It's standard metal armor. Why would it have a strength bonus? Bronze - Metal Iron - Metal Steel - Metal Black - Metal Mithril - Metal Admant - Metal Rune - Metal Dragon - Metal? Ain't it made out of dragon? I never thought of dragon as a metal, but it seems that it must be true because ranger dragon hide is made of dragon hide and so normal dragon armour must be a metal as it can't be made of hide as it would then be the same as ranger dragon hide. confused pl0x? Actualy dragon is more likely related to dragonkin and not made out of any dragon hides/bones/any other parts of dragons...

I have to disagree 100% on those statements IMO all barrows pieces look awesome. And I could never find something to complain about the looks. EDIT: double post srry Barrows was just an example (and personaly I think if you think (and look) about it enough you might find it not so good looking but that's not the point) and I'm 100% sure you can find something else that most (or atleast some) people think looks ugly but has great stats but no one complains. My point is - looks is not such a big deal in RS and even if you think something looks bad, if you think the stats are good there is no reason not to wear it and if you're gonna complain about something try complaining about the price compared to stats...

Hey can anyone try talking with the guy that helps you with barbarian training about the book? First try talking to him with it in your inventory and if it won't work try pressing 'use' on the book and then on him and tell us if anything happend. P.S. by the way the more pages you have the bigger chance something will happend IMO. P.S.S. and if you tried and nothing happend try again when you got all pages.

Well i got tired of seeing everyone saying how ugly it is or talking about how it makes you fat or the [bleep]es/feathers on the back or the chin or the eyes or anything! So let me tell you 2 things: 1)I'ts a game! you're not supposed to look beautiful (but, to admit the truth, i sometimes pick same color outfit but it doesn't really matters if it makes me look fat or short!). 2)Look at the (melee) barrows armors! And look at the helms! well if you want you can see what I wrote about each of the helms and its not that I hate the helms, the helms are great - good defence bonus and with a full set has a special ability that helps a lot but you've got to admit it looks bad! oh and 1 last thing no flaming about this please.

Actualy a total level requirement will almost eliminate 90% of the p2p bots...But the bigger problem is f2p bots - there are 10 times more bots on f2p than p2p and you can't have a total lvl requirement for being f2p (duh! LOL).

Just take my suggestion of getting 128 total!

Well considering he is a mage with 43 prayer he will actualy win. Except that, if he didnt have 43 prayer or if you did you'd win because of that 1 thing called COMBAT TRIANGLE is you have't heard of it it means melee armor and weapons have an advantage over range armor and weapons; range armor and weapons have an advantage over mage armor and spells and lastly mage spells (and not so much of armor) has an advantage over melee armor (and somewhat weapons). Ofcours the combat triangle isn't 100% accurate and a mage could win againsd an archer or a ranger win againsd melee'er but the combat triangle only give you an advantage and not a guranteed victory.

I say - make it so you need to have 128 total (means you actualy leveled 99 times because all the 1s also count for your total). People might say it's too hard to gain 99 levels but it's not hard if you don't train only 1 skill (autoers!) so it won't be that bad and will almost delete all bots from p2p servers but that doesn't solve the bigger problem - f2p bots...

I'm getting really curious! Grr can't anyone figure this out already?!?!?! LOL.

Well...I agree that the game relys on quests too heavily and it's not fair that people who hate quests (I like quests by the way) have to finish quests. Anything good enough requires quests : Ancient spell book. Lunar spell book (2 quests if you want all spells). Dragon scimmy. Dds. Cats. All amulets to speak to other NPCs (catspeak, camulet, ghostspeak, monkey...). Even go to Canifis requires a quest. Not to mention using many of the ways to get around the world (gnome glides, fairy rings ETC). Well , the list is long and people who want to have acces to places or abilities to use special equipment and don't like quests might hate this... But as for your question - I don't think it would be fair to take off the advantage of using quests...

Umm...Range is not the best idea on f2p unless it's high enough...Well this really matters on what you want to use (mage/melee/range) and i suggest having atleast 43 prayer. If you are a team try having atleast 1 of each attack type and as many melee warriors as posible. If melee'ing i suggest having only 40 defence (unless you are a pure) with full rune and strength 7 level higher than your attack (or more...). For range (not recomended to use range to solo unless it's really high on f2p! or if you have a team) have green dragon hides body and chaps (unless you are a pure and then, ofcours, no green body) and make sure you won't get hit much. High prayer is really helpful and the best food you can get. Mages have 3 downsides: A. really bad defence bonuses. B.their f2p spells are not so good. C.mage is t he most expensive methode to pk/train. I don't think it's a good idea to go in maging unless your mage is high or you could be hybrid (means you use mage and range/melee). if you have a team have a big number of melee'ers and mages. Also, if you want, you can try using a lurer - someone with a low level and some rune item or something like this and make someone attack him and that he will run fast to your team where you can all kill him...

Iron scimmy will take long and will be boring... If you want to know the answer you should know it matters how high your range or mage levels are... If you can cast high level mage spells or use ancients (if you're a member) then go for it, if not try using long range with the best arrows/bolts or any other attack methode (and ofcours best bow/xbow too).

I usualy use Varrock west bank. I run up almost to the fountain and then burn logs until im out of logs, go to the bank, take out logs and repeat...Well that's just my opinion...

Actualy if your account is banned it's no longer on the high scores...My sis had all of her f2p stats on the high scores and once she got banned she is no longer there.....

I support the height and build but not the race part because there are quests and other stuff that will be too stupid to be another race... Like - if you were an elf how come they won't let you into elf city? Or how come you can't wear goblin mail as a goblin? How come they won't let you use gnome glider as a gnome? And the many dwarf quests...The list is too big to fit here. Oh and 1 last thing the height part won't fit the dwarf&gnome part since they're supposed to be short...
