Why would anyone use the Primal kiteshield instead of the Promethium platebody? Only people with 90 Mining and 99 Smithing should bind Primal at this point, and the legs are better than the Kiteshield. Dungeoneering update this month will make kiteshields useful for tanking. I mentioned it in the post you quoted.

new weapons won't come out in dungeoneering till batch 2 What I meant was that the rings may boost some weapons to be more useful than they are now, while spears may not receive the same benefit, as they can only be used on controlled and defensive. Primal Kiteshield + Primal warhammer/rapier might be a new staple for pro teams, for example.

I suppose this question is a little irrelevant considering the changes we'll be getting next week.

I have no data to back this up, but a CLS might be better against dark beasts, wyverns, and mithril dragons than a rapier. Keyword is "might." I really like this guide. It's nice to look at all of the weapon icons. It's all stuff that I know, but I imagine that it would be very useful for a first time slayer. It's worth noting that a torso is worth using with a SW cape and Verac's skirt when pietying/turmoiling.

I hate people who have primal mauls and tell everyone without a primal maul that they don't know what they're doing. I also hate people who AFK for long periods of time, people who leave prematurely, and people who wont stop saying "come on peeople plz need to leave in five minutes" when we're doing a 5:5 large and we still have ten rooms to open.

They're a hard task at lower levels. You need black d'hide and a zamorakian spear at the very least. You should also use the best prayer boosting cape you can get. Your summoning level will determine whether or not you should skip, though. If you don't have a bunyip, you should probably just skip.

Slayer rings are very useful for quick fairy ring access and getting to the slayer well quickly. I unlocked them second back when Smoking Kills first came out.
