I don't know if you'll agree, but in my opinion, merchanting is the only Rs "skill" that, alone, keeps some people playing. There's one kind of player, wich today is very representative, that plays Rs just to merchant (i'm not talking just about the rare merchanting though). There are people who play to pk, to get high skills and the ones that want great amounts of money, wich are now merchanting. If jagex get rid of rares, they will lose too many costumers. Now, back to your idea: You say they will be sold by a shop, this way, how come you think they will remain rares? The definition of rare is something that can no longer be obtained, wich has a decreasing amount. I think there should be a limit amount on how many could be sold by the store, maybe an amount that equals to the phats players sold to it? Even though I don't think it's gonna be implemented, it's the best structured idea I ever heard about the end of rares.

Thanks for the c/c guys, how you think I should add texture to the hair? Just fixed the ammy, and drawn freehand the dead dragon ( :lol: ), scanning it now to make the linework :) I still need more replyes :P

Excellent post, I specially like it because it justifyes itself why I quit Runescape so soon (after playing from the last weeks of classic to about sept. this year). Jagex made this game too much "plastic", too much artificial, not as a rpg is supposed to be. There are no unique-super-expensive-only-for-the-best items, any newb can achieve amazing stuff, such as teleportation and there's no stability, you never know if you should buy an item, you can't trust the Economy. I never thought about the dragon armor issue through those lens, but it's really clear now: Jagex wants to make it cheap enough to pk (maybe about 4m per set would be reasonable?), but people don't know, because of it's "mystic", if it is supposed to be an unique armor, wich runescape needs.

Here is the WIP: **UPDATED** Non-shaded ground and sky added, dragon finished :) Updated again! Added a decent dragon, began adding the hills, ground, sky and the monastery over the mountains (lol). :) I also changed the idea on the sig, I'm gonna write something like: "Why kill dragons...If you can just play (:twisted:) with them?" It's nicer and funnier now IMO:P FINAL UPDATE: How about it now? C/c and rating are more welcome than ever! :D Seriously, can you people post?? I got replyes only from like 4 guys in over 300 views! :(

Commenting your work is useless... All you do is defend it, you take no critics. Remeber when I was telling you not to make pixels in wich chars doesn't look like a flat paper leaf? That draw has no porportions and has only 2 dimensions, you have a big problem with their position as well, you put them in the draw in a way only if you were a great drawer you'd manage to make them more realistic (3d if you will).

Of course the idea is good, however, there are loads of just as good, or even better ideas that haven't been implemented yet. This way, I hope Jagex doesn't skip those to put yours into the game :wink:

Duh...Mr. Mod, of course Nadril is still registered :? Hera, I remember you! You had a sig with an aureole over the "A" didn't you? I was gone for a while as well, sad to hear Nadril is gone, I still use Stone beast as my wallpaper :(
