  1. Probably just did Desert Treasure. Duh. :D Where is zuriel mentioned in desert treasure? Get it? Zuriel did Desert Treasure to get Ancient Magicks! Just like the rest of us! I lol'd.
  2. I think you've got something with Zuriel using Ancients. The KB mentions that Zuriel mastered both Ancients and Modern magicks, so I don't know if that means he's just a great mage, or Ancient Magicks were taught to him. EDIT: Scratch that, it just says he mastered Ancients. Very curious.
  3. [hide=] That does make some sense, maybe hes onto something. First time he makes sense.... OT: Very nice find, hope you guys find more out. I'm not that much into researching stuff in an online game. You kind of insulted us and complimented us there :? I believe I mentioned morrigan was a female... and you are wayy wrong if you think morrigan is the only male, if you checked you'd see that vesta is a goddess. If vesta is meant to be a male than it is unimportant, because we can pretty much guarantee that the origin is with the Roman goddess. wat. I said Morrigan is the only female in the group. The others are referred to as "he" in the KB. I couldn't find any referenced to vesta as he/her, or statius as her/he. Could you show me some? [/hide] http://www.runescape.com/kbase/viewarti ... le_id=2009 There's where it mentions Zuriel and Morrigan as being male and female, respectively. But, you're right in that it doesn't specify the genders of Vesta or Statius.

  5. It should be noted that Vesta, Statius, and Zuriel are males, while Morrigan is a female. Check the weapon speeds page and the range, melee, and mage guides in the KB, respectively. I am also extremely curious as to who these warriors were. Because of what the KB says, it seems as though they just enjoyed fighting. But, who knows.
  6. I've seen it mentioned multiple times in this forum that it can make money through vials. Maybe I'm going insane. (assumming you are using water staff) Astral rune =170gp Fire rune=9gp One cast costs 179gp. 26 vials=1976gp 26 water filled vials= 2522 Minus the rune and vial cost, and you have 367gp profit per inventory. Ah, thank you! Iwasdoinitrong.

  8. Physics major here. Completely off topic, but I should mention that the number of atoms in the known universe is said to be between 10^78 and 10^81. Roughly.
  9. I've heard this makes good money, but it's slow. I looked up the prices, and it seems like you'd lose a lot of money. How does this work? Amidoinitrong?
  10. Yes, thankyou for your wise and insightful input. It was greatly appreciated. Anyway, unfortunately, most RS players tend to not listen to facts and truths, and just do their own thing. By the way, just a question, if a guy is 1-iteming with a whip for example and dies with protect item on, does it count as him risking the 1m (or whatever it is that whips are worth these days) or 0gp? actually i think what you're risking is the value it tells you when you log in lulz i just went to fally with 3 items and these same two guys just kept coming back for more i killed each of them like 10 times no useful drops To answer the Whip question, anything that you keep on death is not counted towards your 75k. In regards to Mag, if you kill the same people over and over again, your chance of good loot decreases.
  11. A full load of prayer potions will last you a very, very long time at Zamorak GWD.
  12. I disagree. Say you were to kill someone wearing the best of the best PK gear. You would get no more reward than someone with a DDS and full rune. Is that really fair? His point was that you don't have to wait for a certain target anymore. You can just jump in and start massacring everyone, and it's a good strategy to do so. This time, PKing is based more around having fun.
  13. If you keep killing the same people over and over again, while not risking at least 75k, you're not going to get anything good. You need to spend a lot of time outside of a safe spot killing a variety of people.
  14. That explains why you didn't get a pair. so, these gloves are only usable on pvp worlds? You do realize, ikraz66, that you need to risk 75k to get a drop? And yes, only on PvP worlds. That's interesting. It wouldn't be too hard to use them uninterrupted, and even if you were killed while using them, you still got a great exp boost for a while.

  16. How does taking a rare item, and making it more rare introduce a stable economy. If the item has real benefits(makes you pking god), then the item will continually be sought after Like NukeMarine said, it's because these items are constantly disappearing. The price will surely drop because of the rate of decay. These items have by far the best stats in Runescape, and when the price drops enough, they'll be bought and used by PKers.
  17. An easy way to test that out would be to buy one of the corrupted javelins or thrown axes. They're cheap, so it wouldn't be a loss.
  18. The weapons will be used far more often for pvp than the armor, and only for the specs. On top of that, it's cost efficient to buy the corrupted versions. I think for right now, the expensive ancient armors are going to be neat outfits for people with a couple million to spend.
  19. Clearly you are unaware of the log market...
  20. My name, Darkalien317, is highly original and highly epic. Though, it was REALLY weird to discover that there's a second Darkalien out there. This happened four or five years after creating my account... Anyway, I named my pure Astral Mourn. I like it. Even though it never went anywhere.
  21. Correct, but only a small amount, depending on how many quests you've done. Though, I should tell you that earning the money yourself is much more satisfactory.
  22. For anyone who has used the new ancient weapons, are they 2h?
