I'm not sure if this is the right place to ask, but I'd like an updated picture of an Arcane Spirit Shield for my avatar. Preferably a picture that it's in the same style as the one I have. Does anyone have anything like that or can anyone make one for me? I would love you forever. <3: <3: Even more points if you can get me the same thing . . . but a Divine Spirit Shield.

VERY excited for this month. A quest by Mod Ash, making dungeoneering actually matter outside of Daemonheim, upgrades to dungeoneering, and what sounds like an AWESOME treasure trail update. I'm actually gonna start doing clues when that comes out. :thumbup:

I agree with this estimate. I've had roughly one effigy per 200k slayer experience, too. I've had 12 so far. And gargs definitely drop them, Mckinzy. :rolleyes:

I've just recently decided that maxing total is my goal in Runescape. I have 99 Slayer and I'm VERY close to maxed combat, after that I'll be going for 99 Runecrafting. Once I get 99 Runecrafting out of the way, I'll be home free. But there's a lot more that I want to do in Runescape, like get 4k chompy kills, get 100 fire capes (because why not?), get profound armor and a professional cape from CW, etc, etc. I have years of stuff to do on my account before I can say that I've beaten Runescape. I love this game. I love reaching my goals, but I love the journey more than anything. It's really weird, cause it's not like it's fun 24/7, but there's something about it that I like.

I think a similar effect as the ferocius ring or fire cape on ice strykes would make more sence(something like +10 damage) as defenders are rather used as offencive equipment. Your idea would only work if the defenders were actually rare and not everyone could afford to use them in wildy. I think we already have enough damage increasing items. People have been clamoring for damage reduction for awhile. I think something to partially protect from specs would probably be a lot more popular than another damage booster. I actually really like that idea, but it'd have to be balanced VERY well.

EDIT: 99 Summoning. Sorry to Saruman44 who couldn't be there. :( Steel titan seemed glitched when I used it at clan wars. The spec would only charge when I wasn't in combat. I can't believe it. I first fell in love with slayer in 2006 after coming back from a very extended break from Runescape. I vividly remember slaying in full rune with a warrior helm and dragon scimitar trying to save money for a black mask. I remember getting a 500k loan from a friend to afford my first set of Guthan's. I remember discovering Zarfot's slayer guide and how it changed the way I slayed (like it did for most people). I remember buying a cannon, getting a fire cape, how the release of Summoning made Slayer so much more fun for me. Everything I've ever done in Runescape has been for the purpose of helping me slay. Unfortunately, I definitely overextended myself both yesterday (321k experience, #7 on Runetracker) and today. I was saving all of my effigies for Summoning, but at 80k to 99 Slayer, my hand was feeling very cramped and was aching pretty badly. I decided to use two dragonkin lamps for the final bit of experience. I'm glad I did. I have to give a HUGE thank you to D Jay99 for lending me his Dragon Claws multiple times for 15-24 hours each time, and for selling me 1k iron titan scrolls. But, I also have to give a huge [bleep] you to him and King Mirthas for crashing me TWICE at nechs a few hours ago, lol. I'd also like to thank the FSC chat for coming to see me get 99 Slayer. I love you guys. Sorry to my friends who couldn't be there -- I love you, too. My immediate goal is 99 Summoning, which I should be getting in the next few days. After that I'll be getting an arcane stream necklace and chaotic rapier, then back to slaying for 99 magic and 99 ranged. Ranged will also be trained while I camp for an onyx using a steel titan. I like the idea, but like another poster said, I'm a bit concerned that they're dabbling in things like this when so much is going wrong in other parts of the game. I'd happily take a break from updates for a while if it meant that they'd spend time fixing the GE. Also, I agree with Morionic that these characters have a lot to live up to. I'm giving Jagex the benefit of the doubt on this one, though, as I like the idea in itself.

I hate the kids that can't find music on their own and have to use last.fm to get it. I usually end up hating the bands that they suggest anyways. And I'm trying my best to not post a pro-Tool paragraph :grin: Bands I hate that all of you probably love and by no means do the following statements have any personal relevance to any one of you so please don't freak out when I call your favorite artist terrible. You are the one that came on the "Most overrated band/artist" thread in the first place: Nirvana---Kurt Cobain couldn't even stay alive to take care of his own daughter. Addict piece of garbage. I don't care how "deep" your lyrics are, your voice still sounds like you're taking a dump. Not to mention that his martyrdom led to the spawning of hundreds of other singers like Shaun Morgan of Seether and 1 in 3 other 2000s mainstream rock vocalists. The Beatles---Blah blah we're on acid and can't play worth a [cabbage] live blah blah. That's all I hear on their albums. Rush---I'm a drummer and I'm even beginning to think these guys are overrated. Now they're not garbage, but their stuff just doesn't do it for me anymore. If all you do is solo bandos and sara, CLS is your weapon of choice. If you do a bunch of different stuff, it's between rapier and maul. Because you don't want a maul, get a rapier.
