  1. Good luck. You're right where I am in the long stretch... Or nearby. Hope you stay sane! ~Ops
  2. Very nice blog. Great organization. Congratulations on 85 fishing. Good luck in the future. :D
  3. Why thank you very much. Just finishing stringing around 600 yew longbows for 85 fletching, then I am on my way to buying a dragon axe and to start cutting. :D EDIT: 85 Fletching, yay!
  4. Welcome to OperatorÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Blog to 99 Woodcutting! [hide=Real Life Background] Hello, my name is Tony and I am 15 years old, male, and reside in the State of Washington of the United States of America. I am in 10th grade and go to a fairly new high school, where I get grades that would classify myself as very nerdy. However, I am far from that, being involved in basketball, football, baseball, cross-country, and many other physical activites. I love to read, hang out with friends, play all video-game consoles, and listen to music (Static-X, Tool, Korn, Pink Floyd). If you want to know more about me, just ask![/hide] [hide=Runescape Background] I have been playing Runescape for about 1 ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâý years. I am not sure if my stats are poor and great considering how long my career has been. I played on a different account for about 8 months, but then created a Operator due to a dream of being a pure woodcutter (which ended soon after I reached 63 woodcutting). I quit twice during the 1 ÃÆââ¬Å¡Ãâý years I have been playing, each period 2 months long. I love: Woodcutting Firemaking Fletching Hunting Conversing I hate: Runecrafting Construction Questing [/hide] [hide=Starting Statistics] Click Here for my Newbie Stats[/hide] [hide=Current Statistics] [/hide] [hide=Progress] [/hide] Log Tracker My log tracker is hard to use, seeing as I am cutting at Barbarian Outpost, and they only have a deposit box, so I have no clue how many logs I am cutting. After I reach 90 woodcutting, I'll move to seers or draynor to calculate exact quantities. Will not be using the template below until 90 woodcutting. Date: 8/14/07 Willows Cut: 3.5k Total Willows: 13.5k Bird's Nest Count:72 Total Willow Count Note: Because my primary focus at the moment is woodcutting, I doubt there will be any level up screenies in other skills besides woodcutting. [/hide] [hide=Bank Screenie] Not the best bank. I know it doesn't have any rares, or valuable items. This screenie is only a portion of my bank, the portion that is organized. So there is still more items, just not pictured. I will get a better screenie later. Bank Screenie Here[/hide] [hide=Current Outfit] [/hide] [hide=Sightings] Neversoft5. If you want to know, he is ranked 3 in woodcutting. I was cutting with him for a while, just thinking he was another 99 wanting to gain higher rank. Noticed he wasn't talking much, decided to look him up, and bam, ranked 3rd. I was like, holy cow! Screenie! :D [/hide] [hide=Donations] None at the moment. However, if you have the heart to give me something, I will greatly appreciate it and post a screenie of the trade in this section so that everyone knows of your generosity. [/hide] FriendÃÆââââ¬Å¡Ã¬Ã¢ââ¬Å¾Ã¢s Blogs da_5k83r8o1 (99 fletching) Chocslice (99 Woodcutting) Final Comments I would like to thank Da 5k83r8o1 for giving me the courage to make this blog, and you for taking the time to view my blog. Please show at least some support by posting a reply with a good luck or something along those lines. Woodcutting can be very boring, and I need all the boost I can get. Sincerely, Operator280
  5. Nice slayer levels! I get that urge too to suddenly do another skill because the skill I am doing at the moment is boring me to death. Trip was great. Though, the constant zipping and biting of bugs was a major downfall. Still, it didn't hinder the excitement of being out in the wild. :P Eesh. Lots of money, but it is probably worth it. :P Glad to hear it was all worked out. The picture at the top of the blog is a nice touch. (Though I still haven't found out what "hty" means). I see you might be after that quest cape, as well. If you are, good luck with that. I, personally, can't stand quests, and have a meager 54 quest points. :( Congrats on 1500+ total! And very nice bank screenie. Lots of organization. I see that you cash went down quite a bit! :P Was it buying all those farming supplies? Last of all, Good luck and see you ingame. Keep me updated! :D
  6. Back. And sorry to hear about you computer problems. I would write a longer message, and I will probably do so within the next few days, cause I am busy right now. But gratz on the farming goal. Good luck. And a w00t for 92 fletching. See ya around.
  7. I am just wondering, since runecrafting in the abyss is a bit hard for me, what is your outfit for runecrafting? And, I am likely not to have high enough levels to wear all what you wear. I only have 47 range, so I won't be able to wear any members d-hide. Any suggestions. Many thanks. ~Ops
  8. Another question, if you don't mind answering. I see that you cut 8000 maples. May I ask why you did this/ what you did with them? Thanks. And Happy Fletching. EDIT: I am hopping into my motorhome and going on a trip for the week, maybe more. But I hope to come back to see you with around 94-95+ fletching! Good luck.
  9. A question for the 2k Magic Longbows. I am guessing you cut and fletched those for the money for the dragon woodcutting axe? Or did you already have it during your quest for 99 woodcutting? Thanks for the add, by the way. :D
  10. Congratulations on 99 woodcutting and 91 fletching. Some very honourable goals there. I have a question, seeing as my goals are very similar but you are much closer to them. :P I notice you are fletching willow longs (u). Where do you get the money to buy all those willows, or did you cut them and save them while going for 99 woodcutting? Again, good luck on 99 Fletching. If you ever need anyone to talk to while fletching, I am sitting in Catherby cutting my life away. :P RSN: Operator280 By the way, very nice blog. It has great organization. :D EDIT: Bank Rating: I might not be a genius at bank rating, but I would have to say: Organization: 9.5/10 (Near the end, a bit sloppy :P) Value: 8/10 (Value isn't everything though. Lots of raw materials is good.)
  11. Good luck. Hopefully you are still human after all of that stringing. :P
  12. Good luck. Burning willows takes lots of patience, but you seem to survive. :P Hope you reach 99 soon! ~Op
  13. Greetings, Good luck on your 99 woodcutting goal. I will make sure to stop by and woodcut with you. My goal is a bit different. More of a amount goal. Anyways, hope you stay human! See you around!
  14. Same goal as I. And at the moment, we have the same fletching level! Best of luck to you. And also, getting those level up screenies will acquire you more posts. ;) And I want to see them, too.
  15. Good luck sir! I am going for 99 fletching as well, but I don't think I am as organized as you. It will be my first 99, too. Keep it up, and if you are going to have a small 99 party, add me and I'll come! :D
  16. I would have to say that steel plates are the best smithing thing to alch, if and only if you mine the coal and iron yourself. Plus, you get the max exp. with a steel plate for steel smithing. As to your other question, yew longs are a very good thing to high alch, but to do this succesfully, you would have to be a member and fletch your own. But we are talking ftp here. ;) Go with steel plates. I made around 300 of them as a ftp but i mined 1500 iron and 3000 coal. That took a long time. My 2 cents.
  17. What is your take on the sudden rise of yew price? I find myself in the markets, seeing people saying, "Buying yews, 350 each." Last time I remember, yews were around 300-310 each. Macroers, according to most people, are increasing, and therefore decreasing the yew price. But why is the yew price increasing then? To whom do the macroers sell the yews? Why are we seeing a decrease in yew availability, when more and more macroers/"foreign people who don't know how to play the game correctly" are increasing? Anyone care to elucidate, or give their opinion?
  18. I had full shade when I first started playing runescape. Got it from drops from shades, of course, all as an ftp.
  19. I think that would be farming, sir. :P
  20. Why would you string willow longs? That's just idiotic. Buy willows 30 ea and cut them into willow longbows (u) then sell to general store and make most of your money back to buy more willow logs with. I agree. Stringing your willow longbows is just a waste of time and money. I know stringing gives experience, but it isn't worth it, because no one these days are alching willow longbows, let alone buying them. Cut willow longs and leave them unstrung until you can cut yew longs. There is where the money is made.
