Theres something people overlook... Dharok's Greataxe has a very large strength bonus. You don't need to stand around and lower your health before using it. Just fight like normal and you'll hit higher when your HP drops even if you don't notice. (I alch at the duel arena an the Dharok's users and Ancients are the ones who win the most)

Slayer Master - Questions Answered! Thanks, please close.
Roberthree replied to equal_ibrium's topic in Help and Advice
I always use the edgeville guy. His assignments aren't to hard but are in large numbers so I can stay at one spot for a while. Plus a glory amulet and games necklace can take you to and from the slayer masters quite easily. -
Sbsolutly cheapest way to get 99 fletching?
Roberthree replied to superb3rra's topic in Help and Advice
Yews if you alchemize them. EDIT- Stringing yews is the cheapest and fastest so you should string them. I used unstrung willows to get to 70, only cost about 200k -
55 slayer, the appropriate house portals, and any alter in your house are useful.

Wear full rune. Same magic attack penalties, better defence.
-
Lol, how much do you want to spend? :P Personnaly I think a magic shortbow with your best ranged armor and a cannon all at the same time is the best range xp available. But its kind of like leveling magic with ancients...to expensive to be any use. I've never used a Chinchompa before, but I hear that they splash...Try em at PC. use it on one of the stacks of monsters by the portals.

I'm not a very good "what to do first guy" but I reccomend that you only train melee combat while training slayer. That way you can get about 4 of those things on my list done at the same time. So, fart around and level other stuff while you wait for members. Try cursing your magic level up. Save your melee training for when you have slayer.

(I skimmed most of this, so forgive me if I'm repeating someone) Dharok's is godly xp when used in combination with PC. Even without, its damage output is so large the xp is rapid no matter were you use it. I checked out your character, he has 43 prayer. As long as you stay in an area with monsters who use only one attack style, and have enough ppots, you'll be fine. Bring about 3 sharks and an Ectophial until you get used to it, if the little (/) thing above your head dissapears and you're out of ppots eat as many sharks as you need and empty your ectophial. Also eat the sharks if your hp drops to an uncomfortable level. Wear a ring of life until you get used to it. Try toying with it at the Duel Arena if you want to try it out at the lowest risk possible, once you get used to it I'm sure it will be a great tool for all your strength training and staking needs =D

Its a some-what powerfull spell that needs 55 slayer and 50 magic to use. Has 19 max damage. Often used because certain monsters *coughorminigamescough* drop the runes needed to cast the spell. This is good because you can stay at the spot longer, and make more of a profit.

A good monster killer has: at least 70 attack and defense for Guthans The highest strength you can get 55+ Slayer for Slayer dart A decent magic level for teleports, alchemy, ect. 70+ range for Black Dragonhide or Karil's gear (Magic defence) A high prayer level (the higher prayer the better, those protection prayers have limits) Verac's for KQ killing Dharok's for mass amounts of low-mid level monsters. (Can be used on some higher level monsters as long as you don't run out of prayer!) And a clan! you don't plan to solo the DKs do you? Well maybe you do, but then there won't be any profit! Keep in mind that a monster killer is very different from a PKer/staker. Pkers/Stakers tend to avoid prayer and defence to keep their combat level low. A monster killer needs prayer and defence or he won't last long. A big difference is that Combat Level doesn't matter in monster killing. A level 126 player can attack a level 3 monster, and likewise a level 333 monster can attack a level 3 player!

:wall: These threads are slow paced, you don't need constant bumps and to tell us your online status. If you --really-- need to add something, click "edit" and type EDIT- I'm logging off for the night, I'll check this thread in the morning I see no logical reason to make 3 posts in the same thread, in a half-hour timespan. And on another note: This is help and advice, you seem to be turning this into a blog.... -

Quit double posting, do you see the edit button? its not just for show. -
Yea, or you could skip the hastle and type "Open" and get someone to do the running for you >_> Its fast, its cheap, its simple...whats the big problem with it?

About 200-500 depending on your agility.

Ironicly, you said that right as I went to add food to the list.

Dharok's and Guthans have many uses. Dharok's is the ultimate Staking tool, you can kill most people in 2-3 hits at low health, plus you're still hitting pretty hard at full health. Dharok's is useful for wiping out slayer tasks quickly, burthoping a task is not as annoying since you can wipe out those monsters in one hit, and tasks with giants and such are done quickly as well. Dharok's is also godly for strength training, when combined with a Dwarven Rock Cake and PC the xp is rapid. Be warned: Dharok's set takes a bit of skill to use, you need to know when to eat, prayer, or flee. A mistake could cost your millions. Guthan's! alot of people think this is the best, but I think its only for slaying or high level monster killing. When I was alching at the Duel Arena I saw a guy with Dharok's and a guy with Guthan's. The guy with Dharok's was winning millions but the guy with Guthan's lost constantly. So only get this if like killing -Monsters- Keep in mind Dharok's has the same defence as Torag's.

(Note: This post is just a checklist for myself, So I don't forget anything. If you see anything wrong, please let me know.) 400 blood runes (200k) 80k to buy my other staff 150 deaths(check) Air staff(check) 800 airs (need to craft) 300 fires (need to craft) Prayer potions(check) I think thats everything.

Ok, I'll use wind blast with about 12 doses of ppot... Do I have to do all 100 casts of the god spell at once? Can I do it in four 50-cast sessions so that if I die I can bounce back easier?

Agreed. I got from 30 prayer to 43 prayer in about 1-2 hours with that method. -
Um, yea....Thats exactly what you're doing. You get rapid RC xp at the cost of not getting any runes for yourself.
-
Bah humbug. thats 5k every 4 runs spent on a ring. Go to world 16 airs, say "Open-Crafting 4x and ess back". Put public chat on hide so you can see your trade requests easily :P just give them noted 25 ess and 100 airs, rinse and repeat. alot cheaper than spending a bunch on rings. Keep in mind a Ring of Dueling is 5k and you use one every 4 trips....

anyone have full 3rd age melee? (not buying)
Roberthree replied to HexiledRazz's topic in Help and Advice
It only degrades during actual combat :/ Even if you play frequently, I doubt you will go through 15 hours of combat quickly. I'm guessing about once a week if you fight alot. If you're just skilling, It won't degrade unless you get attacked. But Third Age armor is like a Paryhat, theres better stuff but it shows you're loaded. BTW- You get 213 full barrows set repairs for the cost of a single Third Age Platebody. Thats 3195 hours of combat. I don't think you'll ever go through 3195 hours of combat. So yea, degrading is still cheaper than Third Age. But I'm also the guy who claims partyhats are a waste if you plan to keep them...Third Age is just silly, its prices will go down not up. Barrows armor is stronger than Third Age aswell, so Third Age is a total waste of resources. Summary: Barrows > Third age Always -
Chaos Guantlets - do they work in ancient magicks as well?
Roberthree replied to Keyser520's topic in Help and Advice
Lol, I think adding more damage to the already strong ancient spells is...well, I like it actually. Overpowered FTW! -
Give it another few weeks, the price is dropping like a sack of bricks tied to a lead weight.
