  2. If you're not buying for another year why even ask? Technology changes so rapidly that who knows what will be out then. Both laptops you posted aren't very good for what you want at all.
  3. It's the server. If it is, then it's every server because it doesn't work anywhere. steam community was down, but it is up now.
  4. Random. It'd be real cool if you got all the achievements for the class that you'd get their hat automatically. Only saying that because I don't need many more for spy.
  5. Powerglove's Metal Kombat for the Mortal Man
  6. Yeah, I saw you visited my profile. :3 (subscribers get to see the recent visitors) So, now that I've been found, here I am. Feel free to friend, praise, hate, berate... etc. Oh gee, I wonder what my rank with you is!

Didn't know you were as big of a doom fan necrobean. :) I'll check out your doom recommendations.
  8. I don't care that it's nerdy, but I just picture this kid acting all high and mighty because he knew when the NES came out (even though I doubt he was even alive when it first came out.). The fact that he probably actually did this in real life (if it wouldn't be bad enough on a forums) only makes it worse. But yeah, acting like a know-it-all is annoying, acting like it about video games is just sad.
  9. [bleep]ing.Yes. Just wish I could actually get a hat though.
  10. Sure people could spend their time doing something more productive like learning social skills and go to the gym, but as long as they enjoy playing and they don't spend 40hrs a week doing it I think it's pretty unfair to say they're "wasting their life away". Admittedly though, MMORPGs are full of people with social anxiety issues who simply don't function that well socially, so they escape into the world of MMORPGs instead and tell themselves that they are socialising with their friends (internet friends). But the reality is that the day you stop helping them get dragon swords they'll forget you exist and find someone else to bounce memes off of. But to answer your question, MMORPGs games are basically extremely well-designed schedule of endorphin release. They dangle a carrot in front of you, and when you catch it they throw up another one. Even when you've max'd your level and have the best gear. It's pretty depressing. Yeah the MMO formula is really obvious. Whatever though, I still enjoy them. I play MMOs with a real life friend though, does that count for anything? (He's my roomate). That took a while. I can't stand playing WoW for more than 3 or 4 months. Hell, last time I lasted for what -- 2? Yeah.. it has been a long time, my longest so far. I dunno, I was only logging in to raid anyway, and being denied a spot because I was 3 minutes late, when they are taking absolute scrubs in and I'm consistently in the top 5 DPS (lots of competition for first place but I win my fair share).. I kinda got pissed off. I don't blame my guild for it, the rules are there in black and white and they must be fair to the people who were there ready to go. It just made me angry in general, so I took my name off the raiding roster and have logged in maybe 3 times since. I can't stand dealing with inner guild drama, it always just feels so [developmentally delayed]ed. I mean, people [bleep]ing up and down because of a game always feels odd. Just one of the reasons why I can't raid anymore. I make it a priority to stick with small guilds though, and I'm doing it again for Aion.
  11. Seriously, you know what ticks me off. Anyone who just buys "Insert Popular Title of the Day" and acts like they're a gamer, and they know anything about games. I know I guy like that, he said he knew anything about games, I asked him some simple questions. (His answers are in bold) 1. When was the NES released in the US? It was released in 1998, duh. 2. When did Sonic start sucking? 1974, [wagon]! 3. What is the secret password in Metroid? There's no passwords in Metroid. 4. What are all Kirby games known as in Japan? Suck n Blow Boy Adventure! LOL!!!! #-o You just started to quiz a kid about random video game facts? What the [bleep]? I've been playing video games for 19+ years (chances are longer than you've been alive) and I don't know the answer to #3/#4, not to mention #2 is subjective. (some believe the downfall started after sonic 2, some thought it was the start of 3D sonic games, I personally think Sonic Adventure 2 was the last good one). Really though, that's really lame. I'd have a very strong urge to hit someone (and I've never hit anyone before) if they just started to ask me that stuff.

People really were mentioning that? Geez, keep your pants on TIF. I don't know, or think at least, that I am addicted to anything. At least chemically I'm not.
  13. YOB's The Lie that is Sin Just listening to some random songs.

I'm just saying that, legally speaking, it'd be very easy to bend that sort of law for other uses. Even if your intentions are good I don't think that kind of law would be a good thing.
  15. Nadril replied to Dizzle229's topic in Off-Topic
It's not a crime to join a group. Making laws such as arresting members just for being in a gang is a terrible, and downward, slope. We don't really have any gangs, at least that I come in contact with, in Kansas. So I can't really offer much input here.

At least bots don't try to talk to me or scam me. I'd prefer the bots over a large majority of runescapes community.
  17. Nadril replied to Death123141's topic in Off-Topic
I've never even played maple story. Needless to say I'm glad I have a lot more common sense now than when I was 13.
  18. Valve and Bioware.
  19. In all honesty I don't like the rest of your stuff. The emotions are well done though.
  20. You know how much money they would lose if they changed the name?

How many MMOs have you played, Inuashakent? I can assure you out of the 20+ I have played that, yes, runescape has hands down the worst online community. It's not even a competition, it's just that terrible. I mean, this really is not me trolling or anything -- it is terrible. P2P or F2P, doesn't matter, both host some of the most annoying people. B) All which involve a variation of doing the same thing. Just because you're clicking up a different stat does not make it different. :) c) I last played it... oh god, 6 years ago? Conservative guess. I played when I was 13 and played for about a year (couldn't pay for any MMOs) and I'm about 21 now... so yeah, about 6 years ago. From what I understand it has only gone downhill. d) At least that one was obvious enough. e) see above. This thread isn't about runescape though. :/
  22. It's a decent phone. I have a 4GB MicroSDHC card as well for it so I at least have a bit of music on it. I think my family is planning on switching service plans from T-Mobile though sometime. When they do I think I might try and splurge a little bit and get a touch screen phone. My younger brother has an LG one that is actually very nice, the touch typing feels responsive (and you get feedback after typing, like a slight vibration) and his browser is nice. Something like that I could probably see myself use.
  23. Nadril replied to Death123141's topic in Off-Topic
    B) And yet you play runescape? c) Runescape again. d) Jagex is a terrible company. e) Runescape has the worst online community save for maybe Gaia Online. Even then it's a close tie. Both games suck. Point is when you market yourself to kids as an alternative to doing absolutely nothing you should know there isn't exactly anything to brag about your game. They're both just games for children who's mommy and daddy won't let them use the credit card. :)
  24. That took a while. I can't stand playing WoW for more than 3 or 4 months. Hell, last time I lasted for what -- 2? Or just not be a cheap-[wagon] and buy the actual game which is better. I've played on Lineage II servers but only because they were actually better than the retail game. WoW private servers are so bugged and their communities are downright [developmentally delayed]ed in nature. Seriously, you have people who think raid encounters without scripting (meaning a tank and spank fight) are difficult! It's funny destroying people because between the bugs and the [developmentally delayed]s it's so easy to do.
