  1. Well, I suppose I see your logic. This is going to require a lot of work, however. We're going to have remove just about every p2p area in Runescape for PvP worlds. You see, Jagex did not design most areas to be used for PvP. In fact, I think we can safely assume that the Wilderness is the only area in Runescape that was designed with it in mind. So by that/your logic, we need to just scrap about 75% of Runescape. CLEARLY the tree gnome maze, Khazard battlefield, observatory, feldip hunter area, and Al Kharid were not designed for the purpose of attacking other players. I feel that this is bug abuse, and should be dealt with accordingly. You win, Brando. I've seen the light.
  2. I'll join in on the fun. Halloween. [hide=] [/hide]
  3. I don't think anyone here has the energy to go through each and every post of yours to explain why you're wrong. Your logical fallacies are kind of... blatantly obvious. My recommendation to you would be to take a critical thinking class.
  4. Well Brando, I can see you didn't read any of the topic, or you would've noticed the large number of times I've posted in this thread. Let's talk about Lletya for a moment. The leave traps provide the same, if not a nastier advantage, than the ditch. Not only can a warrior not reach a ranger, but if he has a particularly low agility level, he's likely get hurt by falling into the trap. Should we remove the leave traps? OF COURSE WE SHOULD! Vote no on using terrain to your advantage. Hell, why not just get rid of Lletya altogether in PvP worlds? And better yet, let's remove any wide open plains, because rangers aren't able to hide from a warriors attacks! Oh no! I'm a sarcastic son-of-a-[bleep].
  5. worst rimshot ever  Hahahahaha, I try, I try.
  6. The principal was obviously an Athiest. buhdop-psh! Thank you, goodnight.
  7. If someone wants to PK there they should be able to do that without these rangers abusing bugs. We shouldn't avoid our favorite place to pk because of these guys. A bug? Doing what ranged is meant to do is abusing a bug? That's like saying mages abuse bugs because you don't like that they can freeze you.
  8. Quite possibly one of the worst defenses I've ever seen. You did not meet any of his points.
  9. Ah, a deus ex machina. How cute. Assumedly, it is also true that hueless verdant notions slumber angrily. Until you can prove to me that anything else in existence is able to operate beyond the laws of logic, I can only come to the conclusion that a god cannot either. *Laughs quietly* I just told you that the laws of physics did not exist a millionth of a second after the Big Bang. Does that sound logical to you? It doesn't to me, but it is what it is. Your linguistic eloquence, nor your condescension make your argument any better.
  10. Why do you say that? I hear Dawkins towing this line but I've never understood the rationale behind it. How can you claim the odds of something which by definition is not amenable to be detected or measured? I can know the odds of a coin toss or the roll of some dice, but that's because I actually know and can observe the outcome of each trial. Having said that, I don't think not being able to determine the probability of god existing works in his favour. What's the likelihood of your computer being transported halfway across the world, because every atom decided to move in a certain direction simultaneously? Is it low? Yes. Is it measurable? Probably not. That's pretty much the only way that a creator god could come into existence - if he spontaneously appeared at around the same time as the Big Bang. Also, there are a lot of religions - picking the right god lowers your odds significantly. a) Burden of proof. Burden of proof. For the love of Zeus, why don't people understand the burden of proof? B) Yes, there is. Occam's Razor. Allow me to elaborate: Let us imagine that there was a creator God that set off the Big Bang. Great! We've answered the question of how the Big Bang happened (which, I'm happy to admit, we don't know the actual answer to). However, now we have a being which, by definition, must be at least as complex as the universe. This goes against Occam's Razor. So, where did he come from? We've actually exacerbated the conundrum. Oh, and also, there's no evidence whatsoever that one exists. Seeing as the creator created something as large as the ENTIRE UNIVERSE, and there's no evidence of its existence, that actually seems like a pretty good reason for me to not think he exists right now, if you'll excuse the egregious grammar. c) Answered above. One thing I would like to add is that I'm an agnostic. I appreciate that a god may exist. It's just that my atheism lies outside the realm of reasonable doubt. The idea of a god, to me, is unreasonable, yet possible. You could probably call me, and almost every other atheist, a very atheistic agnostic. However, that's a rather convoluted label, so we just stick with 'atheist' to avoid confusion. It only really ever gets confusing when talking with agnostics. The big flaw that pops up in your arguments again and again is this assumption that a god follows any sort of logic. We know that when the Big Bang began, the laws of physics did not exist. All of your reasoning collapses under the weight of an illogical godhead.
  11. I'm open to suggestions ;) My suggestion for range/mage bonuses on the Icyene cape were actually geared more towards hybrid PKers, or hybrid DKers. I also don't think that the capes should have specials at all. The Fire Cape is the best cape in the game. Don't fix what ain't broke. ;)

Slayer is much faster than I keep seeing in this thread. If you concentrate, use piety and a combat familiar, you can get some pretty insane experience. Is it 100k melee experience an hour? No, but it's certainly not as low as you make it out to be. Not saying that you're wrong about your other methods being faster, but don't underestimate Slayer.
  13. Lenticular, I can really emphasize with your beliefs. Blue, very well said. =D>
  14. Randoms are getting an update, obviously. Other than that, nothing special. I was hoping for some new insight into Runescape lore. I CANNOT BE SATISFIED.
  15. Great idea. \ I sort of have that in my text already, but it would be nice to have a section on it... That is a pretty good idea. =D> I'd actually be pretty interested in seeing that.
  16. How hard do Onyx(e) and Dragonstone(e) bolts hit? How often do the specials activate? Do the Onyx bolts heal effectively? How hard does the Dragonfire Shield special hit? How accurate is it? Down it take a turn? I NEED ANSWERS.
  17. This is exactly what I'm doing. I log in to take care of MTK, and maybe do a little bit of random skilling. I'm too busy right now, but I still want to complete my Runescape goals, so I take it pretty easy.
  18. We're all wrong, are we? So there is a god, it's just that he exists in a different way than the one we understand? There isn't a god, but we're wrong about the concept of nonexistence? How can we all be wrong? Either there is a god or there isn't. And until we discover some sort of supernatural realm, the God hypothesis can be tested in this natural world, using scientific principles. And it's been done. And we haven't found anything. I'm sorry, but I'm sick of you agnostics, with your perceived intellectualism, and unfounded arrogance. I think sometimes you enjoy telling everyone else that they're wrong. Scroll up, sir, and read my pretentious pseudo-intellectual nonsense for yourself. Your logic does not work on me. At first, I was just trollín', but I posted my beliefs. Now I'm lol'ing because I STILL trolled someone. And finally, if I may ask, what sort of degree do you hold, and in which science? Also, this: Proof, please. he bestowed upon us the 2-step, the holiest of c-walks
  19. OK, I feel as though I've spammed, so I'll post my thoughts on the subject. I was raised in a Christian household. In my early teens I decided that I was not a practicing Christian, did not hold Christian values, and most importantly, I did not believe in a Christian God. I went through my Atheist phase, telling everyone who would listen that their God is a farce, etc, etc. Then I came to the conclusion that I am completely ignorant as to whether or not there is a God or higher power. Thus, I declared my agnosticism. I'm now pursuing a career in astrophysics, or more specifically, cosmology, which is somewhat of a religion in itself. I am a highly curious person, and I find the unknown or supernatural to be extremely interesting. It is my belief that if there is a higher power, it is nothing like any religious deity. If there is a creator, who created the creator, and so and so on? It's endless. Perhaps one day we'll figure it out. We'll know what went on before that speck of matter exploded into our universe. Until then, I'm happy to ponder, and reluctant to conclude.
  20. ITT: We debate using either faulty logic, knowledge, or lack thereof. I didn't have to read this thread to know that everyone here is wrong.
  21. I'd have to say that leaving the music out entirely would be perfectly fine. I probably wouldn't bother with it either.
  22. If you use music, use something symphonic. I can't tell you how many RS videos I watch with crappy music. Everyone can appreciate epic music, however.

This topic is interesting to me. On the one hand, I would have to agree with other posters that Jagex should not cater to pures. HOWEVER, an auto retaliate button should be added to familiars for other, valid reasons, such as the familiar distracting monsters that you'd rather they not distract. Also, familiars really need to initiate an attack more quickly. I don't mind clicking the call button, but it should be instant. The moment I hit a monster, my familiar needs to attack it as well. If the system worked like that, with a familiar only attacking when YOU attack, it would be much better.
  24. Thanks everyone! I'll add you all, and I'll go and find a French forum. Can't wait for French Runescape.
