LMAO at the title, but this guy has an awesome point!! In my opinion, such a script violates none of these proscriptions. i heard that there is a way to get around that that i dont believe Jagex has been able to fix yet: using a script from a Mac. i've never actually tried this one out because i haven't the s[/hide]lightest idea how to write a script.

WOAH DUDE. is it really worth pissing people off and insulting people to make that point? Yes, there is a good reason why they did it (put the ditch there) and its true that it doesnt inconvience anyone for more than a second, but the point that i think people are really trying to make here is that Jagex didnt put enough effort into solving the problem. even though the ditch is by no means idiot proof, it does help. we all just think (at least i think) that the ditch, as it is, is ugly and doesnt go well with the rest of the game. Something needs to be done, and i feel that the aim of (most of) the contributors was to make suggestions and to entertain themselves with the (percieved) stupidity of the noobs that brought it about. i think we all just found out who really doesnt care for other peoples' feelings...

THE DITCH IS LAME. i sort of like the idea, i mean, i got scammed once by some guy who asked me for help, led me into the wild and killed me. i was still a naiive noob, and didnt realize what he was doing until it was too late. i just ignored the warning about the wild without reading it or knowing what it was. I reported him for scamming, like youre supposed to do, AND I LEARNED MY LESSON. the ditch probably would have prevented this from happening. ***HOWEVER*** the actual ditch that they added is lame. it should be more interesting: not a straight line, and it should have [bleep]es on the bottom or something... I totally like the password blocker. i also like that you cant say the word "password". it is a good step towards protecting idiot noobs in the game, but i still agree with whoever said that that wont stop idiots from telling passwords on AIM or other forums.
