  1. This is essentially what I was thinking... they wouldn't want everyone crowding at the best monsters/resources to gain the fastest or "best" experience. However, this doesn't explain why they don't tell us how Items like the Penance Horns and functions like lsp work. Trust me, trying to figure out how a horn that doesn't use percentages to fill (why isn't it just like a Rapier?! That would be so logical!) over the course of five-six hours and 100-something waves of BA is not exciting.
  2. This is sort of a general question... Is there anything preventing Jagex from releasing a little bit more information about the Items and processes in RuneScape? As in, why don't they just release the formulas that pertain to how drop rates work (what drop rates actually ARE would be nice, too!), how hits are calculated, how lsp works, and how Items like the Penance/Master Penance Horns' charge rates work? In short, why are we being kept in the dark from using methods and knowledge that would better help us go about playing the game?
  3. Are you sure about that? I've seen a million different speculations about how it actually works. Confirmation would be great. Is it really as simple as "You get one percentage point of Horn charge per wave of BA played?"
  4. Do you have any idea how much time it would take to fill the horn doing it that way? I've heard five hours for doing it the "waves 1-10 ten times" method.
  5. I'll look into "hornblowers," thanks. How would they even know if I was filling my horn or BAing for points?
  6. Are there clans or other groups that specialize in filling Master Penance Horns efficiently? If not, I suppose the most reasonable follow-up question would be: Are there a few efficient clans that simply play BA well enough for me to use for the purpose of filling my Horn? Thanks
  7. Precisely. But... If you're going to grind, and you care nothing for Effigies, at least train in the Monkey Madness dungeon. With a familiar (I just tested it using a Swamp Titan, haha), I was able to get 151,500 experience in just under an hour with 97 Attack and 96 Strength. It's definitely faster than AZs.
  8. Can Energy Transfer be cast repeatedly at the new Livid Farm, or is there a time limit between casts or something to that effect? (In short, do I ever have to train Agility the normal way again?!)
  9. What is the fastest way to gain Runecrafting experience with runners? What do these methods cost, and what rates of experience do they yield? Thanks!
  10. I would pay: Gold - 1k Green - 1.5k Crim - 6k Blue - 10-12k Effigy - 5M, 6M? Easy - under 5k Medium - under 50k Hard - under 100k Elite - a few million (not that I ever do clues, anyway!)
  11. Isn't it faster to do 1-6 ~17 times than it is to do 1-10 ten times?
  12. 1) I'm 87 Mining... I've heard that a full Master Horn will last me about 700k experience... Is this an accurate estimate, low, high? 2) How long (in hours) does it take to fill a Master Horn? 3) Do I repeat waves 1-6 for maximum Horn-filling speed? 4) Does the Horn stack with SC tools? (e.g., I'm hitting a rock for 100 experience. The Horn should make it 200. Will an SC Pickaxe make it 300 or 400 experience in total?) Thanks!!
  13. Hi Enaid =). What is the fastest way of gaining pc points, then?
  14. 1) Is there a world where people play conquest? As in, there are pc worlds for pc... is there a conquest one somewhere? 2) Is conquest a faster way of gaining commendations than pc? If so, how do I get the most commendations in the least amount of time?
  15. What should I be using for normal dging, then? Are there options based on play style, or is there one "best" one?
  16. As far as i tried it(and i only tested a few spots) neither artisan nor gatherer do anything for fishing spots, but gatherer wouldn't be helpful anyway as you don't get xp for extra resources. So I should just leave it on Tactician or whatever while fishing for the most efficient experience?
  17. This is a great discussion thus far... thanks a bunch =). Should I be using the Gatherer's ring? Is T7 good enough for it?
  18. Can someone please explain to me the method by which it's possible to gain over 100k experience per hour? Step by step would be nice, but whatever you can contribute helps greatly. Much appreciated; thanks!
  19. Was there anything similar to this in that quest that unlocks the bank deposit box in Rimmington? I feel like that quest had a similar "put in here, take out there" feature...
  20. I vaguely, vaguely remember there being a quest that I did many years ago with a scenario similar to this... does anyone remember which it was?: You put some items (I can't remember which) into a box or crate or barrel or something in one place, and then (somehow) they get transported to another... It might have had something to do with bananas? Sorry for the weird and vague question, but it's driving me insane not knowing =p.
  21. That would be wonderful... I doubt they'll beat cave crawlers, though ;).
  22. The Tip.It guide says that there's a new kalphite area unlocked after finishing the quest. Does anyone have pictures/numbers as to what's in there? Is it multicombat? Is it more useful than cannoning Soldiers in the Kalphite Hive? Cheers.
  23. I recall getting gp, but I never got any items with dragon scimitars. That being said I only pickpocketed a handful during the quest so that's not conclusive data at all. I can now answer this myself. If you return the six monkey knives for to the Three Wise Monkeys (step 16 in the Tip.It quest guide,) you can then return to Ape Atoll and pickpocket the monkey knife fighters for all of their normal drops. If you don't finish this step of the quest, you will only get gold.
  24. Do you also get the "drops" (stolen things) during the quest?
  25. Is it necessary to FINISH "Do No Evil" to pickpocket them? The tip.it quest guide says I have to; wikia says I don't. Confirmation either way, please?
