One second causing you to lose hours of your time. Gee, you do know this is an MMORPG right? MMORPGs are not meant to make things easy at all. What do you think Runescape is huh? MMORPGLame? If one click can make you say "AAAAAAHHH ITS TOO HARD!!!" You need to rediscover what an MMORPG is. Also, you say stop making it easy for the newbs. They make it easy for you don't they? Pest control, and etc. Then they make it harder for you, and you complain about it. I have to laugh at all the bull [cabbage] stories I see on the Runescape forums. I got one step away from the ditch and he dds spec'd me. But wait! You weren't even in the wilderness! So how did he do that? If one click makes you this angry, get some help. MMORPGs are not meant to be easy. If they were, no one would play them. You complain about making things easy for the newbs, then when they make something hard for you, you complain about them making it easier for newbs. Hypocrites. Hypocrites. Hypocrites.

The stronghold of security is good enough. I don't think there should be new quests for f2p, besides, they would be exactly like the others. Why should I pay if f2p gets updated every once in a while anyway? (Hypotheticaly speaking.)

Runescape isn't responsible for that. The people that play it are. Yes, some things in the parents guide is bogus, how ever. Do you expect Jagex to control every little thing players say? Thats imposing freedom of speech. People do what ever they can get away with on online games. The game itself is rated 13+. The game is rated, not the people. The content Jagex adds to the game is what the game is rated on. The people aren't rated. To say Runescape itself teaches players how to treat people by the ways you listed, is a completely bias opinion. The people are responsible for that, not Jagex. If the library deems it appropriate by their experiance, then so be it. If you bring the information to them, and they still deem it approrpriate, so be it. What does the wilderness have anything to do with the game being for all ages? They don't say the game is for all ages when they clearly state that it is for 13+. As for the addiction part, that is the responsability of the parent. Nothing more. Again, the players help with that. Not Runescape itself. Grand Theft Auto was designed that way, Runescape was not.

Unlikely, you could click your way to 99 in a skill that perhaps you would think would benefit you in real life. Maybe you want to be a farmer when you're older but I guarantee even if you maxed out farming you would still know absolutely nothing about the skill that is farming. Runescape is not educational, if parents wanted there child to be educated they could introduce them to a book. =D>

Runescape isn't ecucational it all, it is certain people who play it that are educational resources. Anyone who says otherwise, is selling something.

Thats a good idea. How about having in the trade window, be an extra section that says "Trades pending" or something along the lines of that. I dunno, but I support. Trading with other players succesfuly is one of the biggest aspects of an MMORPG.

I've never been hacked, I've been pass scammed (That was when I was stupid.). Lol. Its amazing why people don't get punished for sending keyloggers to computers. I've heard that the hackers now days use password generators to get into accounts.

I've been looking over the tomshardware forums and I found this post.. "Ok, for sake of argument. JaGeX is listed in the copyright list. Ok? No need to continue that. 1. JaGeX advertises to kids? I'm sorry, but we cannot ever have complete confirmation that JaGeX asked the author of that book to publish it with Scholastic inc. She wrote it, with or without their help, and had full permission to write it. We cannot know with full confirmation they even asked her to publish is with Scholastic. I cannot understand how everyone here is operating on that assumption. About the site "miniclip". Just because JaGeX has a link to their game on a website doesn't mean they are neccissarily advertising to children. Anyone can go anywhere on the Internet and say they are advertising to children. Everyone has accsess to every single web page there is. Don't go operating on that assumption either. 2.Kids under the age of 13 that lie about their age to play, are not entitled to the rights and protections that Runescape' T&C have to provide. End of story. Fact is, if they sign up without parental consent, they aren't entitled to anything and are in void of the T&C. 3.JaGeX does state that some content is not suitable to children under the age of 13. Yet parents still sign their kids up knowing about that. It is stated in the T&C and they accept that. Everyone here that has a paying Runescape account has accepted that. JaGeX has it clearly stated in their T&C. 4. The articles on Scamming on Charles site are amazing, I commend him for that. But some of the things on that site contradict what MMORPGS are. No, not true. Like Darkness11 said, you train professions, and you can have (I forgot how many characters per realm?) several different characters per realm, and with alot of different professions, I'm not here to sell anyone, bit here are a few examples. Alchemy (Not alching for money ^.^) Black Smithing, Cooking, Enchanting, Engineering, First Aid, Skinning, Tailoring, Herbalism, Jewel Crafting, and ect. There are only to proffesions per character. Its nothing like Runescape where all the skills are in one char. Thats why Runescape is #2!

The thing I liked most about this game called "Real life" is that you can feel things, and the quests never stop coming! They have really good storylines and rewards as well. JaGeX is lagging behind on those as well. -.-
