of wood. Make some sort of Box with it, and center the insignia. Then I would take about three or four seeds, bury it in the ground and pour water on it while chanting. Luckily I still have about some Berries with me that I can use to bury, the water I have no idea."

Archimage's Story
"Oh thanks for the offer I appreciate it" We headed into the Inn. Shimmering orbs of light hanged on the walls and glowed without signs of fading away. We entered another room where table stood. I took a seat while the man went to sit on the other. "Names Wizz. I come from a place named Diachilet. It was a nice world where technology ruled. In my world there was a system of Magicks, an system of energy that lies deep within my people. Over time we can learn to manipulate this energy, then when one comes of age we find our soul element withing ourselves. Mine turned out to be Electricity, I had the power of speed and temporary duplication. But the duplicate would simply mirror my actions, and I had full control over it as if it were a puppet. My mother element was fire, my father wind, I always wondered why I did not get fire. A male usually gets his Mother's Element." I took a pause to catch my breath. I was talking to fast. "Our government was a Monarchy, I went to a prestigious school. Same one my Mother went. My father died in a war fighting to protect our King when I was just seven. That was roughly fifteen years ago. When I went to this school I had to move north, I had to leave my Mother alone to pursuit my studies. I knew she would be fine living with her sisters. I was seventeen when I moved north to the School." I started pacing myself now speaking a little bit slower. "When I entered school I had class with the Princess, I remembered I played with her when I was little catching Golden Bugs for her collection. I caught a Golden Butterfly for my Mother.. Turns out her Element was Water, just like our King. I befriended her and helped each other in our studies to perfect our magick. After three years in school my Mother can down with an horrible strain of disease. She died a week after she was diagnosed. I remember being there to comfort her. She just merely told me to go back to school, and to perfect my gift. She always wanted me to get stronger." I took a deep breathed noticing that voice went melancholy. "When I got back the Princess comforted me. She held the funeral for my mother, for my mother also knew Princess after all she was a Royal cook for the King. She was buried right next to my Father. My studies were slowly declining. "Cheer Up. I'm pretty sure Helena wouldn't want to see you like this Wizz" whispered the Princess one night in my room. "I know, I just..." "I know what will cheer you up. Lets go to the Garden and catch Golden Bugs like we used to, that sounds like fun right Wizz?" "Sure" I said." My voice started to get serious. "That night we sneak off of school grounds to the castle. In the garden there was an abundance of Golden Butterflies. "Wizz, I want you to have this" She held up a purple stone on a golden base, behind the base was a fleur de lis. "It is a Gem that is put on the hilt of Warriors who defend the King, like your father. I put it on a golden base so I can put this necklace your mother gave me on the festival of my inner Element. That way you will have the protection of the people who love you" As she put the amulet around I couldn't help but to gaze into her eyes. They shimmered as the glare of the Butterflies flew around. Her hand touched my face, and I in an act of instinct put my lips on her and embraced her." I breathed heavily out and took another deep breath "Another year has passed by as the Princess and I lived in harmony. During class we would seemed like friends, but in privacy we were lovers. A commoner could not be seen in a relationship with Royal Blood. At the end of that year horror struck. The people from the Land of the South attacked our Kingdom. Me and the Princess ran for I knew that if they found her she would be killed. We ran in the refuge of one of our teachers and begged him for help. We needed a spell that would teleport us far away. He agreed but it could have serious side effects, with all his might he opened a portal. Right at the moment the building was shaking. It fell over! Then all of a sudden after all the dust has settled I stood there next to the Princess, our teacher unconscious and the portal still opened . Without warning a group of mages appeared, and took the Princess by hand. "NO!" I yelled "Natalie! Princess Natalie! Don't you dare lay a finge-" One of the mages managed to drive three daggers into my chest. I staggered back, then I remembered the trick sleeve I had with me. The Flash Cannon." I stood perfectly straight noticing the man leaning forward in interest. "The Flash Cannon was a spell that uses a great amount of Electricity. I shoots a ball of electricity from a casters arm crossed in a special way. So in that moment with my last gulps of air I manage to cross my arms and point it to the ground and casted the spell. I blacked out. When I awoke I found myself surrounded my strange lights. These were the lights of a Portal, I knew my plan worked for it pushed me and the Princess into the Portal. To my far right she was there falling, she had fainted. I put my hand out when all of a sudden a white light broke out and I found myself in a white room. Bare chested, I searched for the Princess. She was not there. Then another Portal opened up. With my knowledge of Magick I knew this was an exit. Next to the Portal was a few pieces of paper, a map and a gram telling me about the world ahead. It told me my Magick would go away, but it would slowly return. I befriended a man named Hawks, we made camp near this river to the northeast. He got sick so I put my Amulet on him hoping it would help him find the way. I fell asleep, for a long time." I cleared my throat for it was getting raspy. "I had something called a Zedlei night. For my people this only happens when one runs out of Magick. We sleep for around two to five days, our body supported by the magic that was charging around us. When I awoke I found a dead fire and Hawks gone. Next to me I found writing on a floor telling me he was heading to a Inn to the West. When I reached the Inn I met this strange old Man. For exchange of some berries he gave me some information that may leads me to Hawks. He struck me another deal, that if I could catch a Butterfly without harming it he would give me a robe. He held out a butterfly and that brought back memories of my Home. The Butterfly surrounded me and sparkled me with magick, when all the sparkles went away I found myself with this robe on me and the Old Man missing. That's when I met you and you invited me here." Few! That was a long story, must have taken a long time. I stared at the Man who only gazed at me with crafty eyes. "So umm... What's your story? Your name please to."

Well my character was raised in a world where everyone has magick, but in Rusco I have been depleted to simple magick. Like a fire spell for lighting a fire.

Hawks' Story
"Ow my head." I looked around and noticed the empty fire. "Ugh, what happened?" Right next to me I saw some writing in the floor. "Headed east along path. Map is different now, going for Inn. Come if you want" "Oh, great. Must have been a Zedlei night, I always hated Zedlei nights." Zedlei nights were special for my people. Whenever one would run out of magic to an extent they sleep for roughly three days. "Hmm Hawks must have headed east" I said as I scratched my chest. Then I noticed that my amulet was missing! Oh no I forgot I put it on Hawks. "Agh! I guess I better go find him!" I started running east taking that sharp rock that Hawk made with me. I then remembered about the satchel of food, and snatched it up. .... 3 hours of running later *huff huff* Finally *huff huff* the Inn. It seems the forest has disappeared and no there is grass, I remember passing some signs but writing in a language I could not understand. I took a moment to catch my breath and knocked on the door. The moon shining on my bareback. "Hello!!!! Anyone there?" No response. I knocked harder "HELLO!!!!!!" Off in the distance I heard someone chanting a song "Rag and Bone man! Rag and Bone man, hehehe" "Hey old man! Over here!" I manage to catch his attention. "Do you know who is in this Inn?" "Nope, but I may have some information, for a price of course." "I just have this satchel with berries and this sharp rock" "Oooh, the berries." The old man began scarfing them down. "Well old man, spit it out. Tell me what you know." "Hmm a deal is a deal then. A couple of boys went off somewhere. Something about a fort." "Was one of them wearing a funny hat?!" "I believe so." I knew immediately that this can only be Hawks he was talking about. Suddnely the Old Man interrupted my thought "Hey boy, don't you get cold without a shirt." "Never bothered me." "How bout this, I'll strike you another deal. If you can catch this Butterfly without injuring it, I will give you a robe that will keep you warm, boy" He held a sparkling Crimson Butterfly from his hand. "That's it? Too easy" I remembered how when I was young I would capture all sort of insects for my Mother. I held out my hand in front of the Old Man's and waited. The butterfly suddenly flew leaving a sparkling trail of golden dust behind, I stretched my hand hoping it would land, keeping as still as possible. "I see, very interesting, hehehe" whispered the Old Man. Then without warning the butterfly began flying fast surrounding me in dust. "Hey! Stop that!" I waved my arms as the dust began to slowly go away. The butter fly was gone but I was wearing a Crimson, old fashioned robe trimmed a golden yellow. On the back was a butterfly insignia that sparkled like the golden trim. "Wow, amazing" I said "Whats the catch Old man?" But he was gone. In the distance I heard "Rag and Bone man! Rag and Bone man! Hehehehe!" "Hmm that was odd. But now to find Hawks." I regretted not memorizing the map I tried knocking on the Inn door one more time. OOC: Is anyone in the Inn? Which way is the fort you guys ran off to?
