  1. What do you think would be a good skill for me to get a 99 in? I'm debating about Rcing and Range, I don't want one of the generic 99s like Fletching, Cooking, or Firemaking.
  2. I don't mind cutting yews as long as I always have something to do, I like checking the forums for good deals on raw materials or items that I need. I also like to listen to music and watch videos on the internet. It's just a matter of being patient and overcoming boredom while cutting yews.
  3. What do you think are some good quests to do? The quests that i'm planning on doing after becoming P2P (after some skill training) are: Enlightened Journey (making laws using balloon system) Plague City Biohazard Underground Pass Regicide Family Crest Fremmy Trails Rolving Elves Hero's Lost City Gnome Village The Grand Tree Monkey Madness Priest in Peril Nature Spirt Animal Magnetism
  4. Willows are by far the fastest, Mages are the best money maker, so I would say Yews are middle ground.
  5. I want to know what you skill(s) you guys think I should train (on my noob) before becoming P2P. I am planning on working on combat stats after becoming P2P using PC and slayer tasks. I'm running on a 1m budget. Thanks in advance for your advice CBlvl: 70
  6. Curse is the way to go
  7. I think you might have misread his post :D. He just asked if it was better to be able to wield your axe rather then not wield it (i'm assuming rather to get attack lvl up or not) when going for 99 wcing
  8. I would definately go for weilded axe, that one log each trip adds up to be hundreds of extra trips!
  9. Honestly I would cut willows, they might not be as good xp per log, but they are faster to cut and the trees spawn faster. Willows are the best wc xp period.
  10. ice giants are very good! You get great xp, plus good pray xp. There are several safe spots at ice caves. It's not often crowded and you can make some good money (I made 70k on my last trip).
  11. I never said that Dragon was the best armor in the game, I'm just saying that it's better for long term training imo. You don't have to waste money fixing it whenever it decays.
  12. Honestly I think that full dragon with whip, you could replace whip with d scimmy or long if you wanted to train str. I think that full dragon would be best considering that it won't degrade, therefore, you won't have to spend money reparing it.
  13. Willows all the way!
  14. I want 63 so that when I do become mem I'll already have it at 63 and not have worry about it, but thanks everyone for their input
  15. Sorry to burst your bubble but I'm f2p, Coifs are members only. But other then that those are good suggestions.
  16. What is the most cost effective way to lvl up crafting up to 63? I know that leather hard bodies are fast but I don't know if i'm willing to put down that kind of money. If you guys have any alternate suggestions please le me know. (I'm f2p btw)
  17. I started when I was lvl 60, but that was before all of the macroners, but I would say that it really doesn't matter, your wcing lvl doesn't affect the speed at which you cut logs all that much if at all. Honestly I don't mind the speed of yews, after cutting mages for 3 months yews will seem like willows!
  18. For mage I would actually suggest using curse on the mage of zammorack on the first floor of varrock castle. Make sure you wear you're best melee armor too.
  19. The lowest i've seen with a HP cape is lvl 99
  20. Green Dragon Body's can be profitable, the hard thing is to buy bulks of them off other F2P players
  21. Lessers are horrible xp! The only time that lessers are good xp is when you've reached cb lvl 100+. You can't really stay down there long enough for you to be very effective. I would suggest that you fight moss giants, maybe on crandor island and then fish and cook your food. Hob Goblins can be very good xp. Either in the edgeville dungeon or on the pennisula by the crafting guild.
  22. Honestly there is no fast way to lvl up wcing, the best way to lvl it up is to just commit to yourself to wcing. The best place to cut willows without a crowd is either north of the crafting guild or south of rimmington. I would then suggest you sell the logs to the store or make fires out of them. A downside to the two places that I mentioned previously is that it gets very lonely. Personally I'm a lone ranger when it comes to raising skills, so it doesn't really affect me, but I would suggest that you bring a friend or make sure you have something to do so you won't get bored. I like to look at the forums for good deals on materials such as food and armor. Once again, the key to leveling up your woodcutting the fastest is to keep yourself dedicated and not waste time.
  23. Does anyone know the exact lvl that you stop burning tuna? (F2p, so no cooking gauntlets)
  24. You could make tiaras out of silver bars
  25. I would suggest hobgoblins
