  1. waiting for feedback before go anywhere dangerous! since i use degradables it may or may not hit me with dumb donkey tax
  2. One (partial) solution to that would be to implement a gradation-based system, where the penalties of death increase as you move more into the uber-richie crowd. Here are two ways that could be implemented: 1. Location based: Normal locations keep the current system, top tier bosses like Vorago, KK, and Araxor move to the new system, and other bosses (GWD, etc.) fall somewhere in between. This will put the risk back into bossing (where it always should have been), while not drastically changing things for players elsewhere, simply by having dynamic gravestone times. 2. Cost scaling: More or less the new system, but you get discounts on cheaper items. For example, items costing under 100k might cost only 10% of their value, while items over 5M might cost 50%, and items over 100M may cost 90%. The more expensive your equipment, the higher your percent cost. 1.This is alright for the people who have done it a lot, for anybody trying to learn, you can either pay a fortune to learn how to do it or just never do these bosses. Teams won't let you in without good gear, equally they won't normally spend their time in practice mode for you to learn or you'd have to seriously offset the cost. As less people can get into it and less can afford to risk it, item price can raise again from the daft prices they already are (vorago) and make the rich, richer. 2.Meaning that you cant afford to use decent gear unless you have a cash stack double the size, your whole bank could be the items meaning that you have to come up with that money quickly or lose the items. This doesn't really change anything for the rich, for the poor they have to start their bank again from next to nothing meaning they either risk everything or are locked out from high end gear more than ever. The poor and new to things are going to be the ones ruined by this regardless. If you worked %s out off bank value, their whole bank could be items they've saved years for and can't afford to buy back. If it's off cash stack, the rich could easily just spend the cash on rares or leave in the ge with silly bids while a lot of the poorer people wouldn't think of that because they probably spend it on supplies and things a lot more regularly since they can't afford mass stacks of everything they need. Meh.
  3. but there isnt a gap above mahogany that I know of that is more cash thrown away but at a reasonable jump. If there was a bit higher gp/h for decent increase in xp/h it'd be more of a sink. Most is just planks then using the others to polish off after 99. Also (I haven't done this myself so not sure how much it changes), with you getting free protean planks to whatever extent, that's adding a free mahogany plank while youre creating others. How much this offsets the sink I don't know.
  4. Just wait until they add third-age to it. at least it'd give me something to do! kinda aimless atm :/ laptop has a habit of switching off wifi so i have to reset, that plus new death rework means I can do next to nothing now that I still enjoy, meh
  5. i'm 99% it was instanced when i got mine there
  6. aha i wish i paid that for most, usually 2-10x ge price to get in reasonable amount of time, very rarely picked up overnight for med prices, like 250 items or something :S
  7. I am a fan of dung when I'm in the mood for it, it promotes teamwork for increased rates and has variety. It should be better for kicking afkers and for when people lose connection and you can't finish the floor though. I love my house, but cons as a skill is bad. Training something by building and destroying something seems a little silly (not that most skills are better). Though it does have some good rewards and clears a lot of bank space. hunter was my last 99 for a reason, way too clicky, hardly any of the prey has ever been of use to me personally. on a side note, i quite enjoyed divination for some reason, the xp was quite low, but doing it when lots others were and not having to fight for resources it was nice and relaxing whilst being able to talk to randoms. There are also some nice rewards for it which are untradable as well as some decent tradable ones. Hopefully invention/or will bring more use out of it not just junk.
  8. some black screen then tuska and some meteor mining :S that gets mined and explodes into spider things, and a spider to lure* *watch people troll and keep clicking it so it never bloody moves
  9. well this is awkward, thread not needed then!
  10. noooo when you finish you have the 850k points to spend on w/e, well i presume i still have them, i don't farm so a herb patch is no use to me
  11. After the hell which is livid, what is the best thing to spend the points on? cheers :)
  12. they need the prices jacking up, there's something wrong if you lose money from creating a weapon well, one thats counterparts are so so much more
  13. I know they won't drop five at a time, that would make smithing far too easy. I'm just wondering if I can kill at least 5 rune dragons a trip with mostly just sharks in my inventory. I doubt they will be boss monsters though, but I'm sure they'll be harder to kill than mithril dragons. You need to beat Ritual of the Mahjarrat and actually have access to dragonbane ammunition to kill them. So no, you won't be able to kill them with your standard metal dragon setup. That's disappointing. It might be a bit odd that I prefer fighting monsters that I can kill easily, but I really like to get my monster log up quickly. you might be surprised how easy the higher monsters are to kill once you get used to them. Once you know a way that you find comfortable to kill them the kills will fly by and could end up enjoying more, always worth trying other things and giving them a chance.
  14. Maybe I just don't get the joke, but that seems like a piss poor attempt at humor, man :/. Anyway, high alch prices are generally set for a very low price, just for completeness. I'm sure they never thought they would see the day dragon items hit alch values! LOL, Manneke Piss is one of the most famous Belgium monuments, I don't live in Belgium, but the country next to it (the Netherlands), and I think nearly every Dutch person knows about that statue :P (Now I wonder if the Netherlands has one too... except for windmills, tulips and wooden clogs...) light drugs and ladies of the night?
  15. apparently w6 is broken, use others if you need a chit
  16. Here's a tip I actually got from Da_Latios/Hiroki/Mori/Whatever his name is now: At the very beginning, change your prayer to range, so that Araxxi attacks with mage. Then change your prayer to Soul Split. Your armor will actually deflect most of the damage (a surprising amount of damage, I'd like to add). If you can, save your adrenaline up and use Death's Swiftness at about 45k LP, then use Rapid fire at like... 26k lp, if you can. Because then you can sip up adrenaline potion once she drains it, and fire off a snapshot before Death Swiftness ends. ^^ that's my personal favorite, because the rapid fire will get her down to liek 16k, followed by snapshot which will hit like 14k. Well i keep dying in the same way so im gonna bring a phoenix neck or two and try this. C'mon don't leave us hanging... did it work?? I gave it a good 7 tries roughly kept dying on phase 4 had to give it a break for a bit. Working on some slayer/money in the mean time to get some t90 weapons. I've got all the time in the world for comp reqs and money will help with all of them. But i will get araxxor its all a matter of practicing at the moment. Feel bad for posting so much without any screenshots, maybe ill make/revive a blog. have you tried just surviving through on revolution or whatever it is? it's not fast but for just the 1 kill you can concentrate on what you're doing
  17. last 2 days have been miles better for me, almost instant chit and next to no lag, though i have started turning up after half past now
