  1. ~That's a great idea, actually. Perhaps throwing something more sinister would fit better. Honestly, i could live off to tomatoes for the rest of my life; i really would ENJOY being pelted with them =).~ ~I'll think about these great ideas. Probably i'll revamp Post One tomorrow.~ ~Thanks for your continued help and support.~ ~Homer~
  2. ~It was very popular in the past. It would only be more popular now that there are sooooooo many more Players.~
  3. ~That's also a good idea, but it negates the purpose of The Black Hole =). Perhaps, add the Hall of Shame, but only with the names of people Banned that week or something. Otherwise, people will read the list and The (New) Black Hole will be like any other update: it's really huge for two days, then everyone forgets about it.~
  4. ~Again, you have a point, which is the only real problem with this idea. Becuase no one will realistically serve 10 hours of doing nothing, except autoers (who will be Perm-Banned anyway,) i've come up with this idea.~ ~Instead of the actualy Players wandering around, Jagex could create mirror images of them, wearing what they had when they were Banned, same Level, ect. These "zombies" would wander around The Black Hole for others to see. Maybe when you "Examine" them, it tells you when and why they were Banned?~ ~Thanks for your continued responses. I'm much happier to have constructive criticism than Spam =).~
  5. ~I got level 12 Theiving (i think, maybe more, maybe less) from Men and Women in Lumbridge =).~
  6. ~Thanks to all the Supporters so far. Might take this to the RSOF later today.~ ~PICTURES NOW ADDED!!! WHOOOOOOOO!~
  7. ~Yes, i've figured that might be a problem. I was thinking you might have to serve x amount of hours to be released, and if you were Perm-Banned, it would tell you, say "10 Hours to go." Then it will go down to 0, and it will say, "Sorry, you've been Permanently Banned." This makes people serve their time, no matter what.~ ~As for crashing servers, i was thinking of adding five new "Black Hole Servers," where all the Banned people go to. Either that or making replicas of Banned people and placing them in the Worlds they were Banned in.~
  8. ~Good job on 99 Construction, i loathe you for having my Cape =). If i were you, i'd stay away from Saradomin Brews as much as humanely possible. You lose over 2000 Gp per potion. Try Antifires, Super Restores (even though they're a pain to buy, you don't lose much, if it all,) Super Strengths (buy the Defence + Attacks,) or even Magics =S.~ ~This is coming from the guy with 41,000 Brews (32,000 Left.) I think he'd know NOT TO EVER DO BREWS AGAIN, atleast not until prices hike back up.~ ~Goodluck - Homer~
  9. ~By the end of this year, i hope to break 25M Herblore Experience, so i need YOUR HELP!~ ~CURRENT HERBLORE EXPERIENCE - 10,000,000 (10M) - Level 96~ ~Currently Trading Sara Brews for Toadflax.~ ~Essentially, what you do is...Farm for me...FOR FREE!~ ~My goal is around 25,000,000 (25 Million) Herblore Experience. For this, i need tons of Herbs...So, you're employed!~ ~The Steps~ 1. Come to me (please PM me ingame. My RSN is "Homer S 777.") 2. Trade me the Colatteral Price (explained later) for as many Herb Seeds of your choice as you want to Farm for me. 3. Farm the Seeds. 4. PM me again, and come to me again 5. I'll trade you back your Colatteral for the Herbs you've produced from the Seeds. 6. We repeat this until you want to stop. ~YOU GET FREE FARMING EXP! I SUPPLY THE HERB SEEDS!~ ~This is information about the Herbs. Please use it to help you choose what you would like to Farm for me.~ ~Herbs in Bold mean i have them in stock.~ ~Colatteral Prices are normally around 5 times the price of the Herbs you produce. The average Farmer gets 5-6 Herbs per Plant, so if i charged any less, you could just take my Seeds and run =S. YOU GET ALL OF YOUR COLATTERAL PAYMENT BACK! If you want more reassurance, you can always sell the Herbs for around the same price as i charge for colatteral.~ Guam Leaf (Colatteral Price - 2,500 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 9 Planting Experience - 11 Picking Experience - 12.5 Marrentill (Colatteral Price - 3,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 14 Planting Experience - 13.5 Picking Experience - 15 Tarromin (Colatteral Price - 3,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 19 Planting Experience - 16 Picking Experience - 18 Harralander (Colatteral Price - 6,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 26 Planting Experience - 21.5 Picking Experience - 24 Ranarr Weed (Colatteral Price - 45,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 32 Planting Experience - 26.5 Picking Experience - 30.5 Toadflax (Colatteral Price - 15,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 38 Planting Experience - 34 Picking Experience - 38.5 Irit Leaf (Colatteral Price - 10,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 44 Planting Experience - 43 Picking Experience - 48.5 Avantoe (Colatteral Price - 10,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 50 Planting Experience - 54.5 Picking Experience - 61.5 Kwuarm (Colatteral Price - 27,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 56 Planting Experience - 69 Picking Experience - 78 Snapdragon (Colatteral Price - 50,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 62 Planting Experience - 87.5 Picking Experience - 98.5 Cadantine (Colatteral Price - 15,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 67 Planting Experience - 106.5 Picking Experience - 120 Lantadyme (Colatteral Price - 12,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 73 Planting Experience - 134.5 Picking Experience - 151.5 Dwarf Weed (Colatteral Price - 17,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 79 Planting Experience - 170.5 Picking Experience - 192 Torstol (Colatteral Price - 17,000 Each) Time to Grow - 75 Minutes Planting Level Required - 85 Planting Experience - 199.5 Picking Experience - 224.5 ~~~ ~Please either leave a message telling me what you'd like to help out with or PM me through Tip.It or ingame, saying the same. If you have any questions, please do the same.~ ~All help is greatly appreciated. In a few weeks, i'll be out there Farming with you guys (hopefully i'll get 99 Farming this summer. =)~ ~Please try to do even 100s of Seeds, for the sake of math.~ ~If you decide to stop halfway through some Seeds, i'll take what you have. You still get all of your Colatteral back.~ ~~~ ~Thanks~
  10. ~Positive comments - 1, negative comments - 0! 100% Whooo!~ ~Thanks lol =)~
  11. ~Copyright - Homer S 777 - The Platypus - 2 PM - May 26 - 2007~ ~Summary of the Black Hole (Credited to runescape.wikia.com)~ The Black Hole The Black Hole was Jagex's early punishment system back on RuneScape Classic. It existed throughout most of 2001 but was removed by December of that year. The Black Hole was a place where players who were found to be behaving badly were sent into. It was essentially a place of total blackness where the players could not move or teleport out of. Players were sent there for an indefinite period of time before being taken out. The Black Hole consisted of the void space outside the programmed areas. Players who were sent into the Black Hole would have their law runes removed to prevent them from teleporting out. A lot of players began deliberately misbehaving to see what it was like to be inside of the black hole, so eventually Andrew Gower programmed a clone of the Black Hole, dubbed "The Black Hole Experience". Players went into the western section of the Dwarven mine (to where Boot the Dwarf can be found on present-day RuneScape) and purchased a Disk of Returning from a dwarf named Thordur for 10 coins. Once a player had a Disk in their inventory they were allowed to go down the ladder into the mock black hole. The Black Hole Experience was eventually removed, along with the real thing, due to players attempting to scam one another by claiming that "something really cool" would happen if players dropped the disk while in the hole, effectively trapping them until Jagex rescued them. This was before the game system could prevent players from dropping certain items, and almost 6 years before the Lumbridge Home Port spell was added to the game. Postbag from the Hedge #6 gives the storyline reason of why the Black Hole was removed. In RuneScape Classic there exists some bugs that allow the player to walk through certain walls and into the void. One early player, M_Oldfield, was known to be sent to the Hole for macro use, and was the only known player to escape from the Hole. ~My Suggestions~ ~Bring BACK The Black Hole~ Why? Because Banned Players should be made into examples. Roman generals used to carry around their conquered enemies....In cages. Players can easily break the Rules in RuneScape and make another account. Therefore, they don't experience the pain that should be inflicted while being Banned. This should force Players to behave better. Scammers, Lurers, and Autoers will diminish quickly, due to the "3-Ban, Bam Rule," which is explained later. If you are Temporarily Banned, you WILL end up in The Black Hole. After your time is up, you will be reset in Lumbridge, wearing what you were wearing before you entered The Black Hole. ~The "3-Ban, Bam Rule"~ There will be a limit to the number of banned accounts one IP may have in The Black Hole. After three Permanently-Banned accounts, their IP should be banned permanently. This applies to Permanent Bans only. Temporary Bans for Offensive Language and such offences will NOT count towards this three. ~Plate of Re-Entry~ THE DISK OF RETURNING WILL REMAIN A RARE! Instead, a new Item, the "Plate of En-Entry" will be added. It will have four options. They will be "Use," "Information," and "Examine." The "Examine" will be, "Used to access The Black Hole." The "Information" option will tell you how many Players are currently in The Black Hole. The "Destroy" option is self-explanatory, because we all need to take out our anger on pixels sometimes. They will not be stackable. They will not be tradeable. THEY WILL NOT BE DROPPABLE, ANYWHERE. They will be sold by the General Store in Falador. The Plate of Re-Entry will look like this: ~Location and Colors~ The Black Hole will be located....It will look like a simple Portal. It will be in a black and red Marble stone, with a "bloodshot" effect. This means it will be black with red lightning bolt-shaped crevices of red in it. The stone will be shaped like a House Portal. Instead of a pretty, purple Portal, the Portal will be black and red, as is the Ardougne House Portal, which can be found in a Portal Room in a House. It will have three options. They will be...The "Use Plate," which uses up a Plate of Re-Entry from your Inventory, allowing you to enter The Black Hole. The "Look Into" option, will say, "I would have to really mess up to get myself in there!" And finally, the "Examine" option, will say, "The Portal...To who knows where?" The Black Hole will be located in the southwestern-most part of Falador, near the "Under the Wall" shortcut, heading to Rimmington. This is the Portal to The Black Hole (credited to me! Whooo!) This is what The Black Hole will look like, from the inside. ~Extra Information~ -Players WILL be able to move in The Black Hole -The "Follow" and "Trade" options will not be available to Players in The Black Hole. The Chat Interface will not move, even if characters are typed -All Players in The Black Hole, will be "Examine-able" to Players spectating. It will say, "A rulebreaker." -Other Banned Players will appear GRAY in the mini-map to inhabitants of The Black Hole -Temporarily-Banned Inhabitants will be allowed to wear whatever they were wearing before they entered The Black Hole when they leave. If they are Permanently Banned, THEY WILL NOT BE ALLOWED TO WEAR ANYTHING.~ -Spectators will be allowed to talk, but the Inhabitants of The Black Hole will not be able to hear or see the words being spoken outside the Wall. -Inhabitants of The Black Hole will appear RED in the mini-map to spectators -A Wall, preferrably a glass tinted black, will surround the Inhabitants from the Spectators in The Black Hole area. ~Any Suggestions? Comments? Questions? Support? Advice? Criticism? Ideas? Feel free to PM me through Tip.it or ingame (my RSN is in the first line of this post.)~ A Special thanks to the World 27 Rouge's Den Cookers from 1-2 PM on May 26, 2007 and everyone else who's helped.
  12. ~I pronounce it "Are-Dune." I wonder how you pronouce the Tzhaar places though, and the Elven ones =).~
  13. ~Well, here's the funniest forum one ever...I have more in the "Post Your Screenies Here" Thread.~ ~The funny post is by "Murtagh00000" two from the top. (I get scammed frequently...)
  14. ~I figured i'll break even make around 21M Airs (from Level 70, which is where i am now.)~ ~I want to know if Natures or Laws are faster. I know i'll lose a ton more on them, though.~ ~I can sell 21M Airs for 315M, at the least, so if i spend 100M on essence, i'll break almost even.~
  15. ~You can easily get 500k Crafting Exp per hour with Green Bodies.~
  16. ~If you want it fast, plan on losing 60M. That assumes you're making 60000 Green Dragonhide Bodies (or 11M exp.) You lose around 1000 Each per Body.~ ~That's probably the best way to do it. It's hard to profit, so i'd suggest simply doing it fast.~
  17. ~3rd Age Meele Kiteshield (around 10 in the game, or so.)~
  18. ~Go to World 18 or 22. Say "Mage-Staking 100k - Obstacles On." Fight the Duel. I guarantee you'll lose~
  19. ~Tell me, honestly, have you ever seen a *FAIR* Obstacles-On Stake?~ ~No, that's what i thought.~
  20. ~As you may or may not know, there's an option of turning "Obstacles" On/Off in the Duel Arena. With it Off, there's a simple, flat space for Duels to take place. With it On, there are (who could guess...) Obstacles!~ ~Dueling with Obstacles leads to three terrible points:~ -Unfair Stakes - where one player hides and can attack the other player, whereas they cannot attack back -X-Logging - Logging Out while the Duel is in effect by clicking the "X" in the upper-right-hand corner of your browser -Cheating - tricking other Players to Duel you by saying things like "I'm only Level 60, you're Level 80! 2x Me!" (Little do you know, being the Level 80, that the Level 60 has an aptitude at cheating by hiding behind obstacles, and 99 Magic.) ~All in all, winning a Stake with "Obstacles" on only states that you are a better cheater, which is nothing to boast about.~
  21. ~Please let me finish writing next time guys =S.~ ~Reserved for whatnot.~ ~You may post.~
  22. ~V. - Closing & Disclosure~ ~I WILL KEEP A NUMBER OF SUPPORTERS ON POST ONE. IF IT GETS TO THE POINT WHERE A LIST IS NECESSARY, A LIST WILL BE MADE.~ ~By now, you're probably thinking "When will it end?" Well, this is it.~ ~Please don't say "Oh my god! You hate Pures/Magic/Ect." I'm Level 96 Magic. I've trained it through Pest Control, with some Alching (no more than 25,000 Yew Longbows.) I hate Alching now, as i see i've helped contribute to what i dislike. If you feel i've used the word "Pure" stereotypically, please let me know. I'm not trying to discriminate, but you have to admit, most "Obstacle-Stakers" are Pures between Level 50-80 Combat, with 94-99 Magic.~ ~Abide by ALL of the Forum Rules~ ~No Spamming/Flamming/Hi-Jacking/Copying In Part or In Whole/Picutres~ ~Thanks~ ~Homer~
