  1. Exactly what i thought about the guy above you lol  Yes, but much more slowly than a CR. With turmoil and extremes, ZS outshines CLS at stabbing.
  2. Using turmoil and overloads with void, Bedman claims to three-hit them pretty often. You should read the post, it's pretty interesting.
  3. If you look at the barrows thread, Bedman posted a setup using void, a rapier, and overloads. It apparently works very well. It's not the best way to do barrows, but it comes close and it's much more straightforward than, say, using a salamander.
  4. I agree. Tons of high level players will visit the frost dragon lair when they feel like relaxing and making good money at the same time. Yeah, TDs and DKs are better, but not every 138 got 138 to go boss hunting. Due to my laggy computer, I would probably be camping frost dragons right now instead of going to TDs (if I had 85 dungeoneering).
  5. Its important to note that prayer bonus does not work linearly. Having +30 prayer is exactly the same as having +20 prayer. You only need about +15 at the very least. BCP provides extra strength and prayer, hence why it's useful (though not worth the price tag if it would cripple your bank). When power slaying, you should always use a DDS or dragon claws for specs, and only use healing familiars in single combat zones. Are you certain about that? This is the first time in 5 years of RS ive heard that. I definitely notice a difference when using a +30 prayer bonus as opposed to +15. Until I can find info suggesting otherwise, I will stick with my statement. I agree with having offensive spec weapons, but if you are powerslaying and do not have summoning, you will need some sort of hp restorer. food is too old fashioned, but can be used. If you're power slaying you use a combat familiar and an offensive spec weapon. Notice that I said +15 is the MINIMUM to use piety or turmoil. You'll notice a slight difference between +15 and +30, but no difference between +20 and +30 (I personally hover around +18).
  6. You're so close to 99 slayer.  Also, I fell out of my chair at your bank pic. I want to see a full price check on that. It has to be insane. Get that last shard.
  7. I'm actually impressed. Good for you.
  8. Slayer helm Glory Guthan's plate Torag's legs Dragon boots Fire cape Abyssal whip Rune defender Warrior ring Barrows gloves This is the cheapest setup for your purposes in accordance to your guidelines. However, this setup is utter trash considering your combat stats, and you should consider using the following instead, which will greatly increase your speed, saving you money in the long run: Full slayer helm Fury Proselyte plate Verac's skirt Dragon boots Fire cape Abyssal whip Rune defender Berzerker ring Barrows gloves Use piety and super sets at all times. Consider that you can sell the expensive parts back for minimal loss but hours of your time saved. You really shouldn't post H&A topics if you're going to shoot down every possible suggestion before they're even made. EDIT: Like it or not, it makes a big enough difference to be worth the price tag, but I suppose you'll ignore this along with the rest of my post.
  9. You can repair pouches using NPC contact, so there's no need to ever visit Edgeville, which is pretty cool.
  10. Question: Do you have any firsthand experience killing tormented demons at max combat? Your stats are far from pro, so I don't understand why you're writing a "pro" guide to killing tormented demons without having any actual experience killing them in a "pro" fashion. You should rename your guide "Imallskillzy's Average Guide to Tormented Demons" and erase all of the sections using equipment, supplies, or familiars that you don't have the levels to use. I know I'm being harsh, but I'd much rather read a guide by Losing Games or Wooox16 on this subject. Your guide will actually fall into a useful niche if you do what I suggest, as you do have a lot of useful information for someone who hasn't been to TDs.
  11. I like quests. I was not offended by the fact that Racheya has "quest phobia." In fact, she never once insulted questers, put down the act of questing, or made any sort of degrading remarks about questing in general. She expressed her fear of questing. SO WHAT THE [bleep] ARE YOU ON ABOUT, SILVERTALER? I'm thoroughly confused as to how someone can be so idiotic, moronic, and illiterate. I'm typically critical of Racheya's articles and writing style, but I do not see how her phobia of questing could have possibly offended anyone.
  12. So you're saying only 138's aren't scared of bosses? I also believe that only expert dragon archers (4k chompy kills) are able to kill chompies. No, that's not what I'm saying. Where in the world did you get that from? I believe it should be a reward for attaining the highest combat level in Runescape. That's all there is to it.
  13. If you're going to disagree, at least say that everyone should be able to left-click bosses. Sorry, but I think that right should be reserved for 138s outside of Daemonheim.
  14. I actually turned around lmao
  15. I'm only gonna be able to afford 88 (MAYBE 89) right now, then gonna get rapier and do TDs with steel titan till I can afford to get at least 92. @SARU: OBVS I DO L0L
  16. Do you have a soul wars cape? For camping at ancient caverns, use this setup: Chaotic maul > Saradomin sword > Zamorakian spear Full void melee Amulet of Fury Dragon boots Soul wars cape > Ardougne cape 3 > Skill cape (t) <> Fire cape What ring you use depends on what weapon you're using. If you have them, use onyx or dstone (i) with the SS or ZS and a zerker ring with the maul. If you don't have imbued rings, just use a zerker ring. Bring two or three bunyips, one or two super sets, EE or D mace for specs (I'd use EE with a bunyip), and like 10-14 prayer potions depending on your cape. Fill the rest of your spaces with monks, and make sure to leave one space open for crimsons.
  17. I'd love for frost dragons to be a possible slayer task (once you have 85 dungeoneering).
  19. And I'm Batman. Prove me wrong.
  20. Like an above poster said, power slaying is profitable in the long run (and gets more profitable with each new slayer monster after 83). Farm runs are essential because a streak of dry, unprofitable tasks could cripple you. With multiple farm runs a day, you can comfortably cannon and piety nearly every task without a problem. When pietying, use one of these three setups, from worst to best: Proselyte body Fire cape Verac's skirt Fighter torso Soul wars cape Verac's skirt Bandos plate Soul wars cape Verac's skirt Alternatively you can use a fire cape with the Bandos setup for an increase in strength bonus and slightly faster prayer consumption. Obviously you should only use the torso setup if you can get one quickly or you already have one for whatever reason. When using piety or turmoil on task, it's important that you maximize your speed so as to not waste time, money, and experience. Piety will not help you if you wait to see each drop before moving on to the next monster, for example. I found slayer to be much more fun when I started using piety (and eventually turmoil).
  21. Interesting update for new players, that's for sure. Prayer will be a little bit easier for the first few days of an accounts life.
  22. You're absolutely right. Nomad being attacked by Lucien's minions and the fact he used to work for a master that he was very afraid of has absolutely nothing to do with Lucien. You're going out on a huge limb by arguing that there's even a slight possibility that this quest has nothing to do with the Mahjarrat storyline. I don't see how it's so hard for you to accept that you're wrong.
  23. If you include the word "general" in your inquiry, the rapier is for you. ;) I have no idea what I'll be getting second, but I'd love to see how well a maul does at waterfiends.
  24. Abyssal demons do tend to hit a lot through Ahrim's. They don't hit hard, obviously, but they're accurate. If you have a bunyip, blessed spirit shield, and EE, go without prayer. If not, just use prayer.
