or curse. buy an earth staff, some body runes, 2x as many water runes, get to 19 magic, get full armor(platebody, legs, full helm, kite), and cast curse on a monster that cant hurt you. you get the magic xp, but the spell will usally fail, so you can keep casting it. i think it averages out to about 1xp for every 2gp.

well it wasnt really coincidence, i was just close...so i guess it was. :oops: . and i mined allmost all of my xp in mining guild, so it was so close to fally east bank i never ran so it didnt matter what i wore. and thats why i bought zammy anyway. to be hawt in it. anyways mucho gracias to yall.

hey yall. im fatdog 16, been playing idk mebbe 3 years, but only sporadicly until 6-8 months ago. anyway, i saw someone's post in here about what he did on 7-7-07, and i thought, wow, i only need 37k more xp till 70 mining, wouldnt that be cool to get it on 7-7-07(get it? :XD:) . so i tried out some powermining at al-karid, and finished it off where i got 59-69 mining-the mining guild. so, on to the pictures. 70 mining!!!! pic of everything ive made in my quest for 70 mining(from 40something)(everything in inventory+full zammy im wearing) [/img] my awesome outfit and...the fat lady has sung.

yeah the only the antifire pot and the antifire shield make you completely safe from dragonfire.

yeah i saw that yesterday when i went to go range mossies. that acutally makes it a perfect safespot for rangers/mages.

you have to get to the island first using the ship, and then you can go down and find the secret door, after that you can use it at any time, and there are moss giants, hobgoblins, lesser demons, skeletons, and king scorpions. i dont think any of them can attack you if you mine there, but the mossies can if you mine on the wrong side.

well have you done both the quests? and if you have, the d scimmy special is only good for pking, so the baxe has a better special, but the scimmy is better overall.

you will need 223 iron darts to get to 53 smithing.

you get them from the temple trekking minigame. and unless they changed it, i think they only give about a 1-2 xp bonus per log for the whole set.

yeah, i agree. i remeber the first time i got an addy weapon. my favorite weapon has always been the baxe, and i saw an addy one in a store, and it was like 4.5k :shock: . so i killed men for a couple months, and then, when i finally had enough money, waited around in the baxe shop for 3 hrs waiting for it to respawn.(didnt really know about trading then). i was sooo happy when i got it, and just went out and owned some theives. but yeah, im still ftp, but once you realize "wow, i got rune. its cool and all but...is this it???." then you get a mil, and you realize you can buy 5-6 rune sets. i still <3 rs, but i miss that sense of wonder and amazement i got from seeing green dhide, or rune 2h, or lvl 80 players.

are there any permanant fires to cook on like the one in barb village, but close to a bank in FTP?

no, because fletching, cooking, smithing, firemaking, ect are "secondary" skills in which you take what you got from another skill: smithing-mining, cooking-fishing, fletching/firemaking-woodcutting, ect. those are buyable because you can just buy the materials from another player and gain levels alot faster that the "non-buyable" skills, such as fishing.

if you can get into the mining guild, it has alot of coal and 5 mith. depending on your mining lvl and the number of people mining coal/mith, either one could be faster, but i would think coal would be faster and 1 mith(350-500 i think) is cheaper than 4 coal(600-800). also, you need 55 smithing, not 45 smithing, to smith mith arrowheads.

they are usally highest around halloween, for obivous reasons. i dont know how high they would go however.
