Will this card allow me to run Runescape HD?
Don't scrimp on PSU or cooling systems. You'll need to cool that if my cousin's experience means anything. (fried his after upgrading) And yeah, dual-monitors really really its intensive on graphics cards. Dual monitors doesn't make any difference on a graphic card, performance wise. Unless you're running a game with both at once. Also 550W-600W is already a little overkill for a 9600GT (only need around 450W-500W) although I agree you don't want to scrimp on it. As far as a cooling system goes, traditional air cooling is just fine.

In that case go ahead and go with the 9600GT and around a 550W-600W PSU from a trusted brand.

Yeah buying a $20 PSU is just going to be stupid in the long run. If you want to play chances with frying your computer though, go ahead. Is all you're playing Runescape? You seriously don't need to waste $100 on a new video card and PSU for that game.

Because most of us who local in Off topic and it's sub forums don't play that piece of [cabbage] game runescape.

My Runescape ~
By the way, I feel I should add a little bit to what I said -- but you're probably the only person to draw a comic on here with a properly done punchline. (Even if the punchline its self wasn't exactly anything new it was still done correctly). So good job on that. I do think the guy pointing to her certainly added to it all. :)

An upcoming Artist? Maybe....
Not sure why you guy's are anticipating this so much, haha. Chances are it won't be any good.

improving my xbox live signal strngth consistency
Like I said your connection won't be great through a bridge. The reason why is that first your laptop needs to get a signal (and wireless at that, which is usually slower than wired) and then needs to send the connection to your 360.

9600GT seems like overkill for HD. Honestly the OP would be better off buying a cheaper card (maybe something like the 8500GT budget card) so that he doesn't accidentally get a card that is too powerful for what is probably a low watt PSU.

Computer Compat/Graphics Card/diminishing returns
First of all, this all depends on what you are going to do with it and your budget. If it's a standard, office computer than you don't need to spend a lot on a video card. Likewise if you're gaming then it all depends on what games you are playing (There is a difference between, say, Crysis and runescape HD). Finally you need to decide if you want to future proof your machine or not. For example, if you got a quad core now you probably are not getting the same price/performance ratio as you would a core2duo for video games. However quad cores most likely will be better in the future (so a 2.4ghz quad core would be better than a closely priced, say, 2.7ghz Core2duo). Also I should say there usually is a big jump between mid range and a high range machine. Often times the best price bracket is around $800-$1,200. (From personal experience). That gives you enough to build a machine capable of running anything on the market today and in the future. Also if you plan it well you can easily future proof it.

Help With A Really Strict Parent
I'll be honest, what can they ground you from? Push your boundaries. I'm not saying scream and yell at them. Do the opposite, stay calm -- even when they're angry. However continue to do well (or better) in school. Pretty much prove to them that you can do both at the same time, even if it might get you into some [cabbage] with them and they will probably be angry with you (but no more so than they are right now). So really, just push it a bit. Stay out a little later. Pretty much just stick it to them. If you continue to do well while under this kind of pressure then there isn't much they can do. :)

Help With A Really Strict Parent
The funny thing is unless you're trying to get into an Ivy League school no one is going to give much of a [cabbage] if you didn't have all A's. I had about a 3.0 average by the end of my high school year which was perfectly fine. As far as rebeling goes, whatever you do just don't throw a tantrum. That's weak. However what can they do if you stay out a little later than you were supposed to. What would happen if you stayed out to 8, instead of 6? I mean, I don't think they would hit you and from the looks of it it isn't exactly like they could ground you either. They don't have anything to really ground you from. Dunno how this would actually work out though, I never had to go through a crazy rebellion stage with my parents.

A challenge
Lol that red pixel is seriously distracting. Personally I would have maybe dithered between the grass and sky a little bit, it looks rough right now.

Faces of Death
It's definitely not just you. I find the whole concept very disturbing and it's nothing I would (probably) ever watch. It's an odd video man, I'll give you that. I watched about 15 minutes or so of it. The narrator does make some interesting points, but I think it was just that mystique about snuff films that they seem to have. Even though the stuff that was shown was disgusting it was still... interesting. Then again I think a lot of people do have at least some morbid curiosity of death. Really though for me it is just the atmosphere surrounding these kind of films. I'm not going to say I liked it, or enjoyed it, but I was at the very least intrigued. Most of the scenes are fake though, except for some of the animal ones.

Yeah I don't think this really belongs here if you aren't actually posting anything...

The official World of Warcraft thread.
Ok, so I'm not one to complain about other players (I realize some are new) but I just need to vent about this DK. That is an excerpt from a MT run. Now, notice the DK. Do you see the shaman there at #4? He was our healer. Half of the time the DK would just leech xp from us and stand in a corner or some [cabbage], and the other half he was so bad it didn't even matter. THIS is his WoWArmory and, yes, that was the gear he uses on a normal basis. Mp5 gear, ONE 1H (not DW or a 2H), spell damage neck, ect. His talent build is something else too. He goes 55 points into frost and does not pick up frost strike? So yeah, that's my rant. Ugh. The worst DK I have ever seen in my life, and I thought I had seen it all after grouping with a separate DK the other day who decided rolling need on a spell power cloak was a good idea...

how to change my Nat Settings.
Yeah the wireless solutions for 360 sucks, adapter is so overpriced. :(

how to change my Nat Settings.
I'm afraid you're stuck with a stict NAT through that setup. I ran it a while ago before I got a wireless adapter, and pretty much you're SOL unless you get one or hardwire your 360 to the router. Sorry.

The official World of Warcraft thread.
Another version of the PTR is up, including a few warrior changes. Warrior Arms * Battle Stance now increase the armor penetration of all your attacks by 10%. * Shattering Throw *New Skill* - Throws your weapon at the enemy causing [ 50% of AP + 12 ] damage (based on attack power), reducing the armor on the target by 20% for 10 sec, and removing any invulnerabilities. 25 Rage, 30 yd range, 1.5 sec cast, 5 min cooldown Fury * Berserker Stance now increase all damage taken by 5% (Down from 10%) * Intimidating Shout cooldown has been lowered from 3 min to 2 min. Protection * Defensive Stance now reduces damage caused by 5%. (Down from 10%) * Disarm now disarm the enemy's main hand and ranged weapons. Now most of these are pretty bland changes. 10% armor pen in battle stance is decent I guess, but not a big buff. Likewise the 5% less damage taken in zerk is a decent start. I do have to say the Disarm change, looking over it, will give warriors some better leverage versus hunters. However, the change I'm interested in is: AKA warriors are going to get an ability that will remove bubble/ice block from the opponent. While these aren't all of the warrior changes I'm pretty excited about this one, because it gives warriors a good utility role. It also means my 2v2 team will probably stomp all over a paladin/DK in 3.1 because we can counter anything they throw at us. Diseases? Cleanse Disease/Disease totem. Bubble? Shattering throw.

Faces of Death
Alright, so so far I've watched up to after the monkey brains scene. I do think a lot of the early footage is real (maybe not the surgery?) but all of the animals getting killed certainly was.

Help
Really that doesn't sound that bad (his drinking). And parents usually don't like to admit they are wrong :) I don't know what to really say. Clearly it seems like something you should try and talk to your mom about still. Maybe you can ask her if there could be a copromise? Like, he doesn't drink as much and she stays. But having to have him quit cold turkey seems pretty counter productive, especially with AA meetings and all that.

how to change my Nat Settings.
Wait, is the ethernet from your laptop to the 360 (making a bridge network) or from the router to the 360?
