You did not really tell him what he should get, you pretty much suggested the two main CPU companies, and the two main video card companies, and a few basic specs.... I posted what would be a good configuration to run some heavier software, sorry, I'm not an expert like you...but he seems to be even less than me.

It's actually really awesome. You don't notice it to tell you the truth. I've read it's the same resolution as a normal TV :shock: You play videos on nano? I really wanna find out more about that.

Pballer, don't say Intel sucks...I use Intel and I'm happy with it. Was your last Intel processor a Pentium MMX 200Mhz? In your opinion what matters now then? Oh, and from what I know, AMD processors get overheated, wich makes them last less than similar ones.

It looks really neat! That shading you are using really looks like the kind I use, it shows the shape, not the shadows, I like it, but if I'm saying your shading looks like mine you should really improve it :P I agree with DH on the green thing, make it a tad bit "dirtier" and darker. I as well agree with Lowgravit on the shield. Keep it up :)

Then you managed to find out what's your pc... I think that is a bit slow for Win XP, myself, my comp is a Pentium 4 with 2.8 Ghz, 512Mb RAM, it runs very fine everything I need it to run. About your questions: AMD Duronprocessor (* is that?) is obviously your processor, and 256Mb RAM is your memory. What applications do you use? If you just use your comp to play runescape and browse forums it is fine, but if you want to play the heaviest games and heavy graphics programs, while doing a bunch of stuff, I'd recommend a Pentium 4 processor or a good version of AMD Athlon and 512Mb or 1Gb RAM. If you are gonna use heavy software, again, you should get a graphics card, ATi Radeon or Nvidia GeForce are both ok, I recomend 128 or 256Mb on your video card. Again, it all depends on what you use your computer for, tell us and we'll give more accurate advice.

First, go to control panel and set exibition mode to "classic" or "standard"or something like that. Now that should work. Oh, I'd trust that link Spling gave you :wink:

Go control panel, system, on the first tab it will say whats your processor, on the fourth tab it will say what's your RAM. If you want to find out what's your video card, left-click anywhere your screen, properties, to the tab configuration, click advanced and see :) Ta-dan.

Ooh, I really like the cd-burning part. I usually dowload some stuff, brose like 7 Firefox tabs, and use some graphics (PS 9) programs at once, if I could burn my CDs while I do that, it would be fantastic :) Currently I have a Pentium 4, and I'm happy with it, but when it gets slow I may get a Dual Core, as it's bullocks that it messes up threads of older software :) Thanks for the support people :D

Yeah I've seen that :P The only problem is that it won't accept compressed videos, then it's like 2Gbs per hour of video :lol: But I still find it kinda crazy to run linux in a mp3 player, whats the original OS that comes with iPod?

That post corresponds to my opinions on runescape players and tip.it general rs community :lol: Back on topic: I have a black iPod nano, and I love totally it, not like I dance while listening to it at the street... And come on, what can be more nice looking than a BLACK iPod??? It's that what holds people's minds and wallets on iPods, their design is perfect, it's one of the most beautiful objects ever *mass*-produced by man, and it aswell has a function, it gives me nice music where ever I am! It's not like a sculpture that is there just for looks :P

Is it lcd? Sometimes when I shake my display it gets a purple shade on one side, but it ocasionally wares off. May be the same situation with yours :wink:

In my country it's impossible yo "buy" an island, you can only pay to the government to get the "rights of use" on it, teorically, it still belongs to the government. I think it would only be possible to create a country on international waters (again, where I live its 200 nautic miles from the shore), but, who would you buy the island from? UN? It's quite complicated, however, if you want to have no laws persuiting you, get a boat and takes yours hookers to the middle of the Atlantic Ocean, on the international waters. :lol:
