I've read an interview from an african diplomat, and he actually stated all the help given by richer nations and UN just makes Africa more and more undeveloped. That's because when the food/supplys arrive there, they are either stolen by the rulers of the country and sold (wich just makes the elite richer) or, if they go to the poor population, that needs the food, they aren't THAT helpful. However, as there are always donations coming from foreign countries, governments and local associations just don't have to bother creating conditions for developing Africa on their on, they just keep expecting more help. That keeps Africa poor and dependent. So, I think that GM food, if used by UN to "feed Africa", would just prolong the continent's undevelopment (what may be really convenient for the richer countries governments...).

Great, those recommendations encourage me :D I downloaded today the Smoke on the Water Live in Japan Osaka version...it's just amazing :shock: Only problem is gonna be the price...It's about R$ 160,00 (wich represents about 70 dollars :?), while I paid about 15 dollars for the 30: collection. Some japanese robot developers came over my school to promote their (Sony's) cute little robot, Qrio, and it was like: huayhjremt-pormentay-qrio-wassa. Age of Empires II with or without Conquerors expansion (AoE III blows) Civilization III (HIGHLY addictive, one of the greatest games ever in my opinion. I just can't get to like Civ 4) GTA 2 GTA 3 (Compared to the other games avaliable when it was launched, it was amazing, and still is, even tough SA owns it) GTA San Andreas Sim City 2k (3k and 4 are much worse than 2k, Sim Citys got much more childish with the new versions) Battlefield 1942 and Vietnam (I don't like Battlfield 2...) Need for Speed Porsche and Most Wanted Lemmings (who remembers that??) Rollercoaster Tycoon (Daaaang, I played that so much!) I think that's it :)
