It's a PR move. Any company in that position would do the exact same thing. The amount of press they are getting from replacing this console is incredible. Don't fool yourself into thinking they did it out of the kindness of their hearts.

It looks pretty interesting, it's going to be another web based FPS like QuakeLive right? And, IMO, the graphics don't look anything like Team Fortress 2 unless you think any cartoony game looks like it. TF2 has a lot more style in it. Either way I'm sure I'll try this game out and see what all the fuss is about.

Not quite building, just putting a part in, but a 4830 is easily overclockable to the 4850s and can even outperform it on stock cooling while overclocked. Some may hate me for saying this but you can use the catalyst built in OC'ing thing to do it so easily it's ridiculous. It's cheap but pwns. I own one and it owns. :) CoD:WaW runs at 70FPS everything @ max, except some obvious things not turned up all the way. Not even OC'd either. The thing is, you can't choose a 4830. And i don't know how it would affect the warranty of the computer. And i can't recommend him overclocking, it takes quite some time to learn it. Well I'm fairly positive overclocking would void the warrenty. IMO if you want an upgrade from the 9600 I would personally just get the HD4850. Damn powerful card.

For some reason the matchmaking system keeps pitting me against guys with 400-500BP, it sort of sucks because I'll win like 5 in a row, lose one and be down all of those points I just gained. :lol: Using Sagat as my main now btw limp, 1300BP and I seem to be hovering around that right now. I still really need to learn my combos though.

Yeah laura I didn't recommend anything. :lol: OldJoe's build is good. The 9600GS will be able to handle the games you mentioned on all highs. If you want to future proof a bit an HD4850 would be awesome though and still under budget.
