Think I'm going to throw Firearms out there too. Old Half Life multiplayer mod, was a really solid and fun game. Sadly games like TFC, CS and DoD overshadowed it.

These are guy's who know the size of Hermoine's teeth and what book they got reduced in. I don't think it's a stretch to say they'd go see a movie.

I'd probably play more if it didn't [bleep] up my theme everytime I started it up. Then again I always was more of a UT man myself...

Getting close to 20 myself (was 16 when I left off so :P) and I'm doing the last group quests stuff. They're pretty [bleep]ing challenging, a lot of this feels more like a lowbie instance than a normal world thing. Was pissed off though, internet was down pretty much all day yesterday (Friday) so I couldn't play at all them. Still chanter is still proving to be fun. :D

It really is a mystery why people seem to think you're a good poster. I have to say I usually enjoy Trapical's posts but this was just ridiculous.

I assume with shadowrun you're talking about the FPS and not the old RPG right :P. I have to say that Trine doesn't seem to be getting much press for as awesome of a game it was. At least the dudes at Giant bomb gave it 5 stars. :)

A lot of classic rock was the MTV music pre-'88 anyways. :P

He's mentioning those games because you don't have to find weapons. Also if I remember right (someone please fill me in here) but whenever games like Quake III are played competition players start with the weapons, right? Fighting over "weapon control" doesn't take skill, it just gives and advantage to whatever team can camp the rocket launcher first.

I thought you were talking about Team Fortress 2 for a second. #-o Nadril, have you tried Mount and Blade? You probably remember the thread about it here, and the positive reviews it got. I don't know if it's your type of game though. Nadril is very strict when it comes to games. :lol: Well he has a big post count so he must be online alot so I guess he likes online game if he played Runescape at one point he likes RPGs etc. so I suggest an online game like Wow. :P Otherwise Orange Box,Halo 1 and 2,Call of Duty 4 and 5,and you might enjoy Spore. Mount and Blade I haven't played, not sure if it's my type of game or not. I guess it wouldn't hurt to try. WoW No :/ Orange Box have already, obviously. Halo No :/ CoD4/5 Have CoD4, no to CoD5. Spore: No :/

We get it, you don't like MTV or popular music. Most people here don't. That still doesn't mean there isn't a ton of music after '88 that is incredible. That's my only point, there is good music outside your little bounds of classic rock. You just have to try and look a little bit. :thumbup: :lol:

Ok that's great. That still doesn't give you any reason to hate any music after '88. Considering I already guessed what kind of music you enjoy I assume you've made no effort at all to find something interesting and out of your bounds to listen to. Oh well.

Sigh. Again, COMPETITION COD4 ON PC is done exclusively through a mod called pro mod. This isn't just a few jerkoffs using it, it's the MLG standard for PC CoD4. You can't compare it to CoD4 competition on the 360 as I've said a hundred times. And this isn't just "custom options" it's a big reworking of the way a lot of things are handled in CoD4. Of course considering you're also talking about just PUG stomping of course it's easy, it's easy in any fps.

Braid. I sort of missed the hype train when the game came around so I'm playing it now. All I'm going to say is my mind is still proverbially f**ked after playing some of "world 4". Jesus I'm still thinking that if I move backwards it's going to also move time backwards. It's a really odd feeling. Game is wonderful though, even if the puzzles are really confusing me at this time at night. Artistically it's amazing looking -- I love all of these indie art titles. Also makes me wish I had a PS3 so I could play Flower :(.

I can't really give you any more without making it painfully obvious. I know you're probably just googling space MMOs at this point anyways.
