I understand where you are coming from, but d claws have many uses as well. They are great for boss hunting, pking and general training(if you can afford).

Bandos chest =~13m last time I checked? Bandos tassets= ~9m? 22m +6 str bonus -.- (not even 2 damage) Oh also those 2 have more uses than Claws, which is just a spec only weapon. Last time i checked Bandos couldn't be used for fishing or anything.. It was used for combat, just like d claws. Fighter Torso is free, but takes time, and has less def than bandos. But same str bonus. Bandos Tassets are just a waste.

Dragon Claws special is formulated in such a way that you always get a decent hit. D mace just plain sucks, it can hit high, but not very accurate. With dds/d long you don't always get a good hit. Only time i have seen d claws not get a good hit is on protect from melee. Plus, d claws are cool. 8-)

ankous are a great choice for both range and melee. There are safespots for range. I found ankous enjoyable during my f2p time.

There are some decent rewards from level 2's. Animal masks Ranger boots Wizard boots God cloaks Strength Ammulet(t) Green d'hide(g) Those are all 300k+ i belive.

Barrows is easier and safer, but with just below decent rewards. GWD is harder, more dangerous and requires a team(unless you hare high enough level to solo), but it has better rewards. Basically the bigger the risk, the bigger the reward.

You should really tank at aviansies, which makes money(around 200-250k/hr) and is around 35k exp/hr. Then use the money you made to go chinning from 90-99.

Yeah, I don't want to do rock crabs because there are so many people there with cannons and/or attacking my Rock Crab.

Alch in a pvp world and watch fights, that helps alot to break up te boredom.
