Lets count EVERYTHING else. Barb Assault. Fifteen Quests Now, lets count the latest high level update in the past year. Two. Quest capes, and new agility course/crafting item. P2P High levlels have alot of monsters to kill? Excuse me, but anyone with 43 prayer and a few prayer pots can tackle any monster. Look at how long these high level monsters have been in game. A few years. What creatures have been getting the new make overs? Not Dk's, not the Kq. But bunnies, cows, sheep, and weak level momsters. Low levels have a helluva lot. I'm not even a high level, and already I have 15 quests that I don't have to train for. Wow, look at that. High levels have alot more then huh..yeah..thats uh..interesting.

Well, I wouldn't say I gave away all my items and just stopped playing. I still get on atleast an hour a day to talk with friends. But other then that, I just stop paying.

Has anyone seen a player by the username of "Tankvet"? He stopped logging into the game for some reason. If anyone knows why, I would appreciate the info. You can just PM me the info.

I've quit already. I know I haven't done Legends or Morning Ends. But to be honest, I've had enough. When the obby cape was released, what was the point in getting a legends cape? I know I have alot to work forward to. But I just don't have the want or need too. Then my friends started quitting one by one. Dropping off like flies, Runescape just lost its flicker. About a year ago, I wouldn't have dreamed of quitting. But, now I have.

I couldn't help chuckling at this. They are too wrapped up in giving people Gym Subscriptions. Lol. Thats not true anymore. You can have atleast 55 Characters spread out onto multiple servers. Not accounts! Characters. Well yeah, they pump out more quantity than quality. Runescape can pump out a storyline in a week. Granted it will be a pretty crappy one. If thats one you mean.

I won't quote who said it due to how hilarious the first one is. 1# Isn't every MMORPG considered "Nerdy"? 2#Runescape has an excellent skill system. You won't find a skill system like that one. (Unless of course you made one) Runescape also has easy accsess. Runescape doesn't require an Nvidia chipset and 512+MB Ram. All it requires is a 56K internet connection and atleast 200+MB Ram. Talk about play ability! 3# Runescape won't make it because the die hard gamers don't want a game where all they have to do is click a mouse, they want one that challanges their reflexes. Runescape just doesn't have that. I have friends who play WoW. They will say that Runescape's gameplay is better. It is just way to difficult to compare them. One game you install on your computer. The other is a browser game. Sure they are both MMORPG'S. But you have to take a step back. Browser Vs. Harddrive. Uncomparable in my eyes. WoW does cost alot more. 10$ Extra than Runescape. But you look, the company listens to its players, it has good graphics, a guild system and alot of other things Runescape doesn't have. Like I said it is uncomparable in my eyes.

Runescape is already laughed about when the word is even spoken in public. It would get laughed out of the box office to tell you the truth. MMORPG becoming a movie. Is kinda...strange. I would think. Good idea, but not do able.

JaGeX won't rise with the players, they will continue to advertise to the younger crowd. Why would they move up with them as they get older?

Ok, thank you for clearing that up. There are some posts a few pages back that set me off. Sorry about that. I have found that I only get on Runescape to chat with friends now. As it is now probably comparable with Habbo Hotel as far as chatting goes. I am tired of the game being dumbed down as well. Alot of other games I play have followed that course. Really making me mad. "You are entering the Warzone" "Are you sure you want to?" "Still sure?" "Are you STILL SURE??" Is that your final answer? Is that your FINAL answer?? Is that your FINAL ANSWER??? Are you SURE??? Reminds me of Windows Vista. "Are you sure you want to allow this? ARE YOU STILL SURE???? Lol. Lets see, does anyone see JaGeX changing in the next six months? I don't have any hopes.

Now JaGeX has to go and nerf the barrelchest anchor and make it cost 700k to buy. Then they make it so that when you die with it, it becomes 220k. Now, why didn't they do that to the fremmy helm and the Granite Plate? (Off topic) It was never against the rules to play under the age of 13. You just need parental consent to do so. Which I am sure very few of these kids do. I am 13, and alot of people have respect for me. Stop stereotyping kids my age and below. Not all of us are stupid. You have no idea what it feels like to be constantly stereotyped like this. Alot of kids I know watch alot of TV shows that, well, I was never allowed to watch and never watch to this very day. Those TV shows teach those kids how to act like fools. Now, then they're friends start acting out, and guess what. So do they. Then they all start acting out in Runescape and what do we have? Immature players. Please, stop stereotyping kids my age and below, we aren't all fools.

Ah..this argument is really really stupid. Your right, JaGeX can do what ever they please with Runescape. Which would you rather have, players that don't voice their opinions when an update comes out with (Kiddie show character name here) and just quit because of it? Or players that have constructive critisism and rant about it and suggest a fix. Us here do not just say "It Stinks I didn't like it, fix it. " We say "It Stinks and I didn't like it, but you could do it like this." The latter is what we are doing. We aren't sitting here talking with our fingers just pointlessly saying this is not good JaGeX you figure out a way to fix it. We do that, they just don't listen. I stopped posting rants because I might as well just try to scream through sound proof glass. Point being, JaGeX has not listened to us, neither do I see them ever going to listen to us. The only way they will change anything is if Andrew Or Paul catch wind of it. The rest is a buerocratic mess. Its easy to figure out.

Sorry if I came on like I was making excuses for Jagex. EDIT: I would like to ask you how you thought I was saying because people are stupid that Jagex should keep luring legal? A misunderstanding. Thank you for clearing that up. I can never find a replacement for Runescape. Never, there are so many more skills there than on other games. I guess we just play other games until they start making the right decisions.

I don't think that would be a good idea. Random people would come in and start saying stupid things and spamming alot. Making the protesters look like idiots. The only reason JaGeX changed Rule 7 (Now they changed it back.) was because the protests spilled over into F2P. Alot of players who are fed up with this are using alternite resources. I already know we cannot suggest anything that prevents luring from happening in the suggestions forum. (I would know..they perm banned me from them.) We have been contacting various groups of people whom would be interested in this subject. There are people who are members of Non Runescape Related websites that are publishing articles about this. The only way around this situation is through outside resources. That is the only alternative I can see. (Lol, Ginger, I just saw someone with a username of Ginger Hero. Lol)

Well, considering I heard several insturments drop notes on the music, and alot of the instruments are flat, alot of songs are now slower. I don't think it was worth they're time to be honest.

I agree with the part in the article about Luring. As I am one of the players using outside sources to..well..lets not go into it. With the stat sigs taking up bandwidth. It is JaGeX' bandwidth. Not yours. They have every right to say what can use it. They pay for it. So they decide what uses it. With the babying of players, I agree. "We have to have all these warnings." "Hey! Since we have all these warnings, why do we need to punish people any more?" "Say, that is a bright Idea!" Next thing you know, item scamming will be legal because of all the warnings they have. "We can't punish our gamers, we will lose money if we do." I have seen recently that JaGeX really cares about the statistics of how many new members sign up every day. You know, there is a Guide to Runescape book by Tracey West, she had the help of Andrew and Paul to say that Runescape is a family safe enviroment. Well, with what has been going on, I would disagree with that. Even Dr. Simon Bradford and Nic Crowe who wrote this article (See URL)Runescape Article Have been interviewed on Radio 4 about Runescape, and Dr. Bradford mentioned Luring. Radio 4 Interview I have contacted Dr. Bradford with that issue and he brought it up on that radio program. Maybe JaGeX heard and are thinking about changing they're minds. Or maybe they are going to stand firm, and ignore it. Only time will tell. Edit: With the 3rd party sofware being illegal. JaGeX should support it..not make it illegal because one of their players thought of it first and developed it first.

I dont particularly support luring but people who allow themselves to be exploited are always going to be exploited. People who are lured deserve to get lured and people who lure deserve to be reported-simple as. Where on the Runescape site do you see JaGeX go into the definition of Luring? No where. There is a bug, that allows a Lurer to get a person into level 5 wilderness without the Wilderness sign coming up! So that is being exploited? All you have to do is follow the person, and you can be dragged into level 5 wilderness without the sign coming up. That doesn't even involve trading, people have reported this bug to JaGeX over two years ago, and now people are using it to scam each other. I would go into further detail, but that would give potential lurers ideas, and I don't want to be the instigater of that.
