Nice price. So another beta event up this weekend, who else is excited? I'm planning on getting my chanter to 25 and trying to experience some of the Abyss. Going to try out a crit based manastone build as well because I heard staff crits cause knockdown. :thumbup: I'm not really sure what you're talking about? The game is primarily a PvP game (the PvPvE portion is due to the 3rd faction in game being an NPC controlled race) and the PvP pretty much all takes place in the Abyss, which is huge. They've actually added a ton of content since the game has came out, and the only thing which might have slowed down PvP would be the inclusion of fort dungeons, which grant some AP on completion. I heard on the test server for 1.5 they increased the lockout timer on them though, so players wouldn't just hide away.

WoW is not an intensive game, his video card should be fine. :?

Meh, most of the work that is done is from the "stock" (which isn't a stock at all by the way, ugh). I guess if you wanted to teach someone about a gradient map it would be fine, but still... :thumbdown: I'd rather you do a tutorial on how to actually make something yourself, not just take something and add a couple of effects making it look worse than before.

Spammers care as it adds one more name to their arsenal and in turn increasing the probability that another computer could become infected with a trojan or virus. I'd have to disagree, doing that is probably the biggest waste of time ever. Yeah that's why this sort of thing happens all the time, right? :roll:

Half this thread smells of Bloodsport or Fight Club or some weird hybrid of the two... ...with a touch of Enter the Dragon. I'd like to say my fighting style is a mix of The Matrix with a hint of Fight Club, personally.

Not sure why I remembered this now, but it's pretty funny when my roomate goes battle medic. He has a [bleep]ing knack for getting behind our lines and then just ubersawing the snipers to death, pretty [bleep]ing funny really. The blutsauger (sp?) is pretty OP too if you can use it right. Really though nothing is better than turning around and seeing this medic rushing you with a goddamn ubersaw. :P He does pretty good at it too sadly. As far as the normal cloak vs cloak and dagger goes, I found that I'm really used to just grabbing ammo now. I can see how cloak and dagger would be awesome in some situations (my roomate uses it very well) but if I need to stay still I'll just hop on top of an engineer dispenser XD. It's gotten so bad though that engis have started just randomly shooting the top of their dispenser on the server I frequent because I've been doing that so much lol. Sit on top of it, wait for them to turn their back and then stab and sap. :lol: Stab and Sap is easier than I thought too, getting used to it compared to sap + stab.

Yikes. It's a good thing none of that applies to me I guess. I didn't enjoy the scouts when I was in it, and especially now as I'm older I'm not going to join them if I disagree with their views. Sure it is always nice to have something else on your resume, but I'd rather my portfolio do the talking ;p. (I don't play runescape anyways, although I did 7 years ago for a bit. I just stick around here)

Need for Speed 1, 2 and Hot Pursuit were all very solid games. I have very fond memories of playing NFS2 with my younger brother on our PC. :P

Heh I was about to say, does anyone else use normal cloak other than me? Me and my roomate have been doing spy competitions lately on the PUB server we frequent. It's pretty fun, and we stick to the spycode :thumbup: :D . I was camping ontop of the roof today in grannery (IIRC that is the map) on B for a bit as the spy. Took an engi teleporter up there, blew up all his [cabbage], revolvered the scout up there than just kind of chilled and shot at people lol. Someone did eventually notice (wtf there is a spy on our roof?) but it was pretty funny. Also got 5 stabs in a row (like 1s each) on hoodoo, all the while their scout was shouting "SPAH AROUND HERE, SPAH AROUND HERE". I'm still too random as a spy though, I either do really good or I suck hard.

Yeah I've hopefully got enough experience coding so far. I'm pretty good with HTML/CSS and learning Javascript (or at least, Javascript libraries haha). I did realize that my "portfolio" is really poorly fleshed out though, I should really try and do some more random design just to show what I can do. :thumbup: (How much you getting paid for a page?)

Live version looks nice. Something, I can't pinpoint what, is really bugging me about the font/type choice though. So is this site for a person you know or how did you get in charge of doing it? I'm looking to do some freelance myself, but it's a pain in the [wagon] to sort of break in there. I might have another website job (small one) coming up for a friend though where I'll get paid. :thumbup:
