Thank you. but dont u think its unfair how the rangers are getting the best way to pk while every1 else has to suffer? Not necessarily, because there are plenty of places on the map where melee'rs have the advantage, and the same goes for mages. This is really the first time in Runescape history that the land is TRULY exploitable by all. The old Wilderness had obstacles, but they were few, fair between, and not all that helpful. The ditch works for rangers, yes, but there are large expanses of land that work in favor of warriors as well.

u obviously dont get what im saying.... if the ditch was built to stop luring then let it be there but there is no luring so why is it there?!?!?! now people r using it and its getting annoying! I get what you're saying, but it's not a valid reason to remove the ditch. The fact that it provides a challenge like that is wonderful.

As stated many times, you can... um... you can... RANGE THEM BACK?! If we remove the wilderness ditch from pvp worlds, we also need to remove every single potential safe spot. It's not fair that your opponent can use the terrain to outsmart you!

The heads in the forge resemble Wyvern heads. In one of the postbags, I believe, a character talks about the Wyverns during the God Wars.

The "I don't want to range so I shouldn't have to" argument is completely idiotic. Exploiting the ditch is SMART, but not game breaking. It's easily countered by OMGWTF RANGIG THM BAACKCK !!!!11! You PK in Edge to find people your own level? Again, you're maxed combat. You can EASILY find opponents in deep wilderness. Again, you have absolutely nothing to complain about. If you lack the range levels to fight near the ditch, DON'T GO NEAR THE DITCH! You can apply the same concept to just about ANYTHING in Runescape. Why the hell do we have levels again?

as i sed i dont want to range and this has happened to me thousands of times in a short space of time. i cant find a way other that barrage (but they wear dhide so very hard) or just range Wait, so you think the ditch is a problem because YOU don't want to range? Why in the hell did you get 99 Range? Why aren't you using a Steel Titan at the very least? Come on man, you're not even trying, but you're complaining?

You're completely maxed combat. I'm sure you can find a way to destroy the guy shooting needles at you from across the ditch. /facepalm

Whenever you attack a monster, call your familiar. It'll start to attack whatever is attacking you. When you let your familiar finish off a monster, it'll keep attacking that monster as long as the monster is attacking either it, or you. Familiars don't work with ranged because the monsters can't hit you. If you still have problems after this, urdoinitrong. And the Overlord is pretty badass for the level. It really speeds up tasks if you use it properly, as I've explained above.

It's a good suggestion. I like it. My only problem is with the cape. Perhaps give it a +5 mage and range attack bonus and keep the original stats. That way, the Fire Cape is still very useful, and they're just two capes for two different situations. EDIT: To elaborate further, I just don't like the idea of a level 95 Slayer monster that doesn't drop something truly useful. It seems as though the cape is really just for looks. I think it should be something WORTH getting in itself, not just as a companion to a fire cape.

When a Slayer guide tells me to bring a gem to every task, I can't take it seriously.

I don't believe you have 85 Slayer, enjoy your DFAILH.

I really don't like Slayer threads in this forum. You use prayer to get your tasks done more quickly. People like me, who actually want more than 5k slayer exp an hour, refuse to bank during a task. Now, there are obvious exceptions, such as spectres, but generally you want to stick around and get the task done more quickly. What are these medium level monsters that you're told to pray at? Just spectres and goraks? If you've done Smoking Kills and you have a cannon, it's best to do spectres in the desert dungeon. Tasks take 30 minutes tops, extremely fast banking, and you always make a profit. The higher your slayer level gets, the more money you make. Getting tasks done quicker allows you to accumulate wealth much more quickly. You spend money to make much more. I know it seems like a GREAT IDEAR to save on pray potions, barrows, all that good (and I do mean good) stuff, but you're shooting yourself in the foot.

I HAVE A CONVERT!!!!!!!!!! (sorry) Yeah, unless you want to have high slayer for bragging rights, you will get much better XP at a spot like flesh crawlers, especially at your defence level. But you gain Slayer xp? And almost all skills in RS is just for total skills. On top of that, you gain access to some of the best item droppers in the game, while having the ability to train every combat stat all at once.

I know a pure with 10 defense (to wear a black mask), and he has almost 90 Slayer. It's entirely possible, but if you do it, you might want to consider ranging most of your tasks. EDIT: Scratch that, he has 96 Slayer with all of his combat stats at 99 except for Defense, which is still 10, Prayer - 53, and Summoning - not ranked. :shock:

yes they are sitting in my bank and growing slowly lol thank you for the opinion...it's really touching me :shock: I really want bandos since they are really good in both defence and offence. I hope they could settle in price soon :oops: The way I see it, don't worry about the price. Buy the item and keep it. With 100m, you should definitely invest in a fury at the VERY least.

You assume incorrectly, sir. I always ask politely, then I get vicious. Quit being a pessimistic [puncture]. Every time you enter your username and password into the login screen, you understand and accept that you are playing an MMORPG, and as such there will be OTHER HUMAN BEINGS who have every right to do what they like in the game, assuming they follow the rules set by Jagex. There are plenty of single player console games out there, and you are more than welcomed to play them if you so detest human to human contact. You also assume that players such as Robin and I simply crash in on people's training spots and try and push them out. Here, I'll try and explain it again: If someone treads on my territory in game, I will push them out. They have every right to be there, and they have every right to try their best to make me hop worlds. Believe it or not, some people ENJOY competition! (LOLWUT AMIRITE.) tl;dr Quit whining.

Personally, I will battle for my spot. I don't care if I'm getting less experience, it's FUN. Most of my Slayer tasks take place in multi, so if someone comes and tries to push me out, no matter what level they are, I'll fight back. I turn on piety and go full force, attacking their monsters and doing whatever I can to make sure that they know it is MY spot. I only draw the line if a 135+ with good gear comes along. Then I know I can't win, even with piety. For me, competition is the most fun you can have in Runescape. That's also why I love mining. I honestly wish that people would try and crash my slayer spots more often. If you're on task, and you see me, by all means, stick around. ;)

Just got to find someone then. This is where I write to Jagex and ask them to release Runescape in French. EDIT: Apparently they ARE translating it to French!

I'll take a look and see if I can find something. Haha, how in the world am I going to know if someone is out of line? My French isn't THAT good!

Haha, maybe I should. I'm actually American, learning French, so I think it may be a little strange for me of all people to start one. But, it wouldn't hurt. Where would I advertise it? Hmmmm.

I never wear anything on the basis that it looks good. Stats > looks.
