  1. Algalon will mother[bleep]ing feed on your mother[bleep]ing tears Btw, that one hour despawn? He won't respawn for a WEEK (clarified by blue) People wanted a hard fight, well, they got it.
  2. Haha yeah. Have you guy's done Kologorn yet? On 25 man it's kind of a [bleep] because the room is PACKED and a screwed up eye beam can kill like 5 guys. And the druid I whispered was Lionheart btw. Yeah I got that message, wasn't sure who it was though. At that point I was much too focused on downing XT-002. :)
  3. Yeah I heard Freya is like Saratharion.
  4. I wouldn't say skipped. We already had experience from Kologorn from 10 man today so it only took us like 6-7 attempts or so. Granted the 25 man fight is a lot harder than 10 man because of all the [cabbage] going on. We're going for council on reset now. Still we have Leviathan/Razorscale/XT-002/Kologorn down in 3 raids, and one of those ended early due to server troubles. We certainly can get council down tomorrow easy than I'm not sure where we're going next.
  5. I'm a fan of ASUS personally, although I will say that I do love my gateway FX laptop. Very powerful and was pretty damn cheap for me ($1,100 on sale). I think it's like $1,600 for an upgraded version on newegg now.
  6. XT-002 Deconstructor 25 man down! also [hide=][/hide] edit: Kologorn 25 man down.
  7. DK's aren't exactly hard to level. 80 in two months isn't much of a feat.
  8. Yeah the books are going for 1500g a piece.
  9. Damn. XT-002 to 15% but we're constantly having problems with the adds not dying quick enough. (bold is me) Recount - Damage Done for XT-002 Deconstructor 22:38:47-22:45:10 1. Noobity 2305280 (6080.3, 8.5%) 2. Validin 2108683 (5652.1, 7.8%) 3. Kwanzabot 2010620 (5479.6, 7.4%) 4. Ghadun 1976157 (5351.5, 7.3%) 5. Gatoraide 1950441 (5330.7, 7.2%) 6. Badad 1826519 (4989.5, 6.7%) 7. Sayo 1606461 (5729.6, 5.9%) 8. Taidaishar 1606029 (4237.1, 5.9%) 9. Scrunches 1539460 (4123.8, 5.7%) Top 9 DPS for our best attempt. it's not really the dps on the boss thats the problem, just the adds get loose and heal the boss or something. Meh, we'll get it tomorrow though. edit: WWS stats for our 25 man run: http://wowwebstats.com/x4lvihzllabgo #5, not bad.
  10. Razorscale 25 man down. Working on XT-002 now. Funny when we got razorscale down not a SINGLE PERSON died.
  11. Pat you need to work on your surface maps, atmosphere well... everything. When I used terragen I used World Machine to make the procedural terrains. As far as surface maps go remember the parrent > Child relationships. Parent > Child Relationships: Parent layers are the "base" layers you can create. Think of it like a base patch of dirt, for example. The Child layers, then, are sub-directories of the parent texture. So for example you could have a Grass child layer. The grass would only show up where the dirt showed up and no where else. The reason this is so important is that eventually you will do something like this: BASE (usually rock) >PARENT #1 (Dirt, for example) __> CHILD#1 of PARENT #1 (Dirt, another slightly lighter/darker color) __> CHILD#2 of PARENT #2 (Another dirt layer, different color) >PARENT #2 (grass, for example. You want to control this so it doesn't show on a certain slope) __>CHILD#1 of PARENT #2 (Another shade of grass, maybe a light green.) __>CHILD#2 of PARENT #2 (Perhaps a darker shade of grass) >PARENT #3 (Rock texture for the side of mountains. You can control this so it shows everywhere, or perhaps just on a certain slope) __> CHILD#1 of PARENT #3 (continuation of the rock on the side of the mountains. Perhaps a nice "Strata" [look it up]) That would be an example of a very, very basic surface map. I find that using stock photos of textures such as grass, dirt, ect. is very useful to maintain realism. Atmospheres I don't have enough time to go on, but there are tons of great tutorials out there. Finally, some examples of landscapes that are possible through terragen (My landscapes) http://nadril.deviantart.com/art/Stone- ... 2-23320164 http://nadril.deviantart.com/art/Neo-World-70111373 http://nadril.deviantart.com/art/Elgard ... s-24532476 http://nadril.deviantart.com/art/Carpe-Diem-23954133 http://nadril.deviantart.com/art/The-in ... m-23578969 All examples with minimal post processing through photoshop (mostly a sharpen filter, curves, ect.) Sorry I can't explain everything. I haven't used terragen in years regularly but I don't think anything has changed since then. Feel free to ask me any questions. Copy-pasta from pats thread. You both have the same problems.
  12. Seriously? That's like 3 minutes in terragen. Bah. Pat you need to work on your surface maps, atmosphere well... everything. 13. XT-002 and Kolgarn down in 10 man. We tried doing Kolgarn with 2 heals for a while and then finally ended up switching to 3. Lot of raid damage in the fight. By the way, Kolgarn can't be reset. Even if you run all down the hallway he still grabs you lol. :(
  14. my favorite shot out of the bunch. Great colors, great composition.
  15. Odanism. Would be [bleep]ing badass when you die, getting to sit at Odan's table preparing for war. Seriously, better than just sitting in the clouds with a bunch of Mormons all day.
  16. This is pretty old. Mages did it so much on my server that some raid groups wouldn't even invite them.
  17. Hah oh [cabbage], a fragment. What lucky SOB got that? :) I have my Ulduar 10 and 25 tomorrow (Sunday). Should be able to get some stuff down, can't wait. In the meantime I ran Naxx 10 and 25 the past 2 days. Got myself the Wraith Spear (BiS 10 man naxx polearm), T7.5 Helm and Shoulders, new ring, new neck and a new trinket (Bandit's insignia).
  18. You won't really get any better than Wolves in the Throne Room for what they do. You would probably enjoy Drudkh though. Nadril knows more about black metal than me, but I thought I would drop that suggestion anyway. Heh not sure about that, I actually don't know too much black metal. Maybe try out Zuriaake though Dann. I heard about the band from intriguing, and their Afterimages of Autumn is pretty damn good. A nice mix of ambient and black metal. Now that you mentioned it I'm listening to Zuriaake's Afterimage's of Autumn. Also while it all isn't black metal, I would give Bathory's Nordland I + II and Hammerheart albums Dann. They both are "Viking metal" and are some of my favorite albums ever. :)
  19. Pretty interesting fight. From healer perspective though so we don't see inside his brain.
  20. Yeah Razorscale seems like a fight you need to just do once to get an idea. There is a lot of [cabbage] going on. Still, what strat did you guys use? I think my guilds problem last night was we didn't have any organized groups at certain spots. Well, that and getting caught in the fire. (only got 2-3 attempts and then servers went down). Flame Leviathan is a fun fight, I was doing the siege turret and my roomate was driving it. We did take 2 attempts on it though, 1st one we got him to like .1%. We wern't having people jump on his back so he just rocked us.
  21. I'll look into that. Next tuesday I'm going to start coding everything.
  22. Burning Blade is being fail tonight. Getting in attempts on Razorscale, crazy intense fight. But at least when the server goes down we go after another challenge, hogger lvl 1 raid on another server. edit: I got a throwing weapon from Leviathan.
  23. I'm playing arms now.
  24. Damn man, new vault boss is a real gangster. You need some serious DPS for him.
  25. People dont just like stay up all night and wait to post c/c I do.
