Dark Beasts
(bolded part by me) Im not sure I understand what you ment about that? Did you mean that the other beasts dont drop dark bow? because they do you know :) I always kill the ones up by the rune rock and I get a bow on each slayer assignement. They drop them quite frequent in my case acctually. About whip vs gs; I used both and I have to say gs is way better on the beasts then whip. If you have a gs I would advice to use that on them. No, what he meant was that when the Dark Bow was added to the game, a huge area was added with new Dark Beasts. I don't know if this area is multi or not. I've never heard that before, but I think most slayers just use the Beasts by the Rune rock.

Where would you be in life without Runescape?
I started Runescape at the young age of 11. Back then, it stimulated my imagination and I was in love with it because it felt like a game with no limits. Fast forward seven years; I'm eighteen, in college and about to complete my AS degree, I have a wonderful girlfriend, a few close friends that I could trust with my life, I'm in great shape, and I've just begun recording my band's first album. I have a license, a truck, and now all I need is another job (been unemployed for a few months now :twss: ). All in all, Runecape is what I do in my spare time when my friends are busy, or if I just don't feel like going out. If Runescape had never been invented, I'd probably be playing some other game, or I'd be bored more often. :XD:

Final blow on a tasked monster
Yeah, familiars don't halve your experience in any way. Neither does poison.

DED BLAWG
A few things happened tonight. Used a SS for the first time, loved it. Got my first Spiritual Mages task right after getting 83 Slayer. Finished in about thirty minutes, then camped for another thirty. Got two Dragon Boots from the camping. Very excited. Also very tired. 3am. Sleep.

Dark Beasts
This is here is a good setup, but I recommend bringing Zamorak Brews instead of Super Attacks, and bring a cannon and a LOT of cannon balls. And as another poster said, use death altar tabs.

90 slayer worth it?
I agree with this here. If you enjoy Slayer, then it's absolutely worth it. I for one cannot wait for 90 Slayer.

DED BLAWG
Oh hi there, guess what I just got? 83 Slayer. I'm happy. Very happy.

Perfect Time to buy Sharks & Super Sets?
Amen.

DED BLAWG
Thanks man! Crazy coincidence. You once spoke to me when I was on my newb account, Morning Day. You asked me what my mining level was, and told me that it's a great skill. This would have been a few months ago at least. Haha, funny.

Perfect Time to buy Sharks & Super Sets?
I get the feeling that everyone is hoarding their sharks, super sets, etc, till the big update. Once it happens, ALL of it is going to flood the GE, causing what could be a temporary crash. I've been trying to buy Prayer Potions and Super Strengths at max to no avail.

Greater demons = best option 4 me?
With your stats, Waterfiends will tear you apart. Their range is much stronger than their mage. TRAIN. SLAYER. SERIOUSLY. For you, it'll be the absolute fastest way to not only level summoning, but to increase your combat skills all around in order to camp at a monster that drops high rates of crimsons. You do not NEED 52 Summoning to be efficient or to maximize efficiency. It is very helpful, yes, but we were being extremely efficient before Summoning. Train Slayer.

Worst Slayer Tasks
Ok, this explains our different experience. I've never fought them there. I always fight them in Brimhaven, usually range them. I've seen them in the tunnels on the way to Bork, though. Still, I don't care about charms -- already got more than I know what to do with. But if you like crimson charm droppers and fast xp, try waterfiends -- I probably have more crimson charms than any other color, mostly from waterfiend assignments. I love Waterfiend assignments, especially now that I have a bunyip. I'm eventually going to max out combat, so I care very much about charms. ;)

Worst Slayer Tasks
I am surprised that we have the same slayer level since our experiences are so different. I've found Scarabites to be a worthless assignment. They're easy with a cannon, but who wants to deal with the cannon and getting the cannonballs and going all the way down there and wading through the swamp? Plus the drops are lame. Black Demons one of the best charm doppers in the game? Are you kidding? I've found them to be one of the worst. Honestly, I've found pretty much every other assignment to drop more charms. Isn't there some empirical data on this? Besides, since I do a lot of slayer, charms are not a problem -- I have thousands of every color. The seconds are the problem. I'll probably block the Wyverns -- at my level, I do slayer for xp, not for profit, and these things look SLOW. Maybe I should try them once before spending the slayer points, just to be sure. I've never had a problem with steel dragons. Of course, I am one of the few that mele them, so this may give me an advantage when it comes to holding onto my spawn. They spawn pretty quickly, just enough time to top off my prayer as needed and bury the bone. They are slow killing, but I like the drops. I would never block Greater Demons -- throw on armadyl, grab a crystal blow, go to the cage in the ogre dungeon and slaughter away. They are abundant and die readily. That's the fastest range xp I've ever found. The drops are worthless, but who cares? If you know what you're doing, you can kill Scabarites in the Contact! dungeon with a cannon. They're the third best crimson droppers in the game. Only Black Demons in the Chaos Tunnels drop an abundance of charms. This is because only one graphical type of Black Demon drops them. There is plenty of empirical data, I recommend that you read Zarfot's guide on the RSOF. Just search for Mega Slayer Guide 3. A Wyverns task can be over in an hour if you're fast. They're not great experience, but they're not terrible. However, because you seem to enjoy Steel Dragons and you've found a way to take care of Greater Demons without trouble, Wyverns would be an option. I'm personally going to unblock Greaters when I reach 127 combat.

Worst Slayer Tasks
If you use Duradel, he cannot assign Jungle Horrors. Terrorbirds and Scabarites, especially Scabarites, are great tasks if you know what you're doing. Black Demons are one of the best charm droppers in the game, and easy to take down if you're using a combat familiar. Skeletal Wyverns are slow, but if you melee them, collect the bones and bank a few times, you'll always profit on a task. Part of slaying is know how to best deal with certain monsters. Your list is much better reserved for monsters that are impossibly inefficient, such as Steel Dragons because of their limited spawns, or Greater Demons because of the wild dogs that constantly interrupt you.

Bandos Platebody
I'm argumentative.

Bandos Platebody
People seem to be ignoring the fact that he's 108 combat and needs the extra defense of barrows armor. A torso might be perfectly fine if you have 85+ defense, but at 70-75, it wont cut it. Hmm, I used a torso when I was 70 def and still preferred it over a barrows plate because I had guthans, still use it too and im only 80 now. Just looked him up and hes 80 def, not 70-75, dont know where you got that from... As a player that values my time spent on Runescape, I would consider the need to use guthan's more often as a result of a fighter torso to be a huge detriment. At 80 defense, he needs more defense in order to use guthan's as little as possible. The time spent healing more than offsets the slightly higher hits.

Skeletal Wyverns - Just got 72 Slayer.
On a Wyvern task, you're much better off using the black mask and meleeing. I wouldn't recommend range unless you're determined to complete your task in no less than three hours.

Skeletal Wyverns - Just got 72 Slayer.
As stated before, Karil's top and skirt, whip, one super set, four-five prayer potions, fill your inventory with food, and if you can use a beast of burden, fill that with food as well. Protect from melee. Pick up every single bone. The charm count is good, and you'll get a granite leg drop every once in a blue moon. The bones alone, if sold on the GE, will make your money back. It's a slow task, but not worth a spot on your perm cancel list.

I would agree with you, but considering his combat level, he needs the defense.

Kent's guide to Slayer mastery! NEW SECTION!!!
If you do, make it basic inventories. Take a snapshot of the inventory with necessary items minus food and potions, because not everyone will be able to follow your food items or potions exactly. Just a suggestion. ;)

Bandos Platebody
He doesn't have the defense level to use a torso efficiently. He's much better off with Barrows. Also, a torso does not have good defense. :|
