I've played CP_Egypt before and it's a fun map. Fairly odd, but still good. (remember these are community maps, not entirely new ones. I've played the arena_watchtower as well). I like how they are hinting at the new scattergun. Makes me think it might give scouts the option to do a "rocket jump" kind of thing... =P~ If I remember right pyros were nerfed pretty close after release, and I don't think that 360 gets any of the patches to the game. So they were pretty widely played (OP really) and then got brought down and hardly anyone played them. If I can remember right, that is. Of course I remember in TFC when no one would ever want to play a pyro.

I don't really care about the quality of the game engine they are using, although a lot of the animations are just downright lazy (and a game revolving around combat it needs to be smooth). The art style is kind of bland too, I much prefer the way Ultima Online looked back in the day. I would like to see what is so fun about the combat though. I mean, the combat looks like Moorwind's combat, which sucked. From what I understand there is an "upper slash" and a "side slash" which you switch between through a hotkey. I'll wait for the game to come out so that I don't get opinions that are diluted with raving fanboys. I don't really see the variance in skills though. If anything do a video and show us all of the different skills and spells you can use as a player.

Pyro was Lenin. When TF2 came out not many people played them due to the difficulty of the class. And not sure if you were talking to me, but I'm not crusading anything. I'm looking forward to the update. :)

Yeah I know. For leveling up in instances though you want strong AoE pulls. :)

Yeah I always hated that about RuneHQ. I used to use their website for their quest guides, but I always hated it because of how slow it was and how cluttered it looked. To be fair though I remember when the TIF forums (maybe more of scapeboard) were slow as molasses. Of course that is more to blame for our crappy service provider other than anything ([bleep]in DK3 :P)

Not really man. It was a decent game and I did finish it, but I just had no motivation at all to "explore" afterwards. With the lack of side quests and such to do (like in Oblivion) it got pretty boring quick. That and the combat bored me.

I have never heard cancer used as a swear. I mean, how do you even use it? "Oh that's so cancer just leaving us like that, I mean what the cancer. Cancer!" It just doesn't work man. The only thing I can really think of that annoys me like crazy is when some drunk guy is trying to talk to you at 2 in the morning. I stay up really late, so now and then after brushing my teeth I'll be walking back to my room and some drunk guy will try and spark up a conversation. This would be fine and all, except - I'm tired - I don't like a lot of people on my hall when they're sober, why would I like them while drunk? - They can't take a hint. Usually after I shut the door to my room they get the idea though.

I've learnt that every spec is good for everything, it just varies depending on what you are doing. Currently, I like frost a lot. From a tanking perspective frost is the easiest to get agro onto you fast when doing AoE pulls.

I was going to say that whoever buy's that for $1,000 is a fool... but I think prices are overall higher in NZ aren't they?

So you're trying to say that a good player isn't going to be able to do better with these? You realize that all of the updates so far have been made to put life into the lesser played classes right. Valve wanted to balance the scout so he wouldn't be as hard to get into but still would have a lot of strategy. Complaining that more people will play scout is kind of meh.

360. The dpad is pretty [cabbage]ty but, in all honesty, the analog stick works well. With the exception of a few moves (mostly where you make a Z kind of movement on the stick) I can land them fairly constantly so far. How is it costing you $80 btw? Canada land I assume? (Was $60 here) He is. :cry: Most rage inducing boss ever lol.

For arena 4 DPS is pretty [cabbage]ty, the 5th slot would be best with another healer (or someone who can heal or DPS, esp when duel specs come around). Other than that Ret/DK/resto druid is a decent 3's combo, as is DK/Mage/resto druid. The paladin might be better off as holy in the arena though, but it sounds like he doesn't want to heal. Oh and for your DK go frost, great for tanking.

I guess I will bump up this thread. Has anyone else boughten this game yet? I got it the other day and I have to say, as someone with very little previous street fighter experience, I am loving it. While I'm sticking to offline for now to hone my skills the games combat is incredibly smooth, and the visuals and art direction is amazing. Really one of the best fighting games I've played. My only beef is that the CPU can be incredibly whorish when it comes to spamming a certain combo. Seth loves to do his heavy punch (which is the stretchy arms) and just spam it. :lol: Anyways what character(s) are you guys mostly playing? I finally unlocked Akuma today and I think I'm going to really try and get good at him. I've had some pretty lucky (and just badass) things happen with him, including teleporting on the otherside of Ryu's ultimate attack in a fight against the CPU. And his Ultimate (while harder to pull off) is just great if it lands. :thumbup:

The animations are horrible, you aren't the only one. Since the NDA dropped I have become less and less impressed by this game. The videos look like [cabbage] and, from what I've heard, there is almost no actual "life" out there save for certain pre determained spawn points on a long spawn timer. So much for just exploring. So for now I'm going to put this in the same basket as Dark and Light because it's starting to remind me exactly of it.

I want to say that's just a rumor, owning a ROM no matter what is illegal because it is an illegal copy. It all comes down to your morality (again) instead of law in this case.

Someone has a dislike of turn-based systems? And if the Final Fantasy series was crap, why does it sell so well? Naruto and Pokemon sell well too, don't they? And yes, I HATE turn based games. It's just that VATS has lot more depth than FF. VATS is [developmentally delayed]ed dude. There is no depth in it, all you do is just shoot them in a head = instant win. The NES/SNES era Final Fantasy games were great (After that really not so much) and turn based RPGs have a lot more depth than vats... lol. Then again if you're trying to form your opinion around one of the crappy Final Fantasies I could see why you would dislike it. And the Kingdom hearts series sucks. There. I said it.
