  1. Yeah I'm having a hard time finding something that might interest me after watching Monster. In all honesty I don't think anything can top that one for me. Unless someone knows something in the same sort of style maybe. Well that or something like Lain. :P Also I tried getting into Tehxynolze (or however you spell it) but the first ep was confusing as [bleep] so I just sort of put it down. :? The first episode of Texhnolyze is different to all the rest, apparently. I haven't watched any more than that either. Ugh I feel obliged to watch something now. I'm way too lazy to though. Yeah I heard the same. The first episode was just way too confusing for me to want to even think about watching the rest, hah. I sort of feel like watching something too but, like I said, I don't know of anything I'd wanna watch.
  2. Still listening to Sigh. Man, this is so awesome. I love how just out of no where they just go to a completely different sounding style. So cool.
  3. I'd say I'm interested, but I'll wait and see if anyone else really wants it. I'd mostly just take the key to see what it is like, although I have no plans on actually playing the game come launch. :)
  4. Yeah ranks are really cool. Especially when they are more than just a grind. So done with the closed beta, another pretty successful one. Spent the later part of today doing some duels (Sort of sucked because a lot of people were around 25+ or even 30, and I was 19 on the sin) and just messing around. Also dyed my guys armor blue, which looks pretty cool. [hide=pic][/hide]
  5. Paramore is pretty catchy. (uh... what I heard from Rock Band. Y'know, to keep my man cred).
  6. Jesu  . I get the same feeling whenver I listen to them, it's really comforting for some reason. Wonder how many lists it's been on now. Nice list. I know most of the bands on here even though I don't listen to all of them. Puscifer is a terrible name though, haha. What would your mom think about you listening to them? :shame:
  7. This is way off topic, but I love how you spelled that word. It cannot be unseen.
  8. Sigh's Gallows Gallery album. Listening to the entire album now.   You should try this band jaerk, they don't sound like traditional BM at all. Hah oh wow.
  9. I found one here http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813138079 but it runs with DDR2. So yea, it's looking like I'm going to have to do a bunch of upgrades to get my PC where I want it. Is it actually even feasible to just upgrade the motherboard, RAM, and video card? Or should I be looking at other things as well; keep in mind though I don't have the sort of money to either do a full upgrade of all my components or buy a new PC. Bare bones. Sorry for annoying you Nadril :P Odd, I looked around and couldn't find a thing. I probably accidentally looked for PCI-E 2.0. I guess it would be feasible to do that. However I'd personally be wary about spending that sort of money only to stick with the same, totally outdated, pentium 4 socket. No doubt your P4 would really hold you back, especially with a 9600GSO or 4670. You would probably also have to get an IDE to SATA converter (such as This) so that your hard drive would work. This is all given that your PSU has enough juice, of course, which I'm not sure what you'd have for an older machine.
  10. Different pins is why. Standard usually for intel motherboards is either a LGA775 or LGA1366 (Which is Core2duo/quad and i7 respectively). Pentium 4 CPU's are a socket 478. Sadly I looked and there are no motherboards with a Socket 478 and a PCI-E slot.
  11. Sigh's Gallows Gallery This is awesome.

I like some of his ambient stuff and the BM stuff is pretty cool too. I don't really consider him a favorite anymore though, although I do like the songs My Journey to the Stars and War. edit: dude Sigh is awesome. duuuude.
  13. Well, it's not really just a new motherboard. In all honesty you're pretty much looking at needing an entire new PC. - A new motherboard means it won't have a P4 socket (chances are) so you'd need a new CPU - A new motherboard would have DDR2 or DDR3 support, yours is chugging on DDR so you'd need new RAM - New video card obviously for PCI-E.

Burzum. Also Adio, every time I see you post I end up staring at the cat in your sig for like 3 minutes. :P
  15. You've only got AGP/PCI slots so you won't be able to use any of those cards unless you got a new motherboard.
  16. Yeah I figured they were about the same, but some of the radeon's more budget card line up confuses me. I only really know the main lineups (like 3850/70, 4850/70)
  17. Some of you guys seem to misunderstand the topic, it's about crazy stuff you have done in games, not good games. :P Hmm... I remember getting a random crit rocket in TF2 and blowing up 4 people at once who were trying to cap our point. That was awesome because it totally wasn't planned and I didn't even have a kritzreig (and I was really far away). Fighting the optional dragon bosses in Baldurs Gate II brings back memories too, easily the hardest fights in any RPG ever. Also beating a team in the Arena in WoW where their enemy rogue had a warglaive (the best weapon in the game at the time that like less than 1% of players in the game owned) as a weird [wagon] rogue/hunter team. Even better is that our gear sucked, mine was mostly wellfare epics and the hunter was mostly like blues. Later on beating our first 2k + rated mage/rogue team was a good feeling too. It was too bad the Arena in WoW was pretty much an uphill battle everytime for us, I enjoy small scale fights but it sucked to get rolled by someone who had a better comp than you.
  18. 9600GSO is the best choice. 9400GT/9500GT are both high budget cards, terrible for actual games. I don't have much experience with Radeon hardware so I'd wait for someone like OldJoe to tell you about the 4650/4670.
  19. I still think it's strange that you like Winterheart's Guild but not Reckoning Night or Ecliptica. Usually it's the other way around for people, they love Ecliptica and Reckoning Night but don't like Winterheart's Guild as much. Tony can sing though, that's for sure. Just wondering though, have you actually listened to White pearl, black ocean? I think it's probably their best song by far. Some well written lyrics and great singing. Of course I also have a soft spot for The End of this Chapter  . I have a feeling you would like White Pearl, Black Ocean though. Sonata Arctica's White Pearl, Black Ocean wNCBRcCJo78

  21. I wasn't planning on replying since I agreed for the most part, and so I have no idea if anyone replied to this part about KOTH, but it is undoubtably the best cartoon there is in my books. Even after seeing an episode 20 times, I still laugh at it. It's a hilarious, down to earth show, and MUCH more realistic than other cartoons and reality shows themselves. The pace is great and easy to follow. /rant. Agreed. I didn't like it at first, but it really is a hilarious show.
  22. Abyss Rank chart, including how many points you need (minimum) to get up to a rank and how many each rank gives when they die and lose when they die. Also note that 1 star officer and above is filled for a limited amount of positions. So 1000 1 stars, 800 2 stars, all the way up to 1 Supreme Commander. :)
  23. That was the Balaur faction, which is the "E" part of PvPvE. The Balaur is pretty much an NPC only faction which sort of does as it pleases in Aion, and helps keep balance between the two sides. You don't know what they'll really do, like they may help out the Elyos side, they may help out Asmodian or they may attack them both. They show up in the Abyss though and at fortress sieges. Every now and then they'll roll up in that big [wagon] ship you saw in the trailer which in it's own is a lvl 50 boss mob that, to what I know, no one has killed yet. (it has multiple parts to it, shoots lasers and if it gets close to the fort it drops down level 50 elite mobs). :) Also I should say that I am loving my Assassin and combat with it. It's so dynamic even at level 16, and there is so much going on. I have poisons, I have combo points, I have combo skills, I have stuns, I have a backstab and I have a move which makes me automatically dodge the next thing used against me. (and then a "counterattack" that is usable after a dodge). I really hope I can get to 20 and get some decent duels frapsed, as long as it doesn't lag me. It's also amazing how much movement really does effect you (what I posted a while back). Moving forward while doing a backstab is the difference between a 1000 crit and a 1200 crit. It really is the only game where I'm paying attention to where I'm moving in combat. (like I don't want to strafe too much or I'll drop in damage (although raise in evasion) and I want to move forward during my large burst hits).
  24. ^I'm sure some of those are dudes too. I'm not about to guess which ones. Sabaton's Metal Machine. Sure it's cheesy as hell, but it's a great [bleep]ing tribute. I love all of the references.
  25. I usually stick with cheap buds since I don't use them much, but Sennheiser is always a pretty good brand. Sucks though because I can't stand the in ear buds.
