A long time ago there was an infomercial about an abdominal exercises machine, and people that didn't use it would be shown in black and white, almost breaking their backs trying to exercise for real. Not to mention they'd as well have thousands of tapes about exercises completely unororganized in an unreachable cupboard that would fall on them every time they opened it.

Pachelbel's canon on guitar is just awesome Oy! Thanks for that! I have been trying to get into classical music lately, but didn't know where to start from, besides some Beethoven. This thread might help me. :) Steve Vai plays a nice version, more like an adaptation, of Beethoven's Ode to Joy on his album Passion and Warfare.

Deep Purple - Lazy. By the way, they don't sing it, they play it.

They are kinda good, they've got skill too. But I feel that they lack a little bit creativity, not sure why. Also, their vocalist voice reminds me of a britpop singer's. They aren't the best prog rock band ever.

I bought this one a few days ago, and it's a 2005 album, so it's recent. :) Wolfmother - Wolfmother This album really sounds like 70s hard rock: raw, with nice riffs and a strong drum beat. But these aussies mix those very hard moments with some quite melodic ones as well, creating some nice transitions. My favorite songs are Joker and The Thief, Dimension and Mind's Eye, but all the songs on the album are very good. If you want to listen to new oldschool hard rock, get this album.
