  1. The biggest reason some people dislike emos is because of the oldest reason known to man - they're different, and this makes those people feel threatened and uncomfortable. Hence all the blatent stereotypical posts about emos wanting to kill themselves. In the emo-filled college I've been going to for a whole year now, I've not yet seen one person that wants to either slit themselves or take their own life. Nor have I seen any that are particularly weird. Again why say you are emo if you don't actually follow the trend? I mean, just because I dress like a stereotypical black guy dresses it doesn't mean I"m black. (stupid example but I hope you get the idea at least).

And why exactly is it funny shooting animals with an air rifle? Oh yeh, because they are helpless, and you are just a wimp. Come back when you kill an alligator with your bare hands One of the few things that legitimatly made me laugh from you lag. :P In complete agreement with you, it really blows my mind.
  3. I would probably tell her that, even though she is a very lovely lady and that I love her that I would not want to try and convert her to my beliefs. The fact is is that couldn't work out for me. I don't want to have to get legaly married and I don't want to have kids. Even if I loved her it couldn't work out. Now I would talk a bit and try and figure out how strong her beliefs are, but if they are strong I wouldn't want to change them.

Right. I take it you couldn't find a credible source, yes? The last article, had this in it: A little googling on 'Dr Gary Tunsky' who wrote that last article, gave his bio as a hit. He's a Naturopathic Doctor (ND title). Oh and he wants to treat cancer through your diet He claimes there really is only one disease: not thousands of seperate diseases, just one disease. Wikipedia on naturopathic medicine: 'With only a few exceptions, most naturopathic treatments have not been tested for safety and efficacy utilizing scientific studies or clinical trials. There is a concern in the scientific and medical communities that these treatments are used to replace well-studied and tested medical procedures thereby endangering the health of the patient.' I'll stick to living in my bubble as well. Atleast I can eat chicken in it, even though it's deemed an acidic food. Anyways, I never felt the need to kill an animal on purpose, except for annoying flies, spiders and mosquitos. I don't think killing an animal creates character: hardship in life will take care of that. Hah thanks for finding that for me. I knew it sounded fishy. Actually I'm interested in learning and upholding the truth as well. What you said as well is not true so please stop trying to put it up like such. Really though, give me a link from a credible medical site, no bias, that explains this. Perhaps I will believe you. Killing random animals is fine but sex before marriage is wrong! My oh my how do you have such a warped view on life striker. Why in the world would randomly killing an animal build any sort of character to a person? I mean, I could care less about a animal and I could care less about eating one, but just random killings?
  5. Thank you for your unique and different viewpoint on the situation.
  6. Download firefox and use that, tell me if the problem persists. Curious to know if it is the browser or not.

So do you know a dieticion I could ask about this, from the inside of my office, for free? Thought so. There are several on the Internet, and failing that, I'm sure neither of you two are actually in a position to comment on an area of science which takes several years at degree level to fully understand. The Internet is great... it however doesn't replace a University degree, nor does it give you a position to comment on such matters. And I'm fairly sure very few of us have degrees in several matters, should we just stop talking about them as well? Only thing I am asking is he back up what he says, I'm not doing it for him.
  8. Lets hope it lives up to the hype. Maybe the Wii will start to have some more titles worth buying the system for.

Poor highlander is it too hard to list some valid sources? I am in agreement with Merc here, none of those sources are accurate. Get a source from a credible medical page. Also not sure how you could take offense to me asking for a source to something.
  12. Both the baulders gate series and Neverwinter nights are fantasy, not medieval. Also the crappy Dark alliance hack-n-slash spinoffs from the series are horrible. Completely ruined the games name. Baulders gate I + II on the PC are some of the finest RPG's I have ever played. Also a pro tip to you guys: Just because it has swords and spells and the whatnot does not mean it is a medieval setting! For my contribution I'll put in Ultima Online, definitily a very medieval setting. Yes it was more of medieval fantasy but the game was build in a fantasy world that replicated what you'd expect from a medieval world. well, more medieval that Rome Total War...LOL Or Morrowind for that matter (which always seemed kinda alien to me) or Lord of the Rings. It's been a while since I played Neverwinter Nights, but I remember it as being very medieval/fantasy based. I believe the whole 1st chapter is in a castle-walled city. (imo, most fantasy stories/games have a strong medieval influence) Never said Rome total war/Morrowind were medieval :). The baulders gate series definitely isn't however I think I do remember NwN having some medieval influences. Haven't played the game in a while though.

I've never once heard of this before, source please. I eat a ton of meat and my brain has not developed any slower, nor has anyone I know.
  14. Thread win. darkrick receives 50 exp and two internets. 50xp? I'm doing a different quest. -.-

Don't think I've killed something before, unless you count bugs and the what-not. But killing builds character? :-s riiight.
  17. Doesn't matter if your skinny, the fat still builds up in your arteries. Some marathon runner dropped dead of cardiac arrest a while ago, and he ran marthons 365 days a year, but what he ate was all fast food and beer, which was fattening enoguh for him to clog up his arteries and die at 26.... I hardly have fast food anymore so thats not really a problem for me. My point still stands though, people will eat as much as they want to eat -- larger portions available or not.

  19. Sums up my thoughts.
  20. Seems like you've never worked in a fast food place. I like working at Timmy Hos, but when it's busy, you might not have a second to think for a hour. And that's in the middle of the day on a weekday. When I get home, I'm completely exhausted, and I haven't sat down the entire time. It's not the slackers job you think it is. Ya, I'm a cook in a restaurant (not fast food, not mega fancy, but it's a faily nice sit-down pizza restaurant), and when it's dinner time, it's hell. No time to breathe, and if you make a mistake on a single pizza, you're screwed. Eel, have you ever worked in fast food, or any kind of food service :-s ? It's not exactly proper to make assumptions about something you know little about. Ya, I work for Wendy's, and let me tell you, the way we have been busy latly, i swear people just phone each other up and say "Hey lets go over to wendy's, i doubt there busy, call all your friends!". I swear it feels that way because we cant keep up half the time with our lineups now, and even with two cashiers, and two people helping, its still hard when you have a family order TO GO (seriously, we get the whole family come in and order, and then say they want it to go, so we waste time packing.) I'm also gonna say, Ive seen some pretty stupid people come through before. I'll give you all a tip: Read the menu. Half the people dont. And I still get people asking me for McNuggets and Happy meals (I WORK AT WENDY'S). [/hide] my brother hates that too but he works at arby's and he says most of the people that like 80% of the people that come are fat that orders pretty much the meatiest thing to go so they hve to prepare that fast Personally, i think the companies should stop giving options like doubles and triples. People are getting to obese and there are too many heart problems these days. If the fast food companies just stopped offering the extra stuff, then we wouldn't have this big of a problem. @the guy who pays for a 5.25 meal with 11.25: I would just give you the dollar back and ten ring it in and give you the 5 dollars change. Seriously, count the amount im giving you. Also bugs me when a person comes in with a pocket full of change and has to pay using that change. Ive had a person give me 2$ in pennys! After that my boss said that more then 30 cents in pennys have to be given in a roll. I order a double/triple and am skinny as sin. Point is if they didn't offer a double anymore people would just get 2 single burgers.
  21. If you can run WoW comfortably than, yes, you can run TBC. Mouth? Per month it roughly equates out to $15.00, with discounts being made if you order more than one month at a time. I personally do it one month at a time, no use for me to end up quitting and having 2 months left of play.
  22. Why would it run WoW but not TBC? Its the same exact engine. also you pretty much need TBC After 58 (after 60 at the most). Well I found a program on the net that ran the minimum reqs against your system and it said that TBC wouldnt run whilst WoW would (damn it I cant find the program anymore) I think it was the chipset that my laptop has that sticks, then again what you say makes sense *confusion* :-k If it is seriously that on the edge (will run WoW won't run TBC) than good luck getting either to work on your PC at all. [what is your PC's specs?]
  23. http://forums.worldofwarcraft.com/threa ... 1&pageNo=1 Freaking epic :D. I'm thinking this may make the 2.2 content patch? Looks like they are getting the bosses all ready now for it.
