  1. black dragon tasks rule. kill the babies.
  2. ^ dragonhides won't help. The freeze is range based. I just wear nothing (No loss on death) and prot range when I hear the rev noise. Then I trap the rev behind something and hop.
  3. I only want one kill a trip so I don't really care about how many kills per trip I get. I just want to know if I'll be able to kill him. Feel free to reccomend changes to my gear but I have no godsword or bandos armor.
  4. stats: attack/def/str: 85 prayer: 70 HP: 87 summoning: 59 Magic: 85 range: 77
  5. iirc it's scimitar speed and you can use a rune defender with it. Either way I'd never use it either lol. I use a flail or Z Spear depending on what I have at the time.
  6. You could try an Ancient staff.
  7. you could try fire wave at iron dragons. might get a visage. 60K xp per hour iirc aswell.
  8. It all started about 8 months ago. I decided I wanted a godsword and a new skillcape. So I sat in Piscatoris for months... I sat patiently waiting while I slowly piled up cash. I joined The Slayer's Guild in this time and began counting fish on my fingers looking towards the day I'd be out there killing monsters... Eventually I was halfway to 99 fishing and I had a huge slab of metal in my hand. At this point in time the BGS was only 30m, 10m less than when I had started! Unfortunately I was so hyped up about it after months of grinding that it failed to meet my expectations in a huge way.... So I went back to finish my task... Over time the godsword's prices dropped and I lost 5m on items in my bank after I took a break. I gave up on monkfish seeing as how I had more money than I knew what to do with. I went and powertrained at shilo village. One day I saw a thread here on TIF about godswords and I saw that the Saradomin Godsword was only 38m!! Unheard of! The ultimate tool for an aspiring slayer such as myself and it was in my reach! I fished a thousand monkfish as fast as I could and cleaned out some junk in my bank (I never realized those seeds were worth that much!) and I had it. The best (imo) godsword. I was broke though so I rented it out and went back to fishing. The day came when I achieved my second goal of 99 fishing. The next day I went a-slayin. The ultimate slayer tool, the saradomin godsword, began to disappoint me as the bandos version had. I found the healing totally un needed most of the time, and not enough the rest of the time. I sold the saradomin godsword and bough back my guthans. At about this time I was told about the profiting power of Managing a Kingdom and herb faming. I started farming ranarr herbs between tasks and I became pals with the folks over in miscelania (not to mention the 7.5m I entrusted then with!). But even with the 100 herb seeds and topped off kingdom, I still had over 20m that was burning a hole in my pocket. Dragonfire Shield? I got a rune defender. Bandos? I like guthan's. Summoning? Well, yea but getting 68 would only be about 2m. Not only did I have a stack of coins that was far to large but I had money still coming in! the new slayer points update had me getting a free 250 death runes every 2 or so tasks! Then I was shown the evils of the cannon. The rush I got doing damage to 5 dagannoth's at once and finishing tasks far faster than I'd ever imagined. It was great. I began to buy cannonballs in the Thousands and I couldn't wait for my next kalphite task. Not only that but between all my new moneymakers and the lowered cost of cannonballs I could do this all day!!! I had no idea that I was causing my family, friends, and everyone around me immense trouble. It seemed every task I was sent on, People ran in fear of what horrible thing a terrible cannon user such as myself might do. I continued on my self-destructive path for weeks. I thought to myself "I can stop anytime I want!" and "These people just wish they had as cool a cannon as mine!" I hit rock bottom one day when I got called a sad noob under the lighthouse... And so now I turn to you, the people at Cannons Anonymous, how can I break my addiction to this fiendish tool?
  9. You compared them to all the skills "around". they are the most afk-able skills around. Are they the easiest? not in my opinion.
  10. http://tip.it/runescape/?page=construct ... _guide.htm scroll to the herald part.
  11. Guess you do have a point there. But still, I'm sure a majority of those people with 99 Strength didn't choose that method for their leveling. With skills like Woodcutting and Cooking, there really is no other alternative. I compared strength to firemaking. Not cooking or woodcutting. I put strength (and attack and defense...) at about equal to woodcutting and above cooking. Simply because of xp rates. If they have 85+ slayer along with it (A 99 stat will get you 85 slayer) then I automatically put it with firemaking hunter and other clicking skills.
  12. I check the guide and I check the reward so I don't wind up with something like terrorbirds added to my task list.
  13. Let's say you kill a monster with 100 Hp. That's 400 Str Xp per AFK session. Now compare that to how much Xp you get from one Fletching, Cooking, Woodcutting, Crafting, Herblore, Fishing, or Smithing AFK session. aggressive mobs + auto-retaliate lol. I can train strength for sessions of 5-10 minutes withough clicking in damis's lair. imagine bandits or something.
  14. combat skills are the most afk-able skills around. I think FM is better than a Str cape, because fm costs money (Str makes money), requires many clicks, (Str is one every 15 minutes if you're in certain places), and if these claims about zombies are true it's about half as fast. I don't really have much of an opinion about cook or fletch. They're both pretty cool but not really rare enough to wow me.
  15. I've owned every godsword barring Armadyl. They all were pretty disappointing tbh.
  16. yea yea, I know about the whole slayer sucks thing. I don't care it's the only skill for me that doesn't get boring. I'd probably only cannon dags, kalphites, and bloodvelds since I'd prefer the melee xp (and those are the only real good cannon tasks i have unblocked) I don't ever grind for cash but I'm sure that if I did I'd break 400k anyways.
  17. I just want a ballpark here. 10k, 100k, whatever you think.
  18. about how many could I expect to use if I cannon dags, kalphites, and the like? I want to know if it would be worth picking up a cannon sometime.
  19. aren't outies mostly on young children? I have a huge crevice in my beer gut that I can only assume is my belly button.
  20. thats bull. It'd go: You grab the girls butt, when she turns around she slaps you and you can't do anything.
  21. herb farming and mtk are great ways to pick up a few 100ks while doing your everyday stuff.
  22. you only get slayer xp after the kill.
  23. how would you do the million point thingy?
