  1. How come was I sure it was going to happen?
  2. Just found this flash... Tip.it could display it to it's users  http://www.albinoblacksheep.com/flash/posting.php And remember, safe posting or no posting
  3. You don't mean enough explosions to make the Earth a floating marble incapable of supporting life eight times then? Because my point is that it's unecessary to destroy it 8 times. The amount needed to destroy it once, for each country is enough
  4. That's the definition I'm considering, LP. Money for nothing riff, by Dire Straits is also great :)
  5. Two words: Mutual Assurance. It saved us from war. K, then 2 times what would be enough to destroy the world. Half to US and half to USSR. But 8 times is a complete waste.
  6. Right now I think I'm smelling chocolate...just ate 1/4 easter egg  It's not that easy to notice your own smell though
  7. What a waste! Wouldn't destroying the world once be enough? I suppose US and USSR were just trying to prove who's the daddy
  8. Those are really cheap BTTF! iTunes rips us off -.-
  9. Granted, you will be making the money but will you actually have a fun and interesting life? There is fun in making money (and on spending it :D ).
  10. Like Tan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan dan daaaaaaaan? :P
  11. His riffs and solos are really amazing :) I was gonna add Lazy to my list, but I thought there was no actual riff on it. Is there one? I mean, it has like 5 minutes of "solo", what part is the riff?
  12. You make it seem that metal is an insult, i happen to think thats a pro. I guess thats your opinion and you are entitled to it, just seems a bit baseless to me. Actually I think Lageris means metal is a pro. The insult is this song isn't metal, according to him. Too bad I can't download it, will be listening to it as soon as I get home though.
  13. Where I live, you can get about 22%/year interest rate from your bank for a decent amount of money. Taking off inflation it'd be about 11% profit/year :) First I'd convert it to R$, it would be about 3mill. I'd get myself a CDs collection, a great comp with dual monitors, and a good sound system, as well as a big TV and some random stuff. That would be R$50k tops. I still don't need a car or a house for my own, so I'd just invest everything else in stocks I'd watch closely and on a bank account. I'd go to the college with a nice amount of money, start some business and become a billionaire by the time I'm 29.
  14. This guy has no idea of what's he's talking about.
  15. In his situation, I'd feel, for sure, much more than a "funny feeling in my gut". Nice read, thanks Barihawk :)
  16. Yeah, you're an example for us all Bubsa.
  17. Add Dire Straits to the list :)
  18. The only thing that bothers me about them is that any 10 year older you find will think he's cooler than you. When I was 10 years old, I used to respect the older "teens".
  19. LP, isn't Wild Thing Troggs'? How could I forget Cocaine :P
  20. Let's discuss about riffs and riffers, people :D All those pieces of a song everyone knows, even without knowing the name of the song or the band that plays it. Those are problably the most famous sounds we ever created. My list on greatest/most famous would be: 1)Deep Purple's Smoke on the Water 2)Led Zeppelin's Black Dog 3)Eric Clapton's Layla 4)Guns N' Roses' November Rain 5)The Who's Pinball Wizard 6)Many Led Zeppelin songs, like Fool in the Rain, Hearbraker and Houses of the Holy In my opinion, Jimmy Page is by far the greatest riff maker, since so many Led Zeppelin songs have famous riffs. So, what are, in your opinion, the greatest/most famous riffs, and the best riff makers?
  21. When you listen to Pink Floyd on an iPod without paying proper attention, you'll even think the ending of Time has the same lyrics as Speak To Me/Breathe.
  22. I found it's discovery mode much better than last.fm's one. But maybe that's just for the kind of music I listen to.
  23. If what you want is find more bands that play similar music to the ones you like, it's great. Thanks for the tip Necro :)
  24. How could I forget Ritchie Blackmore when I did my previous list? Add him in the top 10 :) (just listen to lazy and you'll understand)
