I think I'll get Saradomin Strike first. I like the way linkzelda30 put it. (fr33 w4ip pl0x) Guthis Claws next, because by the time I'll have a second spell I'll be good at PC. I'll save Zammy Flames for when I decide to do Castle Wars. It'd be funny seeing an Ancient Mage unable to use his Ice Barrage :P

the Flail for it's prayer boost, the Greataxe for the set effect, or a whip for its general usefulness. Downside is the Flail is the weakest weapon, The Greataxe is slow, and the whip can't train strength (Strength is the only melee stat I want to get really high) Opinions?

NO! NO! NO! NO! Bad idea! I skipped all 6 brothers and Torag and Dharok both sprung out and attacked me! Say goodbye to safe spotting with 4 brothers breathing down your neck. 2 brothers at the same time = Bad

Title. I want a defender :P
-
I've been told that Guthix's defence lowering isn't that strong.
-
Okaaaayyy...Which one should I get first?
-
Use a Black Mask with slayer tasks. Extra damage means more xp.

I can't decide which god spell to get :/ I'm getting close to 60 mage, I'll be getting a god spell soon...But I can't choose. Flames of Zamorak lowers magic levels, that can cripple another mage... Saradomin Strike attacks prayer, can rip apart people who use redemtion or protection prayers. Claws of Guthix can be auto-cast, saving time and preventing mistakes in battle. Argh! can't choose, someone help.

Dragon Scimitar? Bah Humbug, get an Anchor!
Roberthree replied to Roberthree's topic in Help and Advice
Ooh! Theres a guide for that? *Adds to bookmarks* -
Actually, that would be more of a response to my question.... But yea, I saw a guy who said that a Barrelchest Anchor was better strength xp than a Dragon Scimitar. Is that true? It makes sense to me... Hits twice as hard but only a bit slower.
-
If you're trying to get high strength, go for Dharok's. Only use it in a safe place though >_>. Just imagine hitting a 40 and getting 320 xp for it. Also good for staking.

I'm really trying to make money and magic xp at the same time. If someone died down there, that would be an added bonus. :-w I used to do it at the Duel Arena, but I might switch now.

(I love vague titles) I read some where that Dharok's Crypt is a good place to high alchemy items. It sounds like a cool idea. But I don't want to get killed with several thousand nats on me. Do the Barrows brothers only attack the person who opens the coffin?
-
You need several Rings of dueling... Teleport to duel arena Glider to Karajma Get your nats Teleport to CW, bank Teleport to duel arena Repeat Or you could skip CW and bank at the arena. Its slower though.

Need 40k (please help, is for buying the thing of my dreams)

Go run laws or nats, it'll take you under 10 minutes to get the money. No one likes beggers :shame: -
*and now for the thrilling tale of my daring Barrows adventure* *I decided to make a suicide trip to test the waters* I expected a gruesome death when I arrived at the Barrows, For this reason I only brought a few of my best things. I withdrew My Rune Plate and legs from the Caniffis Bank, and equiped them along with my Dragon Longsword. I was never a fan of Caniffis, it always smelled bad. But back to the tale...I brought 3 sharks with me and my druid pouch. As I ran south towards Mort'Ton I was assaulted by several ghasts, but by a stroke of luck most of them missed me...I arrived at the Barrows with all 3 of my sharks still fresh and tasty. I thought about who I should face (And die to) first. I knew how deadly Dharok was, and I was hoping to see this mighty swing of his. I dug over Dharok's crypt and entered. I quickly switched my protect from melee prayer on and opened his coffin. I braced myself for what was to come...But all was quiet. I looked down into his tomb and found a tunnel. At this point I remembered the tales of the danger of Dharok in the tunnels, but I was going to die either way. I entered the tunnels, I was alert and keeping both eyes open to watch for Dharok's mighty axe. I opened one door, then another, then one more! after I had opened several doors I began to think I was safe. I opened a door and found a long slender tunnel. I entered and before I could move I saw a red "35" near my head. Dharok was there! I quickly go to switch my protection prayer on, but I'm out of prayer! I begin to panic and I run. That fool Dharok got stuck behind a rock! I began to think I might be able to get out of here alive! I loosened the lid on my Ectophial ready to pour it on the ground. I ate one of my sharks and continued. As I entered another door I was attacked! But not by an axe, but a hammer! Torag was attacking me! I dodged his blows and ran. I shut a door in his face and wedged it shut with a rock. I turn around and realise "I'm in the treasure room!". I eat one more shark and open the chest. Suddenly Dharok was attacking me again! I dodged his axe once, but then got hit by his blunt edge. I began to panic, I quickly took what I could from the chest. Everything began to shake violently! I dumped the Ectophial onto the ground quickly and escaped. I took a deep breath as I reached the safety of the Ectofungus. I checked my inventory to see what I was able to grab and I saw....a warspear, yeah right. It was 106 coins. I was happy to be alive and I'll never forget my low leveled barrows trip...

Bring a Fly Fishing rod, a tinderbox, and an axe to stay there for large amounts of time.

Tagging is --very-- annoying. Not a real threat to any sane PKer, but very annoying. Honestly, they have a better chance of taking me down by luring me into multi then using a group. Tag teamers are just annoying. I can't think of another word, just "annoying". -
Oh, I get it now. I thought you had to do something to a cape to get it trimmed.
-
Hmm, that's a lot of effort to get some death runes... there's much easier ways lol. Jellies and Infernal Mages drop them quite frequently if that's all you're after. Its also so I can say I did Barrows at level 69 :P
-
Why not just leave your cape untrimmed?
-
I wanted runes :P I'm not strong enough to kill them all, but I bet I could kill one of the melee guys. IMO, Getting 50 death runes would be great.
-
Why? shouldn't the trimmed one be rarer? I'm confused...Everyone says a trimmed slayer cape is more common than an untrimmed one...

"A DDS doesn't cost 80k. And Charcoal doesn't give extra Firemaking XP. Oy, what a waste of money....
