The only thing that I like about the boot change is that rune and dragon boots will be rising in price. They're now much more worthwhile to use in PVP.

For your purposes and levels, armored zombies and slayer are your best options. You cannot boss hunt effectively. You can't really compete for green dragons.

I had 44 pairs of climbing boots in my bank. Just alched them for a free 2m. What a ridiculous update.

I've always been able to buy climbing boots from the GE by just waiting for a few hours. I fail to see why this update was necessary in the slightest.

Actually, there are more players becoming high-level than there are new players entering the game. There's a huge number of players with maxed total. Those players have dumped tons of money into Jagex and are unable to fully utilize their skills outside of dungeoneering.

I also got 94 ranged, but I missed the level-up message. I'm less than 1m experience from 99 slayer. My experience counter is at 17m.
