  1. It would be easy to make the numbers fit in the window available. It's not up to me to make the little decisions about how many skills per row, or font size, or image size of the skill icon or all the nonsense. That's JaGeX's job. And to make all of our skills fit in one window without a frickin scrollbar should NOT be that hard to do. I'm just saying that in this year they really really should fix that annoyance.
  2. Certainly in RS getting to a high-level just takes TIME. And if you want to spend less time, just be more EFFICIENT. If a person dedicates that much time and effort to RS does that make them a nerd? I dunno, seems more like a rhetorical question. Nerd denotes some sort of anti-social meaning. Where-as RS is quite the social game due to it being an MMORPG. Will be interesting what others think.
  3. I read through most of it. I was a little disappointed to not see: "Fix the skills page in-game to not have a scrollbar." Was that in there? Because if not, that's a huge obvious fix. And honestly I'll be very disappointed if this "year of fixes" passes without that being corrected. Anyways, there is a lot of junk requests in there that are really not necessary. It's more of a wish-list for low/mid level characters in my humble opinion. Just my 2 cents...
  4. Nicely done Campy!!! \ Grats on your newest 99s! ^ Sums it up nicely. PS: Oh, and I love the hat, you keeping it long-term I hope?
  5. Impressive achievement Toast! Love the 99, love the cape, nothing but love here for you today. Sorry that I wasn't on to hoot and hollar for ya. Here ya go... glow3: Woot! Congratulations on 99 Farming Toats! ~End User~ Now how about some 99 woodcut? :P
  6. I've been watching this thread with interest today. I have both the lvl 3 fremmy boots and 99 con. Last night I was playing some online Left4Dead instead of my usual RS. As I logged in late to update GE offers I was told by friends on IRC about this "bug". As they were unable to test it, I did some running and made 5 magic cape racks to start with. Sure enough made about 25k each on them. After that I went and did two runs of 25 just to make a bit of $ before I went to bed. I was sure that they were going to nerf it quick seeing as it was very good money and very good con xp. If this wasn't fixed before the weekend it would've been used (abused) by as many as possible, so it's probably good that they took care of it before then.
  7. Dang, where'd that care meter go, that was epic. Nice stoof Campy! :) AWESOME job getting 2100! 2200 next!
  8. I've experienced this as well. Mostly with high-level beasts like mith dragons and stuff.
  9. Wish I were home instead of at work, still it's fun to read everyone's progress and updates. I still need to kill Bork before my requirements are complete. Always thought that was optional. :P It's interesting that the Rune Claws show a special attack on the Knowledge Base, but the Dragon Claws do NOT. Curious. Love the idea of Dragon Platebody, hope I can repair some for friends. :)
  10. Oh, thanks, I forgot to update my siggy. After 99 summon, but before 99 con I finished off the quests. :) Can't wait for the new big one...next week?! Talismans? You mean I don't lose enough GPs doing ZMI? Why u hatin' on my cash pile? What she said. TROLLS! Wat, no rate?! What she said. Fixed it. :twss: Ty sir! :)
  11. Hi Tip It. :) I don't post alot here, but I lurk alot. I wanted to finally share a size-able enough accomplishment that I'm pretty happy with. About 3 weeks ago I finished off Summoning. And earlier this week I completed Construction. These are the most recent casualties of my character's 4 and a half years of Runescape 'life'. Here's some pics! ~99 Summoning~ ~99 Construction~ I know this has been beaten to death in other threads, but in case anyone asks how I do Rock Lobs here's a short vid. (By the way I got most of my charms while getting 99 Slayer, but then finished off charm gathering there at Rock Lobs.) So what's next...? With these two skills finished I have completed all the "Buyable" skills, and now comes the real grind. I probably will continue to chip away at the gathering skills. The only one I could really power-train would be Thieving at Pyramid Plunder. I've been playing that new mini-game ALOT though, it's just way too much fun...haha. Well, that's all for now. Thanks for reading, and humoring me. :) Rate away! End__User PS: A little shout out to the #Tip-It IRC crew! You guys are a riot. Especially Toast, Campy, Shey, and Riyyon! :D
  12. Nice drop, Toast! Couldn't have happened to a better guy. :) (Oh wait, it could've...) Cursed_Toast lost our little race though, you fail. :P
  13. Nicely done, Hev! Grats on the 99, enjoy the cape. :)
  14. And there-in lies my little issue with all this. I honestly don't have any problem with merchanting via the GE. I just know that threads like this are tempting for many folks with a cash pile around or over 100m to jump in and buy these items. But there is huge potention for LOSS here, not gain, in my opinion. There are those who drive these prices and there is everyone else who is one step behind them. This is just a word of warning to those aspiring merchanters who aren't in a clan or irc or some other group which buy/sell en-masse. Be careful.
  15. I used a Morphic hammer tool for some construction over the weekend. I'm making mahogany tables (6 planks each table). Each charge with the tool makes 100 tables (not 100 planks) which is quite useful. Mahogany planks standardly give 140 xp each. With morphic hammer they give 143.833 xp each. It's not like that's alot of bonus xp, but honestly free is free, right? And when you only need one tool for every 6,000 planks (using tables), it's not like the inconvenience is a bother. So there's my testing feedback.
